Keerti has suffered major injuries, especially on her face and apparently is not available for the shoot.

She has returned to her hometown Pune and doctors have advised complete rest to her. There is no clear idea as to when she will be able to resume her work. Keerti's accident has even put the future of the show at stake. Talks in the town state that the production house is busy hunting for her replacement. Meanwhile, some even say that Balaji Telefilms is thinking of axing the show.

As per a source, "Keerti has suffered major injuries and is unable to even speak. With the lead actress unavailable, we have to alter the storyline. We will show Siddhi (played by Keerti) getting hurt in a bomb blast after which her body goes missing. But it cannot be dragged for long as we would need the female lead back on the show. We are looking for a replacement. But there are chances that the show might go off air rather than dealing with this mess."

However, another source adds, "Producer Ekta Kapoor will have a meeting with the creative team today evening, when the fate of the show will be sealed."

Sameer Soni aka Kunal Chopra said, "Yes you are right about Keerti but about the show shutting down? Not that I know of, been shooting regularly incorporating the accident as part of the story but Keerti's not been there for obvious reasons."

It is to be seen what lies in store!

Yes, Nidz is right. This article has been posted since y/day by TOI.Pls check the first few pages before you post such article. Its very depressing to read this again and again when we just receive some news that she will be back in 8-10 days times. Lets be positive.
