Anupam Kher was great in the movie. But, I think the whole purpose of the scene did not flow with the context of the script as you said. Hollywood does a good job of exaggerating everything to! This movie has opened up my eyes today! 😊 Blacks and Latinos have the most amount of racism in America, now they show Indian racism for the first time.

They actually set good example by showing that racisim do exist but is bad since Bradley n his brother fought for anupam kher. Such situation does exist so it is pretty realistic n justified.Nothing wrong in it.
I loved the movie though😊

Racism exists in America! There is nothing new in that, and I think the issue should be addressed rather than ignored. As long as people are made aware that racial slurs are a bad thing and there can be severe consequences of it then I am fine with it. I think it should be applauded rather than criticized for showing that racist people would be like in the movie thrashed if they make stupid comments like that. And, that scene was needed in the movie to show Bradley Cooper lose his cool.

Each and everyone has biases against other humanity.
