"It was a very private wedding that was graced by family members and afew friends. The ones who represented the TV industry were Pratyusha Banerjee and Shashank Vyas," she informs.
Journalist turned actor Anjum and her hubby will fly off for a 15-day honeymoon trip on 14 January (2013). "We have not yet finalized the itinerary," she quips.
Anjum says, "Marriage is bliss that everyone should experience. Agreed that there is a lot of responsibility that comes along, like taking care of your loved ones and setting up a newhouse, but then the companionship and warmth which this age-old socialcontract, brings along more than makes up for it."
So did you cry when you left home? "Yes, like any other girl, it was tough for me too. But luckily, in my case, distance is not an issue as my in-laws' pad is just two signals away from my parent's place. This way when we have small fight, I can go home and he will have to come to pick me up," jokes the lovable actress.
Before bidding her goodbye, we ask her as to what she picked up about married life from her Colors' show. " Balika Vadhu is not about a normal marriage. But if I follow my characterof the wrecked family, my married life would be in tatters."
Anjum is still undecided on whether she will get back to work? "Let me first enjoy this new phase of my life and then only will I take a call if I want to come back to the small screen and if so in which form; I might even think of writing at a laterstage," she concludes.
We wish her all the luck and happiness!!!
