Beautiful and talented Urvashi Dholakia emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss Season 6 (Colors) and Imam Siqqiqui stood the first runner up. However, the gracious lady believes that this entertainer, Imam, is the true winner of Bigg Boss alag che season. Reason? She believes Imam added the necessary spice in the show.
We at Tellychakkar.com spoke to this very lady about her victory and future plans.
The moment we congratulated her she said, "It was unexpected and I am very happy." When we told her that somewhere down the line she must have known that she could be the winner for the previous two seasons saw TV faces (females) as winners, she quickly averred, "The only clear indication that I was getting while I was standing beside Imam was that this is an alag che season and anything can happen. Especially, because nothing had worked for me in the show, people did not like my attitude initially but then I stayed the way I am. I cannot fake myself."
Were the others faking it? "I don't' know that. I got to know them the way they expressed themselves in the house so, I do not know if that was fake or real."
When asked if Rajev Paul was trying to get publicity out of the entire divorce angle with ex-wife Delnaaz Irani she stated, "It was their personal matter. I had told them that I will not interfere in their personal matters. They decided to come on the show and I have nothing to say about it." But then you did try explaining things to Delnaaz? "As a woman, not as a friend as how many times I've met her outside the house she has always wished that she was as strong as me. So, I told her that she has to create that feeling within herself. One has to help him or her for others to help them."
Which of your traits do you think did the audience identify with? "To be honest I think all credit goes to them. If they had not accepted me since 2000 I wouldn't have been her. Then people knew me for the characters I used to play and later they got to know me as a comedian. But then I think they wanted to know the real me and that is what they got to know in the show. I think someone (Imam) commented about me being a celebrity all my life let me tell you that I have always underestimated myself as it keeps me grounded."
When asked about her link-up with Niketan Madhok in the house she said, "The hand incident happened when I just asked him to press my hand as it was hurting. If you know I was the official dhoban in the house. I used to wash everyone's blanket. So, I just asked Niketan to press my hand. As far as something between us is concerned he is a fantastic person according to me. And, I am 34 and will be 35 in July and just getting my hand pressed if someone can get into a relationship, then I would have had many. In fact, Rajev gave me a back massage in the house. Nobody linked me with him?"
When asked what she is planning to do with the prize money she said, "I do not know I have never earned so much money together. But, it's definitely for my children."
Will you be in touch with Imam? "Definitely yes, as Imam is a winner for me. He troubled us but that helped him reach the finale so that is a victory."
Lastly we asked her about her future plans and she said, "Everybody hopes for good work and I will be looking forward to the same. Someone in an interview I told thatBigg Boss winners do not get good work. This is Alag Che and I will break the perception."
