I think she has been a most complete actresses who succeeded in popular as well as parallel drama...👍🏼...and who says Madz is not versatile...from Devdas to Anjam...Mrityudand to Lajja...from Khalnayak to Beta..and not to forget HANK Raja..and Saajan...she has done all..👏..
i think she's very underrated wen it comes to acting...😒

Madhuri's even first movie ABODH was a tough role of a young bride who didn't knew the meaning of marriage and being a woman.
then from dil, beta, parinda, prahaar, 100 days, sangeet, hahk, sahibaan, anjaam, Prem Granth (one of the toughest role), Mrityu Dand, koyla, pukar, zindagi ek juaa, Devdas and even Gaja Gamini... a wide variety of roles... that Kajol never portrayed in her entire career.

Lmaooo I find her versatile, thats my POV, hv prblm with it? I dun think u should hv :). Have you seen Dushman, Udhar ki Zindagi, We are family, U Me aur Hum and many othrs? If you would hv then surely wouldh't hv cmntd about depth in her acting and if u hv and still u don't then I truly hv no words for you...lol. Variety? really? right from anjaam to Prem Granth to Koyla, what has she plyd? same tortured soul, who was assaulted and who got up in the end to fight for self, you call this variety? And Abodh, really? hv u seen the movie youself? if not then do check, she was so expressionless throughout the movie. And Kajol has done very selective movies, she never took all movies that came in her way but whatever she took were amazing and different right from homely girl in DDLJ to confused girl in PTHHT to shy, quiet, girl next door in Ishq to tomboyish and restarind girl in K2H2 and many more. Anyways, you dun wanna acknowledge, your choice :) I love both of them alot but Kajol has an edge over Madhuri in acting

She was simply selectve about her roles and movies and did not take up anything and everything that came in her way, KJO always had offer her different roles so she took up and had it been just about frndship thn she would hv nvr made a comeback with Kunal Kohli's Fanna over KJo KANK and would hv nvr rejectd Nisha's role in SRK starrer DTPH. Kajol is known and is popular just coz of acting and screen presence otherwse a girl with dusky look with no oomph factor or brilliant dancing skills would hv nvr made into Bwood. She have good commercial success ratio with SRK and KJo but that certainly does not cut down her brilliant acting skills which she has showcased in almost every movie of hers. It was acting for Kajol that kept her alive in Bwood while it ws Madhuri,s sensuality and hit nos. that played major role in Madhuri's carrier
