Part 54

"Kya? Agar Arjun ke lawyers ne bail ki appeal ki hai then make sure you don't let them win. I don't care how you do it' I want it done! Arjun ko kisi haal main bail nahi milni chahiye. He's to rot!" Maan roared as he paced back and forth in his cabin. Adi frowned and his eyes followed Maan. He didn't understand Maan's stubborn stance of keeping Geet out of this last round of her battle. If Geet could fight him till here, she could manage this as well. And wouldn't she feel betrayed if she was left out from all this? What was worse was Pammi and Pinky siding with Maan over this! Rubbing his temple with his forefinger and his thumb, Maan placed the phone back on its hook.

"Maan Sir, main aapki concern samajhta hoon. Arjun ke saamne aane se Geet ko takleef hogi. But jo ho raha hai woh bhi theek nahi hai. Geet ko yeh kabhi manzoor nahi hoga. Aur phir lawyer ne bhi toh kaha tha ki Geet ka court main aana zaroori hai." Adi argued with Maan for the 'n'th time. "Nahi Adi! This is not happening! Arjun ke saamne aane se Geet ko phir ek baar un yaadon se guzarna hoga and I am not allowing that!" Maan firmly replied and picking a file from the table walked out of the cabin leaving behind a frowning Adi.

"Kisi ne sach hi kaha hai kuava chota ho ya bada, hota humesha kala hi hai!" Geet rambled while Anu giggled. "Kya? Geet' Main yahan tumhe apni aur Sasha ki problem bata raha hoon aur tumhe kauve ke kale rang ki padi hai?" Vicky frowned while Anu tried hard to hold back from laughing out aloud. "Rehne de Geet' Vicky Veerji hai toh Maan Veerji ke chele na' dono ek jaise hi hai, Bhondu!" the girls laughed as Vicky clenched his teeth. "Tum dono ko mazak sooj raha hai?" he growled. "Un dono se kuch mat kahiye' woh bilkul sahi keh rahi hai" the trio turned to see Dadi Ma standing near the door with her hands folded and her gaze fixed on Vicky. "Dadi Ma aap? Aap kab aaye?" Vicky asked taken aback by Savitri Devi's presence. "Aap toh humse baat hi mat kijiye. Shak toh humme humesha se tha' lekin yakeen bhi tha ki aap aakar humme apne aur Sasha ke baare main batayenge. Lekin nahi! Humare pote hai hi nalayak!" Savitri Devi rued and moved to stand beside Geet. "Dadi Ma' woh main' main batane hi wala tha!" Vicky stuttered. "Acha? Kab bete?" Savitri Devi asked with a fake smile. "Sasha bhabhi ki shaadi ke baad Dadi ma" Anu replied, tongue-in-cheek only to earn a deadly glare from Vicky.

"Dadi Ma, humme chalna chahiye" Geet said looking at her watch. "Chalna chahiye? Kahan?" asked Vicky. "Aane ke baad aapko bata denge" Savitri Devi replied and with Geet and Anu in tow the three ladies stepped out of Vicky's cabin leaving behind a perplexed Vicky wondering what the three were upto. "Par Dadi Ma'" Vicky rushed after them a moment later.

"Par Dadi Ma' meri problem?" Vicky asked catching up and blocking the path of the three ladies. "Beta hum ache se jaante hain humme kya karna hai aur kab karna. Ab raasta chodiye" Savitri Devi replied pushing Vicky out of the way while the girls waved him bye with a huge grin on their faces.

"Dadi Ma sab theek toh ho jayega na?" Anu asked once they were seated inside the car. "Haan bete. Hum hai na. sab theek kar denge" Dadi Ma assured Anu. "Lekin agar ve log nahi maane toh?" Anu asked again. "Kyun nahi maanege? Aur phir Babaji bhi toh hai na humare saath" Geet spoke and placed a hand over Anu's. "Haan woh toh hai. Waise bhi ab Vicky Veerji ke pyar ki gaadi unhi ke haath main hai" Anu sighed.

