gr8 update dear.i loved RK and Rishab convo & was happy to see madhubala happy.
oh god she fainted again. the hard words of prosecution really made her upset.pls pls update soon.
just read da last 2chapters in a go.wonderful.madhubala and madhu meeting,rk vs rk,court proceeding, dinner at rk and madhubala house in othet words each and every part of da two updates were awesome.im loving these court trial chapters would love to watch such a track in da shw.and it will boost up da shw.and credit will defnitely go to u.thanx for pm.waiting for next part.
"Is the defendant okay to continue to the trial?"
"Yes my lord", the medics declared.
"The court shall resume proceeding now".
"My wife fainted in the courtroom. Have you no sympathy?" RK was trying hard to curb his emotions and not swing at the judge.
"Mr. R.K. your wife is stable. Please take your seat or I will have security escort you out. Defence may proceed".
Madhu walked with a signature strut, one that would make her look like the winning attorney of a lost case. And a lost case it was. No witness, no evidence to prove their theory of self defence, previous accounts of Madhubala's involvement in Boris' killings. Madhubala stood as guilty in the eyes of the law as Boris.
"You are under oath Ms. Madhubala. Answer precisely what I ask for. Did you witness the murder of your unborn sibling at hands of your father?"
Her eyes shoot up in the witness chair. A redness engulfed her pale complexion. She nodded ever so slightly.
"That's a yes, my lord. Ms. Madhubala saw her father kill her brother or sister. What did you do to stop him? Did you stop him? Did you tell the police? Did you ask your neighbours for help? What on earth did you do to make it all better?" Madhubala looked at RK and RK back at her. "Do not scan the audience for clues. Answer the question".
"Nothing", she managed to whisper into the microphone "I coward".
"Your mother, your fiance, the supposed love of your life, all killed by your father. I am sure you can testify to a dozen other deaths whose direct causative agent is your father Boris. Were you still quiet?"
Another empty nod. The pinch of sympathy that the judiciaries had left for Madhubala was now wiped clean by her own lawyer. RK questioned his decision to risk his wife's freedom in the hands of an amateur who knew not what she was doing.
"What changed on December 30th at Locckawon that made you struggle. Do not fool the court with an excuse that you loved your husband. You are used to losing loved ones. You lost not one, not two but three people due to your cowardice. Your inability to fight back".
"Objection, wasting valuable court time".
"Ms. Madhubala, get to the point".
"What changed?"
A wave of anger spiralled through Madhubala. She was not having anymore of the accusations even if it was from her own lawyer.
"You judgemental prick. You think you know? You know nothing". Madhubala pointed a finger at her lawyer as stood up against her bullies for the first time.
"Order, order. Watch your language young lady".
"I resisted. I killed him for me baby. I pregnant okay", she pressed her belly hard with her hands as her husband cried uncontrollably.
"No further questions".
The courthouse froze in time as they observed the deep rooted connection of RK, Madhubala and their bundle of joy. The judge took a moment to recover from the shock before adjourning the court for deliberation.
"You, you, you, you, you, you. YOU", RK's world had crashed down, stood back up and crashed down several times in the last few minutes. He had lost his ability to rationalize. He was an emotional wreck who needed Madhubala's embrace.
"Laughing or crying, simp?"
"Who taught her that?" RK was not pleased with his wife's growing knowledge of slang. She pointed straight at Rishabh.
"I will deal with you later puppy". Older man let the younger one get a free pass. "Madhubala, you have made me the happiest man alive".
"Want to see?"
"Huh?"
"My belly".
RK scratched his head at the turn of events. A very public announcement of a private affair had brought confusion in the air around them. He did not know whether to rejoice the news of their pregnancy or prepare for judgement. RK looked toward the younger couple for advice.
They nodded with go for it look and dash of we better be the godparents written all over their expecting faces.
"Not my top choice for godparents. Just saying", he punched a hole in Rishabh's ballooning dreams of tapping the infant demographic.
"I really thought we had something together. Baby Kundra and I, in our onsies by the pool, ordering the superstar around. Advertising for Kundra Inc. together".
"The judge has still to make a decision".
"You got this in the bag".
"I am not so sure".
"You are the best goddamn closer in town. Go close".
And close she did. An argument so convincing that if a jury were present, the State would be paying punitive damages to Madhubala for prolonged emotional distress. Alas, the judges are immune to blackmail, or so they like to think. Judge Bhattachariya entered the courtroom with eyes shimmering in sour water.
"The court finds Madhubala Kundra not guilty of all charges. You are free to go".
