Episode 33

The Boxing Match😭😡

RM- The scene starts with our last scene. Chote and Anjali. He reaches for her hands and clasps them within his and says to her that there is not a day when he doesn't miss their parents but she is his family. She is everything to him and he will call her husband and tell him his crazy wife will not eat. She asks him please don't call him, he is always so busy. He leaves saying I will call him right now. Cut to Mami and Mamiji in their room. I never knew that Mami had a feeling that maybe Anjali's husband kept another woman. Interesting! Mami and Mamiji have jumped into the ring for a pre- match. She is asks her husband why do you think he has only called his wife once since he knows she has fainted. He may be busy, but what is more important than your wife? Would it be an obsession with another woman? She thinks maybe he has another woman. Hah! Hmmm'..😉

ASR gets a call, Miss Kushi wants to meet him. He whispers, Kushi. He had been preoccupied with his sister that he hadn't even thought about her today. But now, uh oh. 😕 "OK, send her in."

Ladies and Gentleman' The bell rings'the spectators roar'the opponents enter towards the ring. 😭😡

Kushi opens the door and on the opposite end of the living room stands ASR. They slowly walk to the ring, um, I mean the center of the living room, each of them eyeing their opponent. She seems to get a little nervous and while adjusting her shoulder strap of her bag she sees the scarred wrist. The scene from the guesthouse flashes before her eyes. This gives her courage to do what she has come here to do. She enters the ring.⭐️

Round 1.

He asks her if she is okay? First jab.

That's IT! Our Goddess comes out with all her Shakti and swings her right hook, "Why do you ask? Only you could have the audacity to ask such a question after all that has happened. She asks him a question and when he tries to answer she stops him right there. "Oh no, Mr. Raizada, today I will do the talking!" Left hook. Go , Goddess, go! End of Round 1. The winner Kushi! Crowd roars!!!👏⭐️

Round 2

Kushi continues with those jabs to the gut. "Since you are interested if I am alright, I am better now and in a few days I will be even better because I decided to quit your job." She hands him the resignation letter. He is silenced and another blow to the gut. He just looks at it and it looks like he may be preparing to strike. She takes it back. Before he starts talking about status again she continues with don't worry about his company, she worked diligently and will continue to do so. She reiterates her minute of review of the tedious duties she has done at ASR Designs. He had her correcting his name on a thousand letters with a pencil, jab, had her as a parking attendant in the pouring rain, jab, writing a report overnight and delivering it to him in the early morning hours before work, jab'. He looks away knowing she was right and he was wrong, right hook by Kushi! "I did it with no complaint, jab, because I knew we had a contract, jab'.but for me Kushi Kumari Gupta, my name, my identity is more important than any money in the world. Left hook! Round 2'the winner is Kushi!

Round 3 Silence'.he has absolutely nothing to say his eyes say it all. She is 100% right. "It was my responsibility to work hard during the contract and it was your right to to give me work. But you forgot, Arnav Singh Raizada, that with power comes great responsibility. The day you put away your responsibility was the day you lost your right and this contract became null and void!"

Punch square to the face.

Kushi shows signs of post traumatic stress syndrome and she saddens 😭as she remembers'."I was there all alone for such a long time; I had so much time to think and I finally found my solution to all my problems. DAMN YOU AND YOUR JOB!" Left hook to the jaw. "I do not want anything to do with a person who does not care about another person's life!" Right hook to the stomach. He is getting beat up, you see the anger trying to come to the surface so he can fight back but I think he is exhausted listening to the truth. "If we end this contract, this is not my defeat, instead YOU ARE THE LOSER! You have not even accepted your mistake. I have just come to tell you that this contract is worthless- null and void. My life is more important than this contract. The people who love me know this, (hmmm), my family knows this and no one who puts my life in danger and then asks me if I am okay so nonchalantly, knows his mistake or accepts it. So you listen, Mr. Raizada, I AM FINE'. NOT because of YOU but because all I have done is good and today the contract is concluded!"