-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

"Par main Geet ko call kyun karu?" Maan asked Vicky. "Ab aap nahi karenge toh aur kaun karega Veerji? After all Geet aapki mangetar hai" Vicky tried instigating Maan. "Yes! Something that I should not be the only one to remember" he replied irked. After Geet and Anu had left with Dadi Ma, Vicky had rushed to seek Maan's help to trace Geet. He had seen that resolute gleam in his Dadi ma's eyes and knew his Dadi ma was a strong willed woman. Knowing all, he would have been a fool if he could not have been able to guess that the sudden appearance of Dadi Ma and then the three women leaving hotel in a rush was something that concerned him and Sasha. But he knew Dadi Ma would not let him in and the only way left was to ask Maan to find out about Geet and then get on to what was going on in his Dadi Ma's head. But the cat and mouse game that Maan and Geet indulged in often, began its role the moment he told Maan about Geet being in hotel and then leaving without even letting him know of her presence. "Lekin Maan Veerji" Vicky tried to argue. "Lekin kya? Jab usne mujhe nahi bataya toh mai kyun call karke poochu? Besides woh Dadi ma aur Anu ke saath hai na. Toh bas' meri fikar kyun hogi usse?" Maan replied thinking of ways to get even with his Mishty at the first given opportunity. Vicky rolled his eyes, "Kitna bhaav kha rahe hain!" he said to himself. "Excuse me?" Maan asked indignantly hearing what Vicky said and the result was Vicky scurried away quickly. No sooner than Vicky left, Maan started pacing in his cabin wondering about Geet and then less than 5 minutes later he was waiting for her to receive his call.

"Geet, kahan ho tum? Tum yahan aayi thi aur mujhe bataya tak nahi? Ek baar mil ke toh ja sakti thi? Aur tum dadi Ma ke saath kya kar rahi ho?" Maan shot out a flurry of questions the moment his phone was answered but the reply that came in left him at the loss of words. "kyun bete, aapko bina bataye hum Geet ko nahi la sakte apne saath?" came in Savitri Devi's voice.

While they were just about to get out of the car, Geet's phone buzzed. Understanding who the caller was Savitri Devi was sure if she didn't intervene Maan would continue to bother Geet and once they got inside Sasha's place that won't help their cause. So instead, Savitri Devi took the phone from Geet's hand and answered it herself. "Nahi' nahi Dadi Ma' mera matlab woh nahi tha" Maan fumbled. "Achi tarah se jaante hain aapke matlab. Geet humare saath hai aur aapko unki fikar karne ki zaroorat nahi hai. Aur haan bete' aapko baar baar unhe call karne ki bhi zaroorat nahi hai" said that she disconnected the call while Geet pressed her lips trying to hide the embarrassment as Dadi Ma looked at her meaningfully throughout the conversation. She cussed Maan under her breath for putting her in awkward situations and Anu muffled her laughter while she tried to irritate Geet by nudging her more than once. Dadi Ma rolled her eyes while handing over the phone to her and said, "Shaadi se pehle ye haal hai' Shaadi ke baad na jaane kya hoga. Ab ya aap apna phone silent pe kar dijiye ya switch it off" Geet nodded her head obediently and Dadi Ma chuckled at her innocent response. Moving forward, Dadi Ma pressed the door bell of the house while Geet and Anu nervously looked at each other.

"Pinky puttar, Geet aur tere tickets aa gayi?" Pammi asked while she neatly folded some clothes and piled them onto one another at one corner of her bed. "Haan ji Ma. Aap fikar mat karo. Maine na wahan saara arrangement karva diye hain, humare jaanse se pehle wahan maid aakar cleaning bhi kar degi" Pinky replied. "Yeh acha kiya" Pammi sighed and sat on the bed. Pinky came by her side and placed a hand on her shoulder, "Geet ke jaane ke baad ghar kitna khaali ho jayega na Ma" said a forlorn Pinky. "Haan puttar. Lekin mujhe ek baat ki fikar aur bhi hai" Pammi replied. "Kya Ma?" Pinky asked. "Delhi wapis jaana Geet ke liye itna asaan nahi hoga" Pammi voiced her concern. She knew the last time Geet left Delhi, her whole world had toppled upside down and going back to the same place would only bring the spiteful memories back. "Aap fikar mat kijiye Ma, I promise main wahan Geet ka poora khayal rakhungi" Pinky assured her. Pammi smiled and nodded her head in agreement.

