Chapter 2- the meeting

"Hmmm well ...God I wish that this day would be better than yesterday. I hope not to see that Zoey!! Urgh." Thought Khushi. "C'mon Khushi why are you talking to yourself standing at the college gate. Take a step front and you're in it's not that hard. Ohhh I see my boy. Hey Sid, over here…" squealed Alia. "Coming coming... here I come. My worst nightmare ever. I already hate this place." "Uffoo Khushi. Positive comes first always." Said Alia while giving Sid a hug.
"Hey Khushi," said Sid giving her a 1000 watt smile of his. "So you like it here?" asked Sid. "Of course I looove it here. Except for the part that bitch pissing the hell outta me." "Ohhh Khushi I want you to meet someone." Said Sid. " who? Don't tell me that it's your psycho play boy brother?" "Alia don't spoil your sister's brain about my brother. He's not that bad." Said Sid looking irritated. "Ohh she said nothing. It's just that your brother is Zoey's bf and that eventually makes him my enemy. Ohhh you people have hawwwt looking guys around here nah" said Khushi looking at a guy a bit far from them. "Ohh he that's my brother. Your suppose to be enemy." Said Sid giving Alia a wink. "Ohhh puuuh-lease... stop kidding around Sid." "Hey, Arnav over here. I want you to meet someone." "shit shit shit so the handsome guy IS your brother and my enemy." Said Khushi while giving Alia 'he cannot be my enemy kinda look'. Leaving Alia to laugh out loud.

That girl, I've seen her somewhere but I'm not sure where it was. Oh maybe it's just a feeling but I don't like what I'm feeling about her. Yet she must be the girl Sid told me about last night. She's indeed pretty. Prettier than anyone I've ever seen. Her eyes are gorgeous and her smile is just dazzling. "gawd snap out of it Arnav" said Arnav to himself. "Guys see ya'll later Sid's calling me." Said Arnav walking towards Sid.
"Hey whats up bro." said Arnav giving Khushi one of his signature smirks only to get a frown from her. "Arnav I want you to meet Khushi. Alia's cousin sister from India. You remember me telling you about her yesterday?" "Yah I remember. Hey Khushi" said Arnav.
"heyyy babyyy ….ohhh missed sooo muchhh …. Ohhh what the hell are you doing with my homework girl. Come baby let go. Oh by the way you. Here are books I want u do my homework. I hope you remember I convinced you...I mean I threatened you to do my homework for the rest of the week nah...soo you do it. While I take myself and my boyfriend for a walk. If u don't mind." said Zoey to Khushi while handing over her the books. "Zoey!!!" said an irritated looking Arnav. He almost pulled her a bit away from the trio and looked in to her eyes while saying "zoey now you'll be a good girl and take your books from Khushi and leave. By the way you do your homework by yourself and if I see you threatening her. I'll make you regret about it. Got it? Now do as I told you to do."
I hate it when I have to use my powers in the public. Who cares? After all compelling is fun. But why did I ever wanna compel zoey to leave that girl alone, I've never done anything like that. I hate it when my mind does things that I don't even understand. There's indeed something about that girl making me feel something for her. Thought Arnav, while walking towards the trio. "So now where were we? Ahhh yes, I was introducing myself to the new girl. I really hope you don't mind my girl friend. She can be a pain in the ass sometimes. Soo hey... I'm Arnav and it's a pleasure to meet you Khushi." Said Arnav in a chilled voice. "As if I care … I'm not interested in getting to know you. Come lets go Alia. Oh BTW Arnav you better keep your girl friend away from me cuz I don't wanna give her a hard time and Arnav all I'm saying is I like Sid ..But I don't like you. See ya around Sid laterzz" snapped Khushi back at Arnav.
Arnav gave Sid his killer looks. "What the F. was that!!!??? Sid. No one I mean NO ONE has talked to me like that. And that's the first girl who actually refused to shake my hand. Your new friend is weird. Seriously she sounds like bad news. Does she have some mental issues? Ohh do I have something on my teeth?" "What the hell were u thinking Arnav? Compelling Zoey right in the middle of the corridor? Seriously what were you thinking? What if somebody saw it? And you look nice as always. She just hates you for being the boyfriend of that hateful hag. That's all." Replied an irritated Sid
"Whattt??? Nobody gives a damn about it Sid. People may think that I was giving her a romantic prep talk staring at her eyes. You know. So she hates me cuz of Zoey. Big deal as if I even care. Plus ask her whether she's gonna feed me if I dump zoey. Crazy girl. By the way did you feel anything weird about her ?" "What do you mean by WEIRD?" "UMM I donno ...I felt something... something different… something familiar. Those eyes remind me something but I'm not sure about it I donno..." "Ohhh I donno ...I didn't feel anything." "Of course how could you, you were too busy drooling over your girlfriend. Sooo pathetic...c'mon lets go to the class" then they both walked to their respectable classes.

