She wants her 'king' to earn

With hubby Apoorva Agnihotri back to work in Kaajjal after three-month break Shilpa Saklani who is currently anchoring the weekly kids' talent hunt show Rin Mera Star Super Star is keen on taking up more work. "I have been offered two soaps but I don't want to get too busy. I wouldn't mind working for nine days in a month, make my money and come home before my hubby returns from work. I like to be at home when he comes back after a tiring day," says Shilpa who feels it's not mandatory for a woman to work like a man.

"I am the queen of the house and I want my king to earn and feed me. That's the age-old social norm and I am quite psyched by it. I love it when he brings in the moolah. It feels so hot. Apoo is my king and he is so hot." Well, well, in this age and time when a woman talks like this doesn't the issue of woman's liberation and empowerment look outdated?

Well the thought of only man working is kinda back dated! 😕

me too 😉,I cant beleive she said those words esp now when women have proved themselves to be independent and consider themselves equal to men.

I fail to understand her ...........poor apu BUT i guess he is happy ...

find it hard to believe that she has uttered such words like moolah but would really appreciate if you can provide the link to this article. This seems to be a concorted interview by some lame journalist. The contradiction is apparent because in reality she is doing more work than Apoorva who just has one show in hand - a show whose credentials are yet to be established. In yet another interview she has exhibited a lot of excitement about the projects she has in hand including the new show Karam Apna Apna, Kyunki, Rin Jhim Star Kalakaar and a few more to come. Hence I find it hard to believe the authenticity of this interview or the source of this article.