"Yes Mrs. Khurana, bataiye, what can we do for you" Sasha's dad Mr. Das asked once the three ladies settled in their seats. Mrs. Das sat beside Mr. Das completely awed by Savitri Devi's persona. "Mr. Das, I wouldn't like to go around the bush. I'm sure even you won't appreciate it." Savitri Devi replied graciously. Mr. Das nodded candidly. Savitri devi smiled, "I'm here to talk about your daughter Sasha and my grandson Vikram Khurana" Mr. Das turned to look at Sasha who stood at a little distance. "I don't think there's anything to talk about them Mrs. Khurana" Mr. Das replied bluntly. Geet and Anu were taken aback while Savitri Devi looked from Mr. Das to Sasha. Anu has never seen anyone being so reticent towards her Dadi ma and so she exchanged a worried look with Geet. Savitri Devi was however unperturbed. She got up and went to stand by Sasha. Placing a hand on her shoulder, she asked, "Do you love Vicky, bete?" Savitri Devi's voice was calm and supportive. "Mrs. Khurana, aap'" Mr. Das got up from the sofa and stepped towards Sasha but stopped mid-way when Savitri Devi raised her hand asking him to stop. "Jawab do bete. Kya aap Vicky ko pasand karti hain?" she asked Sasha again. Sasha shut her eyes for a moment and then nodded her head in agreement. "Sasha!" Mr. Das thundered while Savitri Devi's smile became vibrant. Turning back to Mr. & Mrs. Das, Savitri Devi came and sat back in her place. "I guess now we have something to talk about them" she said looking in Mr. Das's eyes. Mrs. Das gestured Mr. Das to sit and solve the matter. He sat down and with a frown replied, "I don't approve." The girls gasped.

-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

Vicky paced in his cabin. He didn't know what was going on but he had messaged Anu and Anu had confirmed his doubts that they were at Sasha's place. To say that he was tensed would be an understatement. He loved Sasha and he knew this surprise meeting would decide the course of his life from here on. He trusted Dadi Ma fully and was aware that she'll try her best but he wasn't sure about Mr. Das. He thought of calling up Anu but thought against it and plopped down in his chair with his head held in his hands.

-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

"Mr. Das, I respect your decision. Lekin kya hum aapke faisle ki wajah jaan sakte hain?" Savitri asked even as she made herself comfortable on the sofa giving a clear indication that she was not going anywhere without getting what she wanted. An enigma that Savitri Devi was, Geet couldn't help but relate the aristocratic trait she had always seen in Maan to Savitri Devi's poise conduct and confidence that emanated from her each move. She had no doubts that she was not the only one awed by the presence of this female.

"They are no match Savitri ji" Mr. Das replied. "And why do you say that?" Savitri Devi urged, "What about Vikram's career? My daughter will not marry a guy who lives off his family's fortune and has no identity of his own. And not to forget, Sasha is elder to Vikram. Poore 2 saal ka age difference hai dono main. How can I let my daughter marry a guy who's younger to her." he admitted anxiously. Geet went to stand by Sasha and held her hand knowing well how much the thought of losing your love could hurt. "Is that all, Mr. Das?" Savitri Devi asked. She didn't look least affected. Mr. and Mrs. Das stared at her in confusion. "Do you also have anything to share Mrs. Das?" Savitri Devi asked addressing Sasha's mom who didn't say a word but lowered her eyes.

"Mr. Das aapne mujhe do reasons diye aapke jawab ke liye. Lemme clear your misconceptions then. I agree Vicky is still trying to make something out of his life. Uska career settled nahi hai ab tak, but I'm sure Sasha would have told you that Vicky has worked for one of the best companies in States. And here, he's successfully handling the operations of our hotel business. So, Mr. Das your daughter's future is gonna be as secure in our house as mine. And mind it, it's my words to you! And rahi baat Sasha being elder to Vicky, if that's so much a matter to your concern, then don't mind if I may ask, if Mrs. Das and you have no age gap between you two? (dadi Ma looks at the couple and pauses momentarily) I didn't mean to negate your concerns Mr. Das but these are too superficial for me to let you ruin two lives. I request you Mr. Das don't do this to your own daughter, she doesn't deserve it." Savitri Devi earnestly requested.

"It's easy for you to say Savitri Ji. You have a social standing, no one will come and ask you a thing but we would have to answer. Answer to our families and the people of our community" Mr. Das said. Dadi Ma's eyes turned cold as she eyed the man in front of her. She looked at a dispirited Sasha and then at Mr. Das, "So that's what concerns you? Your community?" her calculated voice was sharp and the expression on Mr. Das' face confirmed that she had hit the nail. She let out a sigh before she began, "Shall I ask you Mr. Das which century you dwell in?" she taunted the man and Mr. Das looked back indignant but Savitri Devi was undeterred, "You choose your community's views over your daughter's happiness?" her words were an accusation.

