The Next Show Joining Reality Bandwagon Is " Fear Factor Pakistan"

It was high time the Pakistani media jumped on to the reality show bandwagon. We have had reality shows on various channels but none of them except 'Nachle', the dance reality show has been executed well. 'Sur Kshetra', the singing reality show between Indian and Pakistani contestants too has been popular because it was set up with the support of Indian television gurus who are known for their well scripted and executed television reality shows. Surprisingly, the newest reality show to come our way is neither related to dancing or singing; neither does it revolve around city girls making a fool of themselves in the suburbs. This time, the contestants will be showing how brave they are with the famous show titled 'Fear Factor'. Well-reputed Pakistani actor/model, Ahsan Khan is now moving onto reality shows, as he will be hosting the Pakistani version of this famous show. Many other renowned names which include, Mehwish Hayat, Zeba Ali, Sana Askari, Madiha and Ayesha amongst many others will be participating in it. According to media reports, Ahsan is in Thailand right now for the shooting of the show which will be aired on a local TV channel but the airing date hasn't been announced yet. Although the news of having Fear Factor Pakistan was very exciting, I do wonder why Ahsan Khan was chosen to be the host. He certainly is good looking, an established actor and well-known and respected in Lollywood but his boyish charms do not make him a good choice for the reality show that requires raw energy and ruggedness. Hopefully this show will be a refreshing change from all the reality shows floating around on our television channels and will give the audience something to look out for every week.
