Episode 174 Discussion: 21st Jan 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Sangeet ceremony for Padmini-Shamsher's upcoming marriage - Playing Antakshari

Events of the Episode

20 minutes of Antakshari, the set decoration is visual delight, the actors and characters look lovely. Beautiful moments between Malik and Kundra family, individual dances, the sisters agreeing to matured way of outlook on life going foreward, the jethani-devranis, the Saas and her Bahus as they dance joined by their Samdhis and her sons and the husband and wife's outsmarting each other to express their love/feelings for the other in front of everyone.

i was looking for this thread but couldn't find it, forum is flooded with new threads 😛

my head is spinning today 😭 ...needless to say today's episode was a BOMB...very much expected...but i hate myself for watching the SBS segment n killing the exitement 😭

the epi. was perfect from every angle...apart frm our lovely couple, a lot of ups n ups 😃 the set up, the challenge, the whole family dancing..everybody was looking outstanding, except Dips & Trishna 🤢( loud make up and garish costumes 🤢 )Padmini truely looking like a bride, Shammo was good, Roma i never like, Bittuji was cool and of course the best of the lot...Madhu & RK

good they didn't copy Maine pyar kiya antakshari..

everybody was dancing , all the songs were awesome...bas, jinka sangeet tha, unke liya koi song nahi aaya 😆 sr. bhatia's PJ's managed to make me laugh here n there

Madhu was in her elements today, she joined everybody on the floor n overshadowed them easily ..i think Drishti is at her best in these scenes where she has to act naughty , mischievous & bubbly ..n today she was all that plus sensual & romantic too...no other heroine on screen can match upto her...she's just mindblowing...

maye ni maye was choreographed well & loved Madhu dancing on it...my fav. dialogue & scene frm today's epi. HAD to be this one "just bec. maine pati hone ka faida nahi uthaya aur tumhe safe chod diya, iska matlab ye nahi main JOGI hoon" 🤣 ur entry is disqualified biwi 😆i love u RK 🤗Madhu kisse panga le liya..i knew he'll win the challenge..

Sikky n Dips dance was good enuf.. 😆

Radhaji dancing on "Radha teri chunari" OMG ! tht was something.."radha likes to move her beep beep beep" 🤣 loved everyone's dance on it...

Roma taking away bittuji so that RK can sit next to Madhu

Dips ka dance was WOW.😆🤢..besharmi ki hadh hai...how can anyone not notice her 😆 loved Madhu taking her away frm RK , leaving her on the dance floor n go back to her hubby 👏 kisse panga liya Dips...when she can make RK go on his knees, teri toh woh band baja degi ⭐️

Trishna's dance was not good enuf..sorry Trishna's fans

finally when "K" came i was relieved tht the song will come today itself...WOW is a small word for it...both of them were sizzling ...it was sooo beautiful & sensuous, they were so lost in each other they were more than perfect..what i liked abt it was that the song was very sensous and it doesn't go well with the family scene..but they still manage to choreograph it that way ke the essence of the song was not lost , the passion & sizzle was present n decency was maintained 😆...now the person who cannot see chemistry b/w them should get their eyes checked ...

not fair !! ab how did RK cheat? he gave her enuf chance to win 😆 why didn't she say it?? in the end, he had to win thank u Bittuji

the last scene was sooo romantic n cute.."jao bittuji ke saath dance karo" 🤣 "main naraz hoon, mujhe koi nahi manayega" n my fav. "biiiwiii" he says this word differently every time n each time it becomes an aaawww moment for me...he introduced himself 😆 n cut the crap n danced with her , more or less bahon ke darmiyan way n in the end, untied the dori..now THAT is some milestone 🤣 itna BADA teer maara yaar 😎

ab bhagwan ke liye utilize this opportunity n don't tie it up again arre kuch toh aage bado...

precap spelled doom...now everybody will know tht Trishna signed a movie and the next day, they will know who was the producer...n nobody except RK knows tht Trishna signed this person's movie so Trishna ka career will be in doldrums again..sad :( tomorrow will be dhamaka epi. once again , wed. se humara kya hoga 😭 i dun wanna watch tht C grade type climax n God knows they will stretch it for how many episodes...