"We are a part of the community Savitriji, we can't ignore them" Mrs. Das said for the first time. "What is the guarantee Mrs. Das your daughter will be happy if she's married to someone of your community?" she asked. "Savitri ji that's not the point, the point is we'll become a laughing stock. Never in our family has anyone married outside our own community. People are going to say that I married my daughter off to someone outside our caste' to a guy who's younger than her only because he hails from an influential family. Not only will I be breaking the norms but also be tagged as a gold digger!" he finished heatedly. Savitri Devi's patience was quickly swaying away, "This is ridiculous!" she muttered to herself but then calmed herself for Vicky and Sasha's sake. "Mr. Das, I'm sorry but your views neither match the image of a man who encourages his daughter to be able to fend for herself and neither does it suit you. Mr. Das, I agree hum different communities ko belong karte hain. Bacho ke liye ek dusre ke saath adjust karna shayad thoda mushkil bhi hoga but why are you forgetting that they have known each other for long enough to judge their compatibility. Pyar karte hain yeh dono ek dusre se. You think they can ever be happy if they are married off to people of respective castes. This is preposterous and things of days gone by. Relatives and acquaintances ka kya hai? Shaadi main aayenge, khaana khayenge, couple ko congratulate karenge aur ghar chale jayenge. Then what? Who will have to bear the brunt of this sort of marriage? And wouldn't you become a laughing stock to yourself if God forbid your daughter gets stuck in a loveless marriage?" Savitri Devi's tone was blunt and her arguments picked up intensity as she went on. "You are being idealistic!" Mr. Das replied. "On the contrary, I'm being practical!" countered Savitri Devi.

Mr. Das was about to react when Mrs. Das intervened and the couple excused themselves to have a small talk. Savitri Devi smiled, she knew she had won' not that she ever lost! She walked over to Sasha, cupped her face and kissed her forehead, "Welcome to Khurana's bete". The determined glow and the confident smile, turned infectious and the girls found themselves smiling too. A while later when Mr and Mrs Das appeared from the room, they confirmed what Savitri Devi already knew. It was a yes! Geet thanked Babaji while Anu jumped in joy and Sasha simply hugged Dadi ma and thanked her.

-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

"Vicky Veerjiii" Anu squealed on the phone just as her phone was answered on the first ring. Smiling dearly, Vicky held the phone at a little distance waiting for Anu to calm. Certainly, he knew the outcome of Dadi Ma's sudden visit as Sasha had called him the moment Dadi Ma left her house. "Congratulations Veerji' ab Maan Veerji ke saath aapki bhi band bajne wali hai" Anu chimed and Geet who was sitting next to her elbowed her to which Anu stuck her tongue out while Dadi Ma chuckled. "Haan haan Veerji' Dadi Ma humare saath hi hain aur aaj apko aur Maan Veerji ko ghar jaldi aane ko kaha hai... (pause) ab yeh toh aapko ghar aane par hi pata chalega" she said tongue in cheek and disconnected the call, giggling.

Savitri Devi smiled and turned towards the window. She sent a silent prayer upwards thanking God for giving back happiness to her kids. If you would ask her, she considered Geet a lucky charm in their lives. She taught Maan to love and live. And when she was not around, things went haywire for the whole clan. She turned to look at Geet who was laughing over one of Anu's silly joke and pondered how even after bearing so much herself the girl held no grudge towards her life and the people she called her own' especially Maan. She smiled, turned back and wished for this happiness to stay with them forever.

-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

Maan sat in his office, sulking when his phone buzzed again, the third time. Huffing, he checked the caller id and for the third time in a row, cut the call and banged it down on the desk. And then a couple of seconds later, it beeped again but this there was a message, he smiled to himself, "Zaroor sorry kehne ko message kiya hai" he murmured to himself haughtily but then the contents of the message made him frown immediately. "That's hatrick! Teen baar mera phone kaata aapne! Agar aapko mujhse baat nahi karni toh main bhi aapse baat karne ko mari nahi ja rahi! Dekh rahe hain' Babaji sab dekh rahe hain! Haina Babaji?" after reading the contents he found himself looking at the ceiling of his cabin. "Yeh message mere liye tha ya Babaji ke liye?" he grumbled and punched the dial button on his phone ready to get into an duel which he was sure was going to follow. But a moment later found himself looking at the phone dumbfounded, "Switched Off!" he muttered. Gasping he banged the phone back on the desk.