KNOCK OUT! 🤢Arnav Singh Raizada flat on his back🤢 by one Kushi Kumari Gupta! ⭐️👏

In the background his family has gathered as spectators of this boxing match'mouths wide open. 😲

He shakily gets up off the floor takes a step forward towards her, she warily steps back, he says, "Are you done?" He accepts defeat and holds his hand out for the resignation letter. She answers, "I AM DONE and hands him her resignation!"👏

Nani calls out to Kushi who apologizes because she came to her home like that but it was something she was compelled to do. It was the right thing to do. Mami called her a cat turned tiger! Impressed. She stares at ASR, he looks away, she reminds him "Do not interpret my resignation as I accepted my defeat!" On the contrary she is the Champion here! She turns around and slowly walks out, this Champion knows she should feel elated she has won this Boxing Match but she just doesn't feel right. She too has been wounded in the ring. She looks back at him and walks out of the ring'..😕

Uncle Nahim runs out after Kushi and Kushi responds I don't have to obey his orders anymore I don't work for your boss. Anjali comes over to her and says these are not his orders, I wanted to talk with you. She tells Kushi no one has ever spoken to Arnav like that. Kushi responds," I know he is your brother, but the way he has behaved with me, I think I did what was right. " Anjali says she didn't come to judge but to tell her she is so courageous. Kushi lets her no she had no other choice but to be brave. She stepped into the ring prepared. Anjali responds with he is not that bad and maybe they have just misunderstood each other, (does she see something there between the two?). Anjali agrees that the guesthouse incident was a big mistake and Kushi has every reason to be upset. She apologizes on behalf of her brother. Kushi answers with," why are you apologizing the only people I bow my head to are my parents and the Goddess. I am not afraid of anyone!"😉

She leaves and on her way home Payal calls asking if all went well and if she is okay. Payal senses her sisters worry. Kushi reassures her she is okay and on her way home.

Shyam and Payal in the GH and she lets him know all went well but Kushi sounds worried. He reassures her he will take care of everything again. Payal asks about a job for Kushi and he is silent. Payal exits to the kitchen. Buaji talks to Shyam about his family and has he had marriage proposals. He says she is too old for him. They can talk about it later and he is worried for Kushi now. He is giving her a hint in my opinion. His concern is always for Kushi. He asks Payal what does she think and it looks as if Payal is stunned that someone has asked her opinion about something. She answers that she is worried for Kushi and she appears to be in a bad mood. Shyam answers with don't worry her mood will change, wait and see.

Kushi is walking home and ASR is in his room.

Back to the opponents, they are starting to train again, gloves on, hitting the punching bag.

He is staring at the resignation in his hand, he crumbles it and throws it on the floor; he pictures the beautiful girl in the red saree. Jab. Kushi envisions the parking lot rain embrace. Jab. ASR envisions himself pinning her up against the wall. Jab. Kushi envisions her pushing him. Jab. He envisions the same. Jab. ASR envisions himself carrying her out of the guesthouse. Jab. Both of them envision the handing over of the resignation. Jab, jab. ASR envisions her leaving the RM. (Knock out, in my opinion). Both of them have worried looks'.. Will there be a rematch?😕😕

👏 👏 👏 knocked out is me, cynthia. pink, bold, underlined are real powerful punches, just pink made sure i was enjoying the rounds. 😳. the boxing match is an inspired name and that mama mami getting into pre-match, many mwaahs. the last set of jabs seem to be self inflicted. the contenders still have no idea that all they want to do is lose, i guess.

really enjoyed your concept, style, little interpretations all across. it was a fantastic episode. again last night before sleeping off i wished someone would buy ipk and do it all over again, with that key matches between our players and the rest of the story as it should have been. some sequences have so much impact, hard to forget and strangely deep for a tv serial in the love you hate you category. sometimes it was the writing, but really it was what the performers did with the words and then added that secret ingredient which no one can describe exactly. intensity is a part of it, but there's so much more.

the exploration continues beautifully in 34. that "softly" is what it was. interesting, that in one of the most loud and audible episodes, softly did the hearts express.

Episode 34

Then Why Are You Not Happy?