"Alia…… did u see what he did?" "Who? What? And why did u have to be rude to Sid's bro like that?" "whattt you were the one who spoiled my mind about him plus I feel weird about the way he looks. No not about the way he looks. Everything about him is weird. I get a damn weird thing about him. I don't know what it is. It's as if I've known him or seen him somewhere. I mean didn't u see how his eye color changed when he was talking to Zoey. Plus after he talked with her, she just came to me took the book and went away without even saying a word. Like as if he convinced her to do it. Don't you get it?? And when he came back to us again his eye color changed."
"uffooo u think too much. I dint notice anything stupid like that." Said Alia taking out her phone to text Sid. " jeezee no wonder you didn't notice it cuz u were busy staring at Sid. And now it hasn't even been 10 mins and you're texting him. Obsession too much I guess? There's something about him. Even his looks are beyond normal. You're right he does look like a god. At least I won't be doing his gf's h/w." said Khushi. "Yeah thanks to him nah... btw I don't hate him. K? it's just that I'm just friendly with him cuz he's Sid's bro. that's all. So what do you have now?" "History…. I love it" "good for you sis your class is right over there see ya at lunch." "See ya… wish me luck and wish that I won't meet your bro in law in any of my classes." "Ha-ha sure will ….good luck"
"ahhh you must be the new girl Khushi Kumari Gupta. Welcome to Lancer High. I'm Mathew and I'm gonna be your history teacher. Khushi you may go and sit over their next to Arnav." Said Mathew pointing to Arnav. "But ... but... why him?" asked Khushi stuttering looking disgusted. "Well that's the only space left. You can go sit now Miss Gupta." "Okay….." god now what … can my day get any worse? Seriously why him??? Shit why am I panicking listen Khushi!! you're Khushi kumara Gupta and you're not scared of him. Of course I'm not scared of him it's just that I hate how he looks at me. So what I'll go sit next to him and I won't talk with him nah...so big deal. See now he's staring at you smirking. Shit I'm gonna rip off that smirk someday. He's looks like a predator.' Thought Khushi…. And sat next to him.
"Sit properly I won't bite..." whispered Arnav as if he read her thoughts "you look uncomfortable around me… mind if I ask u for the reason?" "Do I? I'll sit the way I wanna sit. You mind your own business. If I find your poky nose in my business I'll make sure I break it." Whispered Khushi back to Arnav. "You're funny and comical. You know that? Plus even if u break my nose it'll be the same way it was the next day…" whispered Arnav. "Huh?? Are you crazy or something? Look I'm not interested in your flirtilicous talks and I only sat with you cuz he asked me to. And now I prefer if u just shut the hell up and concentrate on what Mathew's saying. Bugger" "you two miss gupta and u Arnav shut up!! Or leave the room now. I don't want any disturbances while I'm teaching. I'm not gonna warn again." Said Mathew.
The bell rang and the history lesson was completed. Khushi left the room carrying her bag without staying a second more leaving a surprised Arnav
"That chick's so weird…and I like it. She's interesting…."
Precap- "ummm Khushi... I guess this book belongs to u... I found it at the history room. It must have dropped when u left in a hurry. ……sooo u interested in vampires? ……" said Arnav handing over her Bram stoker's Dracula "non of your business Arnavv..." snapped Khushi.