-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

Holding her tummy, Anu laughed as Geet grumbled and complained. "Tujhe badi hasi aa rahi hai" she rebuked and Anu tried to hold herself up. "aur nahi toh kya? Mere bechare Veerji' kabhi Lion King ki tarah ghooma karte the aur aaj dekh' tune unko bechare Tom ki tarah bana diya hai" she giggled again. "Oh! Hello! Na woh koi bheegi billi hai na hi bechare' dekha nahi tune kaise nakhre dikha rahe hai. Ab kya maine Dadi ma ko phone diya tha? Nahi na? Toh phir? Jab dekho mujh pe bhadak te rehte hain" she moaned. Anu laughed yet again. "Oh I am so gonna enjoy this Tom and Jerry game" she said and Geet passed her a stern glance which had Anu in splits.

Geet was supposed to leave for Delhi the next day and so after dropping Dadi Ma, the girls decided to spend some time chatting. A while later, they sat in one of the nearby cafes and Geet tried to call Maan who kept disconnecting it. This angered Geet and Anu was having real fun looking at the whole scene in front of her.

Anu's infectious laughter soon caught up with Geet and she chuckled along. "Anu" Geet called tenderly and Anu was caught by the purposeful tone of her speech. "Dekhna Anu' time kitni jaldi beet gaya. Meri aur Maan ki baat shaadi tak aa gayi. Vicky aur Sasha ki sagai bhi jaldi hi ho jayegi" Geet started.

Anu smiled, "Haan, mere dono Veerji ki shaadi hone wali hai. Bas Dev Veerji ke baare main soch ke bura lagta hai. I hope woh bhi apni zindagi main jaldi aage bad jaye". Geet kept her hand over Anu's, "Aur tu?" Anu took a deep breath and drew her hand away, "Do we have to talk about this again?" she complained. Geet shook her hand, "You promised to try" she reminded her. "It's not easy Geet" Anu said. "I know (Geet said sighing and then added) but Yash is a nice guy" Geet said looking at Anu's expressions intently. Anu snapped her head towards her, "That's so not fair Geet. I've a tainted past' I don't love him' I can't spoil his life and give him false hopes" Anu protested. Geet smiled, the concern for Yash in Anu's protest didn't go unnoticed. "May be you don't love him yet, but you do like him. And he loves you Anu" Geet said. Anu looked at her astounded. "What! Don't give me that look! He might have not told you yet but Anu I presume you aren't so dumb now, are you?" Geet asked. "Geet'" Anu started but Geet stopped her, "Ek baat batao?" she asked and Anu frowned wondering what was coming. Geet sighed, "I won't be able to tell you when he exactly fell in love with you but I know one thing for sure Anu, that he admired you since you had just begun college. Yash mera dost hai' jaanti hoon usse main. Kai baar I nudged him to confess but he dismissed it saying I was imagining things. But then Arjun came along and he suppressed his feelings for your happiness. Tujhe kya lagta hai? Why is he here still? Why he went along with your wishes? He cares for you Anu" Geet finished and Anu was flabbergasted. Slight tears started to form at the end of Anu's eyes and Geet inhaled sharply and shook her head for a no. Anu shut her eyes and composed herself. "Aisa sochne ki koshish kar ki ek dost ke saath zindagi ka pehla kadam bada rahi hai. Trust me Anu, life won't disappoint you again" Geet finished with a smile and a thoughtful Anu nodded in agreement.

-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

Vicky sat in Maan's office discussing a client noticing how edgy Maan was. He had come in to actually tell him about himself and Sasha but a grumpy Maan had shooted work orders to the poor bro. Knowing exactly well that Geet and Maan were at it again, courtesy Anu's short meeting to congratulate him, he laughed inwardly and went along with the flow.

"Veerji, phone ki taraf mat dekho' phone nahi aane wala" Vicky said when he noticed Maan passing a fleeting glance towards his phone every two minutes. Maan squinted his eyes at Vicky, "And how can you say that?" he asked suspiciously. Vicky shrugged, drew something out of his pocket and placed it on the table in front of Maan. Maan's jaws dropped, "Geet ka cell?" he asked incredulously. "Anu dropped it with me to pass it on to you. Usne kaha Geet ne isse aapko dene ke liye kaha hai aur message bhi diya hai, kaha hai ap chahe toh isse pani main phenk sakte hain" Maan snapped his head at Vicky who made an innocent face, "Maine kya kiya? Mujhe aise kyun dekh rahe ho jaise kha jaaoge? Bhookh lagi ho toh kuch restaurant se order kar deta hoon na" Maan let out a frustrated sigh, "That's not funny" Vicky grinned and blinked, "I know' par aap dono ki ladayi bohut funny hoti hai. Geet is awesome in finding ways to get back at you. Kahan se dhunda aapne usse?" he finished pretending to be serious. Maan squinted his eyes, "Vicky! I warn you stop gambling on your luck!" Vicky stifled a laugh, "Ae lo Veerji, ek toh aap dono ke liye main messenger bana ghoom raha hoon aur uske liye no thank you!" Maan gritted his teeth and passed him a warning glare. "Ok Ok! Peace!" He raised his hand in truce and getting up from his chair, he went towards the door. He twisted the latch to unlock the door but then turned around, "Veerji'." Maan looked at him in irritation, "Get out Vicky!" he said. Vicky smiled, "Fine' main toh aapko sirf yeh bata raha tha ki BHABHI aapka kahan wait kar rahi hain. Nahi jaan na toh koi baat nahi' aapki marzi" said that he turned towards the door smiling and was about to pull the door open when Maan called, "Vicky wait!" Maan rose from his chair and rushed to Vicky.

