The actress, who returned to her hometown Pune immediately, has been advised complete rest. It's not clear when she would be able to resume shooting. Keerti's accident has put the future of the show at stake. While there are rumours that the production house is busy hunting for her replacement, there is also buzz that the show might soon get pulled off air.
Informs a source, "Keerti has suffered major injuries and is unable to even speak. With the lead actress unavailable, we have to alter the storyline. We will show Siddhi (played by Keerti) getting hurt in a bomb blast after which her body goes missing. But it cannot be dragged for long as we would need the female lead back on the show. We are looking for a replacement. But there are chances that the show might go off air rather than dealing with this mess."
However, another source adds, "Producer Ekta Kapoor will have a meeting with the creative team today evening, when the fate of the show will be sealed."
Let's wait and watch what decision they arrive at.
