Both were brilliant actors and had awesome comic timing..but Kajol was definitely the bigger star..the fact that she and Sharukh had awesome chemistry and starred in one blockbuster after another contributed a great deal to this

Juhi, Madhuri and Karisma over Kajol anyday

Juhi Chawla was never really about star power. I don't remember her giving much successful films post 1993. Kajol anyday had more star power. I think 1998 was totally her pinnacle when she gave successful films like KKHH, PKTDK, PTHHT, Dushman. She's given successes both with big banners and outside big banners. She's ahead of Juhi in every way except the looks department.

I always feel angry at Juhi for not handling her career well! Got slotted in silly films and became a second rung actress by late 90s working with Anil/Sanjay/Govinda!

I think Kajol's star power is reflected in the fact that till date she continues to get lead roles opposite Khans & A-listers whereas Juhi isn't even approached for supporting roles.

Juhi's been unlucky also (maybe because she was an outsider?). Kajol isn't said to have much of a good behaviour either (she was blunt, prone to temper tantrums). Still she gets work and got support of big banners. Whereas Juhi had to suffer bans from co-stars and filmmakers for her bluntness.

Not another...I love all 90s actresses so to choose b/w them is very tough but this is simple Kajol was a bigger star. Juhi could hv been but she took very wrong projects and didn't explore herself atall