A dramatic Vicky started his melodrama, "Nahi Veerji' main ja raha hoon' door nahi bas apne cabin main' but that's besides the point' par main samajh gaya hoon Veerji' aapka waqt bohut keemti hai' I promise you Veerji, main apni faltu baton se usse kharab nahi karunga" he finished. Maan crossed his arms and waited for Vicky to finish and said sweetly, "That's the hazard of spending too much time with Geet and Anu together, you had to loose your mind. Aaj kal tujhe samajh nahi aata kaunsi cheez teri sehat ke liye hanikarak ho sakti hai" Vicky gulped in hard, looking at the expression on his Veerji's face, "Ab tu batayega Geet kahan hai ya you want me to demonstrate a few of my work out moves on you, taki tera deemag thikane aa jaye?" Maan finished, placing his hand firmly over Vicky's shoulder and pressing down hard warningly. "Err' bata ta hoon na' bata hi raha hoon" Vicky cowered.

-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

15 minutes later, Maan was strolling along the beach looking around for Geet. "Phone bhi mere pass hai. Ye ladki bhi na' mujhe satane ka ek mauka nahi chodti. I was supposed to be angry with her and now I'm the one looking around. Kahin mujhe der toh nahi ho gayi... Kaise pata karu ab?" Maan rued. "Dhundne se toh Baba ji bhi mil jaate hain, main toh phir bhi ek insaan hoon" came in the grumpy response to his self-talk and when he turned around, he saw Geet standing with her hand placed on her hip, frowning at him. The soft breeze from the evening ocean currents blew in her hair and her dupatta twisted around her neck, blew towards the direction of the ocean. The sun on the horizon adding a subtle golden hued silhouette to her posture and despite himself, Maan calmed instantly drinking in the beauty of her aura.

His trance was broken when she poked a finger in his shoulder, "Apne bataya nahin aap yahan kyun aaye? Phone pe toh baat karne se mana kar diya tha" she complained and turned to walk away. "Mujhe, Maan Singh Khurana ko attitude dikha rahi ho? Woh bhi galti karne ke baad?" Maan asked following her trail. "Maine kya galti ki? Dadi Ma ne mera phone liya toh yeh meri galti?" she countered looking over her shoulder but maintaining her stride. "Acha? Subah hotel aayi thi aur milna toh door, ek message tak karna zaroori nahi samjha?" he retorted. "Maan, abhi na humari shaadi hui nahi hai.. hone wali hai' husbands jaise behave mat karo" she defied. He held her upper arm, broke her gait and turned her to face him, "Acha toh ab tumhe mere behavior se bhi problem hai" he leaned towards her in a threatening manner. She placed a finger on his chest and pushed him back, "Haan hai' aapke is Main, Maan-the-majestic-and-imperial-singh-khurana hoon, is attitude se problem hai" she said in a go. "Geet!!!" he towered her with his hands on his waist. "Aur nahi toh kya? Subah nahi mil saki toh phone kar rahi thi na' par nahi' aap toh bas apni unchi garden pakad ke baithe rahenge" she winced plopped herself down on the sand bed, folding her legs. Maan rolled his eyes as she continued, "Kya zaroorat thi aane ki? Kal toh main Delhi jaa hi rahi hoon' kyun karenge aap mujhse baat' aapko kya farak padta hai?" she trailed as her voice became heavier.

