here is the..

PART 8

Maan just left the room getting frustrated at the happenings n his life...he got another shock listening to the talks of his family...

pammi was really agitated...she somehow wanted to break this alliance...she didn't wanted to let go her dream of years so easily..."pari..maan should divorce this girl... we know the handa's are doing this for money...this girl will destroy our family..she is not made for maan... and maan and sanjana love each other..."she couldn't find another reason to convince them...

"haan didi, don't worry... we'll not let this girl live in our house.!!!

suniye ji...i think didi is saying right...we should do this only..."

"nahi pari..."raj announced..

"but why..."pari asked, the whole family was confused at his statement...

"pari, elections are on its way..so.."he stopped, trying to explain the situation to them...

"so what..!!! dad..."though he somewhat understood...but his heart wanted another reason for his father's denial over this divorce... he has always taken his father as an ideal.. who always kept relations over money.. and may be even himself, but guess what raj has became a complete politician.. who in the race of politics, himself forgot the values he instilled in his kids.. now relations are on the backfoot for him..

"maan.. this marriage will help me so much in the elections..this had made an amazing impressions on youngsters mind.. that I have supported love over anything else.." maan closed his eyes not able to believe.. raj continued.. not knowing he was loosing his position in front of his son..may be his respect also.. "now the divorce talks will gain a negative response in the people's mind...you can divorce her after 3-4 months...when the elections would be over...till then atleast u all will have to treat her as khurana's bahu even if we don't want..no one should know that i didn't know about this marriage"

Maan just left from there dejected...whole family agreed unwantingly as his was the last word for them...

He went to the garden pondering on his life and the people around him...his family..his loved ones...though may be he himself didn't wanted to divorce geet but still his father's reason wasn't justified.. it was like a small boy was forced to face the harsh reality who always believed that he will be the first and foremost priority for his parents.. unknown tears made way out of his eyes...

annie who had followed him in the garden wiped his tears...

"what happened big bro.!!!"

"nothing annie..."

"come on bhai... batao na.. pleasee"she pouted...she kept her head on his shoulder... "jaldi bolo na..please..!!!"

"annie..i don't support dad's decision..."

"kyun.!!.u like that girl..." she asked surprised..as this was the first time for her..watching her brother getting against her father...

"umm annie...nahi...pta nahi..!!!"he said thinking after each word.."and she is not "that girl".. she does have a name..." he was already annoyed...

"ohhkk..!!"she smiled to herself...

"dekh annie its not i like her or not... not even what I think of her... it's about dad's decision...how can he take such decision...he wants me to live with her as my life partner knowing after few months... he himself will ask me to divorce her...will it not hurt both of us...may be it'll hurt her more... but still..how can he take such a decision just for some damn elections...how can he forget his son...and geet...wo..wo.."he stopped not knowing what to say further..."i mean.."he was actually feeling short of words..not able to explain himself...

Annie was silent.. watching her brother trying to explain his situation..

"annie...do you think geet would have done all this for money.. think geet as you knew her 10 years back...would she..."

"nahi bhai... i really don't think so...if we see 10 years ago.. but still there would have to be a reason why she did all this...and people do change...and here its a matter of 10 years.."

"umm..."he was still lost in himself...has she changed..so much..still he can't believe that she really loved him...he was really confused...

They sat their silently for few minutes..maan still busy in himself..and annie looking at her lost brother...though his confusion was also right ..its not easy to believe someone...after 10 years..

Sanjana came there asking them for dinner...annie left from there leaving the two...maan lost in himself...and sanju just standing there...

sanju knew he had a soft corner for geet and this decision did her chances nil in his life...but still there was a ray of hope for her..these 3 months..if maan stays away from geet...her dreams may come true...

maan started moving from there "maan..."sanju said...

"haan..!!" he talked to sanju for the first time after all this...her pale face...he really felt guilty...he just forgot his friend in all this...and for him all this was because of geet...

"sanju..i'm really sorry for all that happened.."maan tried to console her..

she just hugged him...maan was taken aback with her sudden advancement..."why are u saying sorry maan, its all because of that girl...i told you to stay away from her.. but you..you never listened to me..and see she destroyed our life...she b****"

"SANJANA..!!!"his voice was low but still had the denial completely written over it...sanjana looked at him confused

he lowered down his tone.."dekho sanju...i'm sorry for all this...i know what happened to you was wrong...and i'm really sorry for that...but this...this really can't be changed now..."

"so what do you want from me...should i forget everything..i really love u maan..!!"she asked straight looking in his eyes..tears flowing out of her eyes...making him all the more guilty...

"sanju...can we talk about this tomorrow..please...u are too much angry at the point...u'll not understand me now...so please..."

next he watched sanju run from there...

he closed his eyes...just in matter of few minutes his life has changed completely and the person responsible for all this was only one...and still he asked her for explaination...still he couldn't see her getting humiliated...still he can't see tears in her eyes...still he can't see his friend saying anything about her...still he is thinking about her getting hurt...still ...

he didn't have answers to his own questions...he was so helpless at the moment...he wiped a lone tear and headed inside the mansion...

his father called him for dinner but he was too much lost in himself to listen to anyone...the family was really surprised watching maan ignoring his father's voice...though it hurt Pari a lot and even for her there was only one person responsible for drift in her family...
