For a divorce to happen between Ayan and Zoya, it's not necessary that they would've consummated the marriage, bcos this is a tv show and to show regular leads consummating itself they take years!

At this point I'm also not sure if they are still sticking to the old synopsis ?

The initial show pace was acceptable since they were building out the story and I used to like it.

Now I see that the pace has gone down very much and nothing concrete happening for the real plot line. They seem to be wasting a lot of time showing other things not really important for the main plot.

It was good on Zee's part that they posted the synopsis way early and we know what to expect, but nothing has been happening for that plot line at all. More than 2 months into the show , they are still building the foundation. What tires me is the fact that they don't give the required priority to the required story line and the show isn't getting serious , for a synopsis that is so very serious!

The rule of thumb among Muslims is that in order for a divorced woman to remarry her ex-husband, she must marry someone else...does she also have to sleep with that man in order to return to the ex-husband? And if she has not slept with Ayaan, then will she have to sleep with Asad? If that is the case, then Asad will be her first...NOT Ayaan.

As fans of the show we want Zoya to love only Asad and for him to the be the first man - and only man with whom she sleeps with. I agree with your speculation that Zoya might marry Ayaan once she finds out Mamujan is her father...plus I do believe that Humaira and her family will be behind the misunderstandings that cause the divorce between them.

I not only want Asad to be the only man Zoya ever loves and subsequently consummates a relationship with but I also very much equally want Zoya to be the first and only girl in Asad's life. Either of them sleeping with or loving anyone else will ruin the story for me.

I'm not sure if consummating a relationship is required in halala (well, first of all, halala is not Islamic anyway because by definition it is done with the intention of getting back to the first husband after divorcing husband #2 which is not a religiously valid reason for a second marriage). Regardless of the rules and regulations, I'd be forced to quit the show if Zoya sleeps with both of them.

After today's episode, seeing how so very much A-A love each other, I'm very intrigued to see how Zoya will end up changing the brothers' equation. I wonder if Asad-Ayaan will ever develop any animosity over her...it'd be quite a show if they do. I also wonder if Zoya will become dearer to Asad than Ayaan at one point.