At once alert, Maan frowned at the change of tone and bend down to look at her just as a tear drop fell from her eye. "Geet!" he immediately settled himself beside her. "Kya hua Geet' Geet, I'm sorry' tum jaanti ho na main bina soche samjhe kuch bhi kar deta hoon" he quickly asserted to compose her and then held her face to make her look at him. Geet readily came into his arms and hugged him tight as if holding onto her dear life. "Kya hua Geet?" he asked tenderly, taking her in his arms and stroking her back. "Main kal Delhi wapis ja rahi hoon" she mumbled in his chest. "Haan toh? Tumhare exams hain. Jaana toh padega na" he cooed. "Mujhe dar lagta hai" she said separating herself from Maan and looking in his eyes. "Dar kaisa Geet?" Maan cupped her face. She sniffed and inhaled deeply, placing her hand on Maan's on her cheek, Geet said, "Maan' pehli baar aap mujhse door gaye the toh'" Geet couldn't finish and looked away. Maan inhaled sharply as he understood here unsaid insecurities and turned her face again to face him, "Look at me Geet" he said, determination and firmness laced his voice. "You have to let go the past Geet" he said and she looked at him, befuddled. He continued, "Aise kya dekh rahi ho Geet? Kya galat kaha maine? Tum Anu ko samjhati ho na? Aur khud beete hue kal main aaj bhi khud ko uljhaye rakha hai?" he asked. "Maan'" she began to present her side of story but he stopped her, placing a finger on her lips. "Kuch kehne ki zaroorat nahi hai Geet. Tumhe darr hai na ki phir kuch' (he stopped unable to finish)' bharosa rakho mujh par Geet' ek baar galti kar chuka hoon main. Dobara nahi karunga. Tumhe akela chodne ki galati nahi karunga Geet' I won't let you down. Koi Arjun ab dobara tumhe mujhse door nahi karega' kabhi nahi!" he finished taking her hand in his. She nodded her head in compliance and he pulled her in his arms again. She smiled and so did he.

"Waise Babaji dekha na aapne, kis tarah se aapki yeh Geet baton ko badal deti hai?" he asked imitating her. She separated herself and looked at him wearing a small frown. "Main baton ko ghumati hoon? Aur aap kya? Naak dekhi hai kabhi' Maano Asman ko chune ki taiyari main hain!" she countered wiping her tears with the back of her hand. "Acha, abhi abhi ro rahi thi aur ab dekho' chahe kuch bhi ho jaaye' mujhse jhagda karne se baaz nahi aati tum" he said pinching her nose. She stuck out her tongue at him and they both shared a comfortable laughter.

Chatting casually, they strolled to their spot on the rocks, a little away from the crowded end of the beach, where she sat comfortably in his arms and they both enjoyed the sunset in peace. "Geet, you realize jab next time hum yun beach par sunset dekhenge you would be mine" he said placing his chin on her shoulder. She smiled, cupped his face and turning to him said, "Next time matlab? Main toh aapki hi hoon Maan" she said. Maan smiled and leaning forward kissed her forehead, "Jaanta hoon. Lekin you know what I mean" he said coming closer. "Maan!" she said putting some distance between them. "Kya hua? Tumne hi toh kaha tum meri ho" he said smiling meaningfully and leaning in further. "Besharam hain aap!" she reproached. He locked her in his arms, barring her to move away and said, "Arre agar sharam ki toh jo socha hai woh kaise poora hoga?" he said feigning to be grave. "Acha, aisa kya socha hai?" she squinted her eyes, knowing well he was upto some mischief. "Yehi ki shaadi ke baad mujhe meri khud ki ek cricket team chahiye! I want 11 kids!" he said, smirking at her widening eyes, holding her tight while her eyes grew wide. "11 bache! Pagal ho gaye ho' Maan'" and before she could say anything more, he sealed her lips with his, embracing her in the moment of bliss as the sun melted in the ocean waters in the background

Kisi ne jabse yeh khabar hai sunayi,

To kano mein humare gunji hain shehnai,

Yehi charchey hai sab taraf mere bhai,

Ki aaj milegi hume prasad ki mithai.

Toh humne bhi iss taraf hai apni bebas aankhe bichayi,

Kyun ki humare naseeb aayi sirf aapke haathon ki mithai O meri halwai.

