Yes, it does. The last episode showed how helpless a woman can feel.Esp. the scene btween Dilshad and Shireen's brother.

There he comes, with all his religious believe and said everything that was wrong and unkind. The worst thing is that he is respected.

Regardless of his opinion of Dilshad , he should never , never, treat a woman in such a bullying and demeaning manner.

I have been in a situation like this, and I tell you my feeling of hoplessness and rage still sits in my soul when I recall the incident.

It doesnt matter-- which religon is portrayed --as whatever the religion the principle rule should be to show kindness to woman who have been left behind by their husbands.

When I saw that scene I thot and wished that people will also take the Religion of Love seriously.

This is my very first post in the IF. I pray and hope I will only have sympathetic readers and not judgemental defenders.

I'm sorry you had to go through something difficult. Personally certain things in QH also remind my of some less pleasent memories in my past so I can somewhat understand your situation.

You have made a very nice observation.
I agree with you on most of the things but I've got certain issues by linking religion with the character of Mr.Siddiqui.
Where does the idea of religion comes in between Siddiqui's male chauvinist,arrogant and proud behaviour?
Men like Siddiqui exist in very third house of India.For these men,the honour of their house in the society is the most important thing.These men think that they have control over everyone's life in their family and can make people dance on their fingers.
Siddiqui is just one example of a typical male chauvinist who thinks that he is always right and has got all the rules only for girls and women.
I don't understand where Siddiqui's religious believes during the whole drama come into picture?Can u plz explain?
Apart from the religious issue,I agree with you in the fact that Siddiqui has got no right to talk like that to Dilshad.this man seriously needs to respect other people.I see him bullying everyone in his own family.He keeps on bullying Rashid and Ayaan all the time.

Every religion teaches people to respect each other and treat women properly.
Siddiqui's rude behaviour with Dilshad had nothing to do with religion my dear.
It was all about Siddiqui's high self esteem and self centered behaviour.
I hope you are not bored by this long post.
I don't intenD to offend you.
I hope we can have healthy discussions and even differ at times and have debates on a peaceful note.

but betrayal , sadness , problems in families cast nd these all which r shown in QH happens in life too...

so its nice if they r showing little bit of reality in a fiction

yes i agree with you, i dont realy know muslim law, but i know wrong from right,

Shireens family her Brother and sister in law are wrong, Dilshad is the one they wronged, took away her husband and childrens father, left her and her children destitute 17 years back, and now manujahn comes and insults her,

its a shame the a man of such standing in society has no moral backbone. to know who is in the wrong or right and who is fault

I do agree with you, I'm a feminist, so any excuse to insult women and make them feel inferior is not acceptable to me. In fact, I hate this portrayal in media, being a woman, I think Gul Khan should have made Dilshad defend herself, especially since she wasn't at fault! 🤔

from whatever I know , male chauvnism is a universal truth..ironically it knows no boundaries of religion or country ...

women the supposedly "weaker" sex have to time and again prove their innocence, their worth, and value...

it is the sad truth of all societies ...

Sorry to hear that you had to go through such a difficult time.

This show touches a few very painful cord for me too..

Somewhere every show touches something painful for many...like...many shows have shown a miscarriage...a painful thing which many woman have gone through...and many more examples can be given...

But if start expecting things painful to us not to be shown..then no show will be able to run...

Usually till the evil is shown to be prevalent...the success of goodenss cannot be enjoyed...