Scene begins with Arnav carefully and lovingly pruning his plant as he rehears Kushi's words. Why is he reliving this? It is done... over...he should be relieved. "Then Why Are You Not Happy?" He hears her words clearly again and finally it gets too much, he picks up his potted plant and throws it on the ground. Anjali comes and says to his back, at least you have something in common with Kushi and that is anger. He turns around, looks at her and she continues with," but through your anger I see guilt." He tries to turn his back again, but she stops him saying that turning his back does not solve anything. She asks him what is it, what's on his mind? Is he wondering how Kushi got the courage to speak to him that way or is it that she didn't give him the chance to justify himself?"I know you are concerned, Kushi could have died. You want to apologize'" "Enough, Di!" He said. "I don't have to justify myself to anyone and I don't want to say anything to Kushi." The famous words then slip out of his mouth, "It doesn't matter to me." "Acha, oh really"'Anjali continues," then why are you nervous to talk about it." She is talking to his back again, the stance he takes when he is trying to hide his true feelings from her. She leaves but as she goes she feels dizzy. Arnav senses this, he turns and runs to her. The next dialogue shows the love of a brother for a sister. He tells her he has canceled all his meetings to be here for her and if she is going to be stubborn about fasting then so can he. He will take care of her and everything for the next fast and she can rest. He will handle it all'like he always has.

Kushi is walking home after handing in her resignation. She is saying to herself why do I feel like this? I should be happy then why do I feel so bad? After banging into someone and she has told them she is fine, she has to repeat these words again for the person (or herself) to believe them, "I AM FINE." "I am NOT fine. What is happening to me?" DM is working on you girl!!! The door is closed at the GH. Buaji sitting in living room Payal running to open the door Shyam saying in the background wait'ok. Payal opens the door to a bereft Kushi. "Are you ok? What happened?" Kushi starts, " I handed him the resignation and I fought well with him, but I don't know why'." CLANG'BANG coming from kitchen she goes to check it out. Her confession on halt. There before her eyes is a feast of all the foods that she likes. Shyam has prepared a banquet. Our Kushi would usually be jumping for joy and stuffing her favorite foods down her throat but no she is refrained, polite and definitely not herself. Then Why Are You Not Happy? Shyam tells her to forget her worries and that now she is in Lucknow eat everything made by her Shukla. Payal says to Kushi , "remember our summer holiday fun?" Shyam hands Kushi a dish saying "I know what you like." She takes it hesitantly. Her favorite golgappe pani puri is placed in her mouth by Payal. Payal senses her worry and Shyam tries to cheer her but nothing is really changing how she feels. Payal asks about ASR with her and Kushi tells her... he just listened to me. Our ASR just listened to her, he stood there and took in everything she gave him.

Shyam gets a phone call from a buddy and he congratulates him on his upcoming marriage. They have a discussion of love or arranged marriage and his friend say it is love. Pan to Shyam as he is staring at Kushi with a lovesick expression on his face while telling his friend how he knows love as well. "Love is the only thing that can make you forget about your responsibilities, relationships, promises and more'" Then Why Are You Not Happy? Has he forgotten someone because of love? Payal asks Kushi for her phone so she can call her parents saying Buaji worries about her phone bill.

Back at the RM in ASR room Uncle Rahim comes with the laundered clothes and hands ASR something found in his pocket of his suit. He hands him pearls from Kushi's dori.

Kushi's room in the GH, Kushi looking in her bag for her phone for Payal and pulls out ASR wish key.

Rabba Ve' They both are mesmerized and both of them holding on to the objects in their hands as if they are attached to the person they are thinking about unwillingly. They remember the incidents of the article held tightly, reverently in their hands, maybe feeling remorse or anger, maybe wanting a "do over". Why can they not stop thinking about each other? Why do they creep into each other's mind? "Kushi"'.."Arnav Singh Raizada" whispered from their lips. Then Why Are They Not Happy?

Payal comes in to the room asks whose key and grabs the phone. Anjali goes in to Arnav and says come eat. Quick conversation about fasting and Arnav wants to tattle on her again. Anjali asks him to have Lavanya fast for him then maybe Nani will change her mind about her. He looks at her with a "yeah right" kind of look and she scolds him. She talks about her husband and asks if he spoke to him. He will let me know when he comes to Delhi right? Anjali seems so worried that her husband should come, he is always gone, she fasts for him, does all a good wife should do, but she just seems uncertain' Then Why Are You Not Happy?