😆😆😆

Flawless update
Just loved it
😊

Bada n chota kauva
love ke mamle mein anaadi😆
Bolti band

Daadi is so cool
Handled the whole situation with calm n collected approach
Mr Das😲 couldn't hold ground

Indeed Geet is the lucky charm
Her magic is contagious😳
The way she convinced Anu to give a chance to Yash n her relationship

Maan was the best
poor thing nowadays all have fun on his cost😆
Mere bechare Veerji' kabhi Lion King ki tarah ghooma karte the aur aaj dekh' tune unko bechare Tom ki tarah bana diya hai" she giggled again.
🤣 🤣 🤣

Seriously Geet can make The MSK do anything in a jiffy😉

Loved their moments
n Geet confiding her fears in him
She may put up a brave front for all but
only Maan's presence brings out her vulnerable self

Its Her Maan's arms where she feels safe n finds her solace😳

Cricket team😉☺️

Continue soon
😃

Bade jaap jatan,
yat, yatan,
Aur hom hawan,
karne ke baad, hume Rajkumari 54 ka jo darshan hua hai uske liye hum aapke bade hi shukra guzar hai. Aur toh aur hum rajkumari ki lambai dekh ke bhi ati prasanna hue. Aur agli baar woh jab phir aayengi tab to woh 55 ban jayeng, tab woh apne rajkuamr ke saath ayengi aur hume dekhne ko milegi Mr & Mrs 55 ki milakar bani aur bhi lambi jodi, jo Gurudutt aur Madhubala ji ko piche chod degi.😉

To abhi mukhya samacharon ki taraf badhte hai.
Please pardon this hindi mein english and english mein english wala mere jaisa thoda pagal thoda jyada shana comment.😛

Toh shuruat hui meri confusion se.
Main soch rahi thi yeh Arjun ke lawyers usse bali kyun chadana chate hain, aur agar woh log usko nar bali chadana bhi chahte hain toh yeh humara singham unhe kyun rokne ki koshish kar raha hai. Mujhe turant pata chala ki mere dimag mein kuch kaala hain, toh maine phirse woh para padha. Aur meri tubelight jhappak bolke ishtart hui. Arey yeh toh bail bol raha hain.
To yeh tha mere dimag ka hindi to Eng conphoosjan.😆

Ab agey.

Adi ne usse kitna samzhaya,
Toh badle mein Singham gurraya,
Padhne na doonga uss zalim ka meri Geet pe saaya.😡

Aur main sochte rah gayi, ab yeh hai greek alphabet ke pehle akshar wala mard ,a.k.a Alpha Male.😆

Agey padhte padhte tere kuava wale typo se phir conphoos ho gayi,
Main soch mein pad gayi, Kya kuva sahi mein kaala hota hai, phir socha shayad haan andar jhankne se paani toh kaala hi dikta hai, isliye soni ne aisa lika hoga. Par phir anu ke comment se tubelight phir jaal gayi, arey yeh to crow wale kavve ki baat kar rahi hai. Jai ho hindi to english ki.😆

Dadi Geet aur Anu, teen deviyan, nikli bhakt Vicky ka uddhar karne. Bhakt dakre gaya bade bhai ke paas jo ki khana khane mein vyast the. Vicky ke mutabik woh bhaav kha rahe the.

Maan sunane wale the Geet ko Raag sulky,
Ulta pada pasa jab unke kaano mein padi dadi ki dhamki.😆

Oye teri Geet Pinky Delhi jaa rahe hain,
Aur mujhe Bombay to Delhi uss Nar Bali ki badbu aa rahi hain.😡

Marathi mein macchar ko Das kehte hain.😃
Aur Mr aur Mrs macchar kya bhin bhina rahe the. iSS vihsai se uss vishai par baith rahe the. Par jab sahi vishai par baithe to huamri pehli Devi yani Dadi ne kachu chap roop dharan kiya aur mr aur mrs macchar ko apne thikane laga diya. Dadi aap dhanya ho.👏

Maan was playing Raag sulky all by himself, and even managed to score a hatrick against Geet, par usne bhi kacchi goliya nahi kheli hai. Switched off. Maan you are clean bowled.

According to Anu Geet has become ringmaster. Arey Singham ko meow jo bolna sikha rahi hai.😆
Geet ne Yash ka bhanda phoda, aur Anu ki batti jalayi.
Bhaad mein jaaye woh nar bali Anu, from now on live a Yashful life. You deserve it.😉

Maan dikhaying atti,
Geet padhaying usse patti.

Geet ne aansoo tapkaya toh Maan ka dil bola, tumhare ek aansoon ki kimat tum kya jano Geet.😭
Phir woh garaz utha, hai koi mai ka laal, toh aake dikhaye hum dono ke bich.😡
Geet ki behti dhara ka the end ho gaya.

Geet bacchi, cricket team ke liye abhi razi ho jaa, jab waqt ayega tab bata dena, ek aur ek gyarah hote hain, isliye hum do humare do.😳

Vishesh tippani wale samchar ab samapt hue.
Dhanyavad.