Looks like RK has another match to set up...a new love story between Bittuji and Roma.. 😆 uff...dey were openly flirting/teasing...😆 n what was it with Radhaji telling Padmini and Shamsher,'bahut acha laga, aap aye?' Idiot...it was der sangeet ceremony..unko to ana hi tha na...😆 😆

RKs dialogue of 'Roma paste, RK paste, Trishna paste' was hilarious...😆

All the dance/performances were too good. Why was bittuji jumpint like a 10 year old kid throughout the episode? 😆A spl song for Radhaji with Radha on the dance floor... 🤣...n RK says to his mother 'Radha tera jhumka, Radha tera thumka'...😲 😆...
Would have loved to see someone dedicate 'jaa chudail' to deepali..but dats me daydreaming...
deepalis again leaves no chance to chipkofy RK during her dance...n wats with her lipstick? 🤢
They chose an apt song for Trishnas performance, 'kisike hath n ayegi yeh ladki'...true..no body can control her anyways... 😆 😆

Loved the small, cute conversation btwn RK and Madhu during Roma's performance. Him nudging her slightly 😉, her telling him that she won the bet by singing ;maye ne maye', RK reminding Madhu that just becoz he hasn't taken any advantage of being her husband yet 😳, doesn't mean that he is a jogi...(thats another thing that he is soon planning to be one,although in a different sense😉 with this 'Lets leave everything behind' dream).

Their dance to 'kaate nahi katate' amidst their love and nok-jhok filled challenge was superb. Very sensuous I might say. Himmat hai dono me..to dance like this in front of the whole family n guests...👏

Biwi showing fake narazgi...I really doubt if RK will ever have to coax madhu...doesn't seem like she can be upset with him even for 10 mins...😆 n after the much hyped dori tying sequence, today we get the dori untying scene as well 😳...lets c wat punishment RK holds for his biwi...

P.S: Do I need to mention I was drooling over our hero for whole 20 mins?

Was on a call the 1^st few minutes so wasn't really paying attention to the show….

What is the fun if it was supposed to be the Kundras Vs Maliks? And the Kundras had their own private challenge on. No surprises on the eternal Mr India song being the song RK fell back on for his challenge. From being uncomfortable watching the song in the other's presence to performing the song infront of their families… RK-Madhu have come a long way. Building up the suspense for the 'I love you' was well done... RK was RK, he caught her by surprise and won the challenge. I would have sulked at this sequence being a clich scene… but the couple have a special affiliation toward Mr India… and 'kaate nahi kathe..' was their song. Their private moment in their bedroom was good too.

The Kundra (and the Bhatia) women dancing for Radha wants more and RK joining them was nice… wish they were indeed a happy family.

RK looked handsome, Madhu looked beautiful. DD looks beautiful with her hair open… the only problem is DD's habit of running her hands on her tresses every 10 seconds… it is distracting and beyond a point annoying.

Holy heck, the CV's are really stacking up with the double meanings aren't they- Just because you've be safe until now, or just because I haven't taken advantage of being your husband- RK has become naughty! Or maybe it's just my mind...

Fellow SBCC members- if you are out there today- he untied the dori! He untied the dori!

Liked the back and forth between them- liked that Madhu put Dips in her place in a classy way (what was up with Dips lipstick anyway, it looked so garish on her)

Liked that RK cheated- he has to win at any cost. But amid all this happiness the cloud of Balraj is fast approaching.

Ah well, all good things must come to an end.

You see, I am still giddy after the episode. The effect hasn't gone yet. So, might have missed it. But you see, though he said ke he wont manaofy her bec woh gusse me hi achi lagti hai, I feel somewhere he knows she can never be too upset with him. 😉 n isi baat ka wo fayda uthata hai...😉