Nani and Anjali in Nani's room are having a conversation about Chote. Nani is so concerned that his past will affect his future and they must do something to change the way the current situation is going. She does not want him to ruin his life like his father did.

Back in Kushi's room she is saying "I can't stop thinking about him, I scolded him, I took out all my anger, but I still don't feel satisfied. I wish I met him again." Payal calls her crazy. She continues with there is so much more to say and explain about the fur coat, the food, the taxi. She says she told him only half the story'.Payal stops her saying. no! she prays to DM that Kushi will never have to see him again. Phone rings and its Papaji and Kushi tells him everything is fine and she quit. Payal takes the phone and repeats the same as she is looking at a very troubled Kushi.

Kushi's camera of her mind is flashing the scenes before her eyes of her fall into his arms at Sheesh Mahal, ASR saving her in the parking lot on that rainy day, ASR grabbing hold of her wrists and pinning her to the wall in the guesthouse' Questioning herself, she answers...yes, she has taken care of everything, put him in his place, handed in the resignation with her head held high, still trying to convince herself there is no need to meet him anymore'.She stops and asks herself one last question... Then Why Are You Not Happy?

Hi, indi52! Yes exactly...there was such a strong undercurrent of softness that could only be seen in the eyes...such brilliant acting on both parts, so much so that their body language exudes more emotion than the anger from the dialogue...

By the way, I love reading your posts, am usually a silent reader but this episode burst the dam for me!

EPISODE 29

Today's epi is all about other players to find the distressed condition of Knight and Queen and the causes of that while Knight and Queen are baffled about what did they play?How did they play? Where did they make mistakes?AND HOW THEY REACH AT THIS SO FAR? Beautiful 20 min of entertainment.👏

Episode starts at GH where Khushi is unconscious and and everyone is worried about her and waiting for Doctor. Shyam is showing extreme concerns mmm interesting. HE goes out for bringing doctor.

In RM Nani and Anjali is worried for Chote and the moment he enters they ask him,Is he OK as his condition is saying something different.He tells them he is fine and ready to move on when Nani wants to discuss the unfinished business and he stops them with his Hand sign.(Family Traditional sign)[This part is funny Arshi! Hand sign just like his Dadi! 🤣🤣] The moment they see the wound Anjali asks for first aid but he wants to be alone and does not want his Di to take care of this wound or a Sacred Scar.The moment he wants to leave, Nani asks him were you with La?He turns and says ,"If I wanted to meet her, I would" "But he had emergency so he left."

GH Shyam pulling the doctor in ghunda style and threatening him to save Khushi.It sems he cares about her way too much. Something is fishy. GH- The doctor has treated Kushi and Shyam asks his forgiveness, saying he was very worried. Buaji hears this and it gives her a new sense of direction a creepy one '..

In RM ASR is in his room.He stops and looks at the wound which has left a mark in his hand or I say in his brain and heart.The reel of scenes of Guest house start flashing infront of his eyes,her pushing,his holding her wrist, her tears, her falling into his arms,removing her hair, wiping her tears,.in other words every touch of her has left a Sacred Scar in him.Today he is not thinking about anything else but "Khushi" and the moments which he spent with her.Sacred Scar for life for eternity.

He sinks in his bed but still looking at small wound which has left a Mark in his brain and heart.He touches the wound as he is touching her feeling her.The wound indeed has left a deep Sacred Scar in his heart and brain today.Khushi's touch and Khushi's acts has indeed gave him a glimpse of TRUE character of Khushi and through this wound he was feeling guilt of his rash actions towards her (From Sheesh Mahal to guest house)

Arnav goes to Nani as she is not Done.Nani gesticulates him and questions him about what he does not want to talk about?.Anjali begs Nani for not pushing him.She knows her Chote and his Ghusa (anger)Nani softens and tells him she is his Nani and not enemy.She knows what is best for him and his family.ASR retaliates and jets with " Lekin khuch faisle insaan ko khud lene chaiyen , aache Ya burey''Kunke jalad bazi main liye gaya faisley khabi sahi nahi hote"(Some decisions must be made by the individual without thinking about good or bad because hasty decisions are never correct. )What hasty decisions he is talking about?The decision he took to send Khushi in Guest house or the hasty decision down the road has happened before which left a Sacred Scar or a Scar in his life which is making him realize today to reach to this decision that HASTY decisions are always wrong.(CONNECTION-Hasty decision of his parents to commit suicide which left him injured with an open wound and he got scarred for life)

