Episode 172 Discussion: 17th Jan 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Episode 172 Discussion - EOD Summary

Preparation and mood-setting for upcoming drama.

Rishbala: Chaar Phere Talaab ke kinare, Halwayee ki Dukan, Husn ka pariskshan
Padmini-Radhaji: Pradardhan Khauff ka aur Pratyaachar Naari Shakti ka

Events of the Episode

RK and Madhu continue on their Saat Phera marriage plans with the 5 elements as the witness. Madhu starts the Pheras, she takes 3 and Rk takes the 4th one and he asks Madhu to stop as he wants to complete the rest of the 3 in proper manner.
>>> Seems an indication that they'll have to deal with the family(the 4 pheras suggest that) before their own marital life (the last 3 pheras suggest that)...which might be that the actual remarriage track is a long way off.
RK and Madhu prepare for Padmini -Shamsher's Sangeet ceremony and in the pretext of choosing Madhu's clothes for the Sangeet ceremony, have a flirtatious and teasing romance under the context of RK as the condiment to be complimented and Madhu to be teased as the Husn ke laakho rang.
Padmini starts to share her apprehensions with Radhaji, about losing everything that she loves. She is terribly scared at thinking of what she would have to do if her loathsome and unforgivable past in the form of Balraj returns to claim her as his property.
Radhaji advises Padmini, that she need not treat herself as weaker sex and instead should just fight to beat that stagnating past to embrace her promising future.

i can't control my laughter since i heard it 🤣 is bollywood mein 50,000+ gaane hai, RK ko yahi mila 🤣 see Ballu, this is called CLASS seekho apne daamad se kuch...😎 with RK & Madhu, i dun wanna watch any hug or kisses, aise scene mil jaaye, i'm more than happy 😆 this is chemistry AHAN ..look at his expressions when the song was played

Radhaji and Padmini's convo is good. Kabhie kabhie kushiya bhi overwhelming ho jaata hai.

Well other than the overdose of sweetness what really struck me was Radhaji use of the word gunagaar. How some people don't deserve forgiveness? My question is where do you draw the line. Balraj might be a gunagaar because he abused Paddy and Trishna. Then he tried to kill Madhu. Well Shamsher also tried to kill your son Radhaji. Your son almost killed Mukund. He was quite nasty to Madhu too. So I wonder where is she drawing the line. The vows also included to keep each others family happy but Rishbala are not completely aware of what that might entail. Saving Madhu and her family from Ballu. In Madhu's case keeping Rishu close to his mother.

Anticipatory build-up for Saat Phera marriage of RK and Madhu

When watching the promo ...I had said this two days back ..."okay we do not know yet, how they reach "Stonehenge" (kidding, but using for lack of a better word), they are taking vows before the elements (nature), so just taking the blessings of God and not society." I now know that Stonehenge is a set created for RK's first shot when entering films. Its gonna be used for other purposes as well. They are taking vows before the elements. Shabhaash Shridevi!!! Achhi jaa rahi ho!!

Preparatory Episode for Padmini -Shamsher Marriage

Romance + Khauff + Nari Shakti ka Tadka
Romance will lead to Sangeet ceremony drama
Padmini ka Khauff + Nari Shakti ka Ahsaas from Ms Radhaji to prepare for Ballu drama

Highlight

Ms Radhaji Action Power. She is truly a spokesperson for MEIEJ. She drives people to do something. This is consistently being played...whether admonishing RK, supporting Madhu, RK or advising Padmini,

Agree, romance kuch zyaada hi ho gaya. Too sweet and in danger of getting diabetes. But I will keep quiet for others sake.

Even I did not get for what reason..."Husn ke laakhon rang" was played and what was going on with the cell phone. Why Madhu has that face and what RK was tryinh to hide ? Me too was a Tubelight there 😕

ETA:

Soundarya explained the scene. I now know that RK was playing the song from his mobile, hence that play between miyaan-biwi. Well they could have played the song as if playing from a mobile and not in Dolby Sound Stereo types !!!! What's with sudden song playing in that loud manner.

RK and Madhu continue from where they left yesterday. Btw, wat a thought it was from RK, to seal their relationship in the witness of the five elements that form this earth. just so the couple will be blessed till these elements last... RK is indeed a very romantic husband..
So, they take 4 pheras again, with saying aloud the vachans associated wid each one of them. RK to pehle vachan me hi fail hogaya... which says he has to provide his wife with money...n wo toh pura bhikari banne ja rah hai...🤣 🤣 oh god...n he himself says ki khane pine k problem hojaegi..😆 RK kamane nai ja rahe ho...😲 khaoge kya fir? 😆 hawa??
N madhu says mujhe tumhare sath baar baar phere lene ka man kar raha hai...dis ws so hilarious...😆

Madhu beats RK when it comes to besharam dialogues.😉 No doubt about it. She is the one who initiates besharam conversation btwn dem. Pehle washroom wala dialogue, n aj blouse n peticoat 😳 ...oh god...ye biwi badi hi tez hai..😆
It was very cute husband-wife scene, wid biwi asking patidev to help her chose saree to wear in the sangeet ceremony...ptidev concedes..n song in BG 'husn k lakho rang'...😆 😆 AHAAN,,,,RK flirting with biwi...lagta hai CVs ko achanak se jhatka lag gaya hai about dis serial being a tribute to 100 years of cinema...tabhi evry sequence itna filmy...uff...

Biwi ne kholi halwai ki dukaan, RK ladoo hai, kachori hai, gulab janum hai(yaha thoda sweetness ka overdose hogaya) Oh god...RK is at his best wen biwi irritates him...
"Mujhe akdu, ziddi, handsome kuch bhi bolo but sweet mat bolo..."
The best dialogue of the day was, "kapde hamesha uski choice k pehno, jiski nazron me tumse khubsurat aur kuch bhi nai'...aww...
CVs sure knw how to keep up the romance, considering the physical intimacy constarints from both the leads...we still get to see wonderful episodes like 2day...kudos to the entire team..

Looks like Padmini brings out the best in Radha n she doesnt act like a dunce in front of her..is padmini actaully thinking balraj will repent n come back to her someday?? really? I can't believe her...wah re adarsh nari...

I am waiting for the sangeet ceremony...

From 'kachra, wo bhi sada hua' to 'sweetu, cutepie… blah blah'

I don't know what I prefer… the former which came out stronger than required or the later that sounded forced! Having thought about it for a moment, for me it is none!

I am not sure if I can complain… the couple are just having a happy moment… going with what they went through the previous day and the wedding preparations around. Somehow it didn't strike a chord may be because it didn't come across meaningful.

In comparison to the scene in the bedroom, the one by the lake was better. I hope the sangeet is better. I don't have the hopes high… knowing that the couple's favourite movie is Mr India and 'Maine Pyar Kiya' made its presence felt today… I am guessing 'Kaate nahi kat the…' will be the song. Will be surprised if they chose another song but I am hoping for that.

Finally, I get a chance to give a thumbs up for Radha. She did good to hear Padmini out and ease Padmini's apprehensions. Was disappointed with Padmini actually hoping(?!?!?) that Ballu will return and ask for forgiveness. Seriously, Padmini? Thank god that Radha's better sense prevailed and made Padmini realise she can never have anything to do with that monster.
