Followers of the show believed Imam deserved to win
Indian reality TV show Bigg Boss 6 may have ended crowning television actress Urvashi Dholakia as its winner, but the controversy may have only just begun.
This website has received an overwhelming number of responses from fans who are disappointed with the winner.
Urvashi took home prize money of Dh335,403 and a glittering trophy , but for many ardent followers of the show, image consultant Imam Siddiqui deserved to win.
"The only person who truly deserves to win the show is Imam. He is just awesome and totally talented and deserves to win the show," said Emirates 24|7 reader Ricky.
Imam often resorted to such tactics which made him unpopular in the house, but garnered him recognition as a true entertainer. He won Dh67,020 for being the Best Entertainer.
Sam who is also fan of the reality show said, "What rubbish! Most deserving would have been Delnaaz or even Imam. He was an entertainer and I still can't believe two faced Urvashi won!"
Imam was famous for his absurd clothing and make-up. He had a collection of colourful wigs and masks which he used to irritate other housemates.
Ameene Kodabux said, "I am of opinion that Imam should be the winner as every day he has a new style in the show."
Often seen having tiffs with the housemates, Imam seldom spoke politely which angered another contestants Rajev Paul. The two had major spats several times.
Surendra Kumar Sharma writes in: "Imam is a hero of big boss because he was a genuine entertainer! Rajev Paul is India's biggest cheater."
On the day of the grand finale only four contestants were left in the house.
Along with Imam and Urvashi item girl and host Salman Khan's favourite Sana Khan and model Niketan Madhok.
When the contestants were asked who they think should win the show all of them believed that anyone except Imam deserved to win.
However this was not the opinion of his fans.
"Imam was the winner all the way! Gem of a person we love him to bits all others fake, and do not deserve to remain till the end," said Zainab.