Di insinuates and he responds "Di" "Main Abhi Khushi ke Mutalaq koi baat nahi karna chahta" (I don't want to talk about Khushi right now." ) Everyone get shocked as Khushi's name slips from him.He reticules of what he just said,rolls his eyes and realizes what just happened and mends his words "I mean Lavanya"

Nani interjects "Kia aap apne pyar ki khatir apne parivar ko Bhul jaye"Humka apse isse bhi ziyad zimadari ki umeed rahi hai"Aapke Amma aur Babuji ---(This is not simple you can't leave ur family for your Love.I expected you will be more responsible as compared to your parents.)

Chote interrupted "Nani please" I don't want to talk about it.

Nani,"Chote Anjali hum janat hain aap iss bare main baat karna pasand hani kart hain par sach chupane se chup nahi sakat hai.Yeh pyar naam ka jo shabat hai uka eik hi matlab hai barbadi"(I know you don't like talking about it but truth can't be hidden forever.Love only brings destruction.)

Mamiji rolls her eyes as Nani is talking about her as She is Mamaji's Love.[(Not Now Mamiji Nani is talking about someone else who did destroy marriage,family and may be some one's life.(Connection-Arnav's father who destroyed his family kids and pushed hes wife to suicide in another "woman's love" and then took his life)]

ASR responds ,Nani,"mere liye pyar koi mane nahi rakhta.Iss ehsas ki meri zindagi main koi jaga nahi hai kyuon ke main khud se ziyada kisi par bharosa nahi karta."(I don't believe in love.This emotion has no place in my life because I don't trust any one but me)PAUSE HERE KHUSHI's WORDS "aap ko apne ilawa koi dikhta hi nahi hai"(You just care about anybody but yourself.)Which hurted him like an arrow to his heart today.What a contrast ASR keeping an unseen WALL around him which makes him IMMUNE to these emotions as he thinks but Arnav inside of this WALL is so vulnerable to this beautiful emotion from all sides and gets hrt too if loved one says something or does something to Him.[Connection-Anjali says once "yeh jo arnav singh raizada wala kharoos sa chera laga ke rakha hai na tum ne uske pheche hum upne Chote ko Dekh Sakte hain and mehsoos kar sakte hain.Uski dil ki batain parh bhi sakte hain"( Behind this arrogant face of ASR I can not only see my Arnav my Chote,but also can read his mind and heart too,)]Same as Khushi. Today,Arnav was hurt.HE wanted to touch this emotion but stopped because of this WALL of ASR.( Connection-HE stopped himself abruptly in the moment when he was mesmerizing Khushi's innocence beauty)

Nani responds again "Its easy for you to say that but I know you have chosen a wrong gal for yourself , You have to leave her."

ASR "I am going to say something which you are not going to like at all.I will not leave Lavanya or marry her because I don't believe in marriage.I want to live life my way."There you go Today the family is getting this another round of HURT a Sacred Scar from this roaring Storm which was felt more towards Nani.

He left for his room.Every moment he spent with Khushi was reeling infront of him and causing pain,From rain to Model shoot,from Guest house to Gupta house, all these were hammering his head and nailing his heart to bleed.TODAY Khushi's pain is ASR pain physically ,emotionally and mentally.(They have become one under DM'rule of the game) just beautiful way of reversing the scenes.He gave her Sacred Scar of restlessness in the rain after wearing Red and he got Sacred Scar after taking her to Gupta house after the restlessness of Guest house.JUST WOW!!!!Hats off to the Makers.Pause here,He is longing on her thoughts by closing his fists becoz he is angry at himself that he cannot mend his actions from Sheesh Mahal till now)

Remorse ,contrition ,shame , and guilt was mixing with anguish feelings for one gal who he orders to stay away from him "Khushi" only KHUSHI.He is hurt because he wounded her,MARKED her ,Scarred her with his harsh words.(If Hee is a cause then He is a healer and same with her too)

