Viren, Jeevika, and Veera drove home after eating at the apartment. They saw everyone talking in the family room, including Virat.
vanshika - "Hi Veera, how was class?"
veera - "It was alright. I think I'm going to go upstairs. I'm really tired"
vanshika - "Go ahead, let me know if you need anything"
Veera smiled and went upstairs.
vanshika - "Was she okay Viren?"
viren - "Yeah ma, she was fine. Just tired. We have to take her to the hospital tonight for some blood tests"
vanshika - "Okay, we'll come with you also"
viren - "It's okay ma. It will only take 10 minutes there, it doesn't make sense to come. So chachu had messaged me and they all are coming here in a few days. There flight leaves day after tomorrow. So Jeevika and I decided that you all can stay here and me, jeevika, Virat, Veera, and shlok will stay at the apartment. It's better for Veera also so she can attend her classes and plus she'll like it being surrounded by her brothers and sister"
swamini - "That's a good idea Viren. She will feel much more happier with you guys surrounding her"
virat - "So when do we shift?"
jeevika - "Today. You should pack your things. We'll leave tonight. So we can go to the hospital first and then go to the apartment"
virat - "Sounds good. Bhai have you told Veera yet about this whole wedding thing?"
viren - "Nope not yet"
virat - "I think you should tell her, before she freaks and blames herself for you not having a big fat indian wedding"
viren - "We'll tell her tonight. In the meantime go pack your stuff. Jeevs can you come upstairs with me. I need some help with my stuff"
swamini - "Viren, you shouldn't need Jeevika's help you know. You should be independent and do everything on your own" she said smiling
virat - "Yeah bhai, just like me. Unless your taking her upstairs for some other reason"
Viren gave Virat the death glare and Virat left the room. Viren went upstairs to pack his stuff as Jeevika sat down with the rest of the family. Vanshika and Swamini had never really known a lot about Jeevika, besides what Viren would tell Veera. They knew that they went to USC together and that Jeevika was done with her masters and medical school. As they all talked together, they started discussing wedding details. They wanted to make sure everything be perfect for the two of them. Viren and Virat finished packing and came back down to where everyone was.
viren - "I have to go to the office to pick up and drop of a few files. Jeevs do you know where my keys are?"
jeevika - "They're in my car. I'll give it to you"
Both of them went outside and Jeevika handed over Viren's keys to him. Viren brought Jeevika close to him. He hugged her around her waist as their noses started touching.
viren - "I love you"
jeevika - "I love you too. Now go fast and come back. We have to take Veera to the hospital"
viren - "Okay, I was thinking let's go out for dinner tonight. You, Virat, me and Veera. I really just want to distract her a little, from the hospital and tests and everything"
jeevika - "Okay, sounds good. I'll see you in a bit then"
Jeevika was trying to leave from the hug, but Viren wouldn't let go.
jeevika - "Can you leave me now"
viren - "I don't feel like it. Just stay here please"
jeevika - "Viren we're standing outside your house. What if the neighbors see? And everyone inside are waiting for me"
viren - "Fine, but remember I still have a revenge to complete"
jeevika - "What revenge?"
viren - "Forgot already huh? From this morning, when you kicked me out of MY room"
jeevika - "Your room huh? Stop with those dirty thoughts. Me and Veera will be in my room while you boys will sleep in the other room, got it?"
viren - "We'll see. Now will you leave me? I have to go to my office"
Jeevika's jaw opened and she was amazed at Viren.
jeevika - "Don't blame it on me, you didn't want me to leave okay. I don't mind if you leave"
viren - "Really now? So it doesn't matter to you?"
jeevika - "BYE VIREN"
viren - "Bye" he said giving her a kiss on her cheek.
Jeevika went back inside and saw everyone talking. She decided to go check on Veera. She entered the room and saw her sitting at her desk.
jeevika - "You woke up? You okay?"
veera - "Yeah, just trying to figure out this assignment"
jeevika - "First day take home calculous exam?"
veera - "Yeah, how did you know?"
jeevika - "Viren and I had this professor. Veera you need to pack all of your stuff. We're going to be moving to my apartment?"
veera - "Wait really, Im going to stay with you over there. So bhai agreed?"
jeevika - "well sort of, he and Virat are coming there too"
veera - "ughh you just killed it. Why can't they just leave us alone, well me in particular?"
jeevika - "Well you'll see later. So after you're done try finish packing asap. We'll leave in a bit as we have to go to the hospital too"
veera - "Bhabhi I don't want to go to the hospital. I'm done with treatments and tests"
jeevika - "Veera don't say that. There is nothing that's going to happen to you okay. Think about your brother before you say that. He can't live without you"
veera - "But whats the point. Everyone has to leave one day right? it's just going to be that I'm leaving earlier than others"
jeevika - "You're not going anywhere. You still have a lo to do in your life. You have to finish college, and then decide your career. Go to grad school. Find a cute guy and get married"
Veera started smiling
veera - "And most of all attend your wedding. Then Virat bhaiya's wedding. Bhabhi can I tell you something?"
jeevika - "Of course" ...