Di who knows the "Sacred Scar ",the SCAR of past by which He is who he is now,comes in his room and breaks his distress feelings for Khushi and offers him food.He acts like a "Big Baby" and said,"No I don't want it,"I am not hungry".Just leave me alone for a while."She knows her Chote something is bothering him . She responds,"I know you are upset and I won't leave you and I know who are you thinking about".He reacts,"No.Di, "I am not thinking about Khushi".WOW Second time her name slips.He turns around and baffles about what just he did.His eyes and face disagrees with his painful heart and brain. Di says ,"Again Khushi." "What happened to her."She declares him if you are Stubborn then I am your sister ,"Either you eat or tell me what happened"😛

He takes the food from her and sits to eat.Sweet Di sits besides him and asks him to feed him.He agrees upon her wish.(HER DI IS WORLD TO HIM and te ONLY TRUST BOND he knows and abides by.)She constantly trying softly and gently so he can say what he is not ready for.She asks again but he just remains lost.He is still in between his old and new MARKS of his life and trying to assemble them.Di interrupts his wonderland and asks him about the taste of the vegetables and he says,"yes."Then for the sake of these vegetables tell me what happened."?"Don't you TRUST me."Bam! That one word is enough for him because this TRUST has shattered in million pieces for him in between these "Sacred Scars" of love and hate and now he can't have one for any one but his Di.He turns his puppy face towards his Di, His SUPPORT for life.

On other side GH Khushi while dreaming in her unconsciousness that ASR caressing her hair wakes up startled.Naheen (No) (They feel each other while they are not together just started today and Khushi's dreams always come true.Arnav always caresse her hair and puts them behind her ear.).Payal holds her hand to assure her she is safe.Payal her sister her SUPPORT for life.(Payal and Khushi can do anything for each other)Shyam asks,"Are you Ok."Khushi holds her head and dazed trying to put herself together.Buaji asks her,"Kia Sar main dard ho raha hai" (Is your head hurting?)Khushi turns towards Payal and asks her,"How did I get here.?"She does not remember anything.Payal,"HE brought you here."Guest house incident comes in her mind and she becomes too distressed.She looked at her wrist and becomes more upset.Payal noticed her anxiety and asks her,"Did he misbehaved you."Khushi ,"NO" and then tells the whole story.Khushi got "MARKED" for her life from today.

Shyam gets way too upset and says,"aapko us adami ke office kam par jana hi nahi chahiye.Jab hum sab jantain hain keh who aadmi kaisa hai to"(You must not work with him as WE ALL KNOW WHAT KIND OF PERSON HE IS."Wait a minute how do you know Mr Shyam What kind of person is he? mmm😕Buaji was so hilarious.She just want to rip ASR apart after hearing all this from Khushi.😊

Khushi wakes up from her nightmare and she is remembering all the scenes of Arnav how he saved her and brought to safety from the building to home and that made her restless and distressed.She is closing her fists for longing in Arnav thoughts.The thoughts of concerned, caring,protective, shielder,and above all a person with HEART were disturbing her.She started some feelings towards him.This scene speaks volume.She is mad at herself how could she do that , how could she trust him like that?She does not want to acknowledge as Arnav does not want to acknowledge as They both got MARKED(Sacred Scar) today for eternity.Jai Ho DM ki.

While Shyam is pampering Buaji and then "Bang".The sound comes from the kitchen and they all ran towards it.

really enjoyed your concept, style, little interpretations all across. it was a fantastic episode. again last night before sleeping off i wished someone would buy ipk and do it all over again, with that key matches between our players and the rest of the story as it should have been. some sequences have so much impact, hard to forget and strangely deep for a tv serial in the love you hate you category. sometimes it was the writing, but really it was what the performers did with the words and then added that secret ingredient which no one can describe exactly. intensity is a part of it, but there's so much more.

since you said, you want to hear me ramble 🤣, couldn't resist.

Indi thank you again for your critique. I do believe that someone should buy the rights to IPK I have dreams of it myself. I say that if I won the lottery I would make my own PH and do this again but like you said DEEP. I have to👏 Gul she really had a brilliant concept here. watching these episodes over I have seen so much more. Just love it!

Lavanya was not a gold digger just an airhead ...
