i know we're on episode 25, but i just had to put down a few of my thoughts on episode 24 before i even watched 25. later in the day, hope to see 25 and get up to date, now lagging behind like khushi with her mojri in the mud. sorry. 😉

episode 24: contd

ab rona mat shuru kar dena.

so he had noticed the tears welling up in her eyes just a short while ago. when he insulted her, tried to force her to wear that skimpy thing in blue. and later when he just couldn't look away as she stood there all woman in red.

he had noticed her aansoo, and it had started hurting him somewhere. the first few times of the "har baar " her tears affected him. it was beautiful. what we saw in early july of 2011 had reference and context in a statement made months later on 21 september 2012. this is story telling, writing. and there was so much of it in ipk. even when it was clear that the story was being mauled, i always felt, the writers, led by ved raj and gautam hegde, tried their best to keep something of ipk alive. and of course, the actors fought valiantly. especially barun. how hard he tried to hold on to asr while his own ph and the channel were busy letting him go to faceless "good" man hell.

as desperately perhaps as he was holding her shoulder in the scene that came just before he said that about crying.





every part of this episode felt extra carefully and lovingly crafted. the words, the framing, the lighting, the edit, the music, the perfectly timed sound effects of thunder lightning rain screeching tyres, and of course the acting. nothing faltered, everything fell into place and said much more than what was apparent. we were almost being invited to look deeper. go beyond the veil, that sheet of rain, find the hints and clues scattered just beneath the layer.

as the water streamed in torrents it was as though he was drowning. in her. his eyes said he'd forgotten everything in the turmoil of that moment, when he thought she was going to be hit by that car, and he just lunged forward, caught her, and felt her body close against him. something seemed to have taken the wind out of him, and it was more than the panic of the moment. he doesn't let go, even when it is fine to do so.

she notices first. then he. how his fingers grip her slight shoulder. then as though realising something he doesn't even want to look at, he pushes her away. one swift move. and as she looks on shocked, he turns and begins to walk away. the ocean ebbs... but not for long. again he turns. looks at her, now his gaze is holding on. he doesn't want to. but there it is.

the only thing to break the spell is anger. so it is summoned. and then the ocean surges back toward its shore, jacket in hand.

"kyon mujhe pahli baar aisa laga ki main... ki main shayad kuch galat kar raha hoon.

main sahi hoon.

main jo kar raha hoon, sahi hai

phir kyon

kyon mujhe ussika khaya baar barr aa raha hai

sirf ussika chehra

mujhe bura nahi lag sakta

nahi

uss ladki ke liye toh kabhi bhi nahin

arnav singh raizada ko kissi ladki se koi faraq nahin padta!"


those words throw a poignant light on the character of arnav singh raizada. wrapped among those simple direct sentences is a story of a man's whole life somewhere. there was a terrible "galat" in that life, and that set him on the path to never be wrong, to do and be right. "sahi." in his eyes even the whiff of galat is intolerable. zero tolerance. why?

and that need to be right. so absolute. why? and why too that last sentence: no girl makes any difference to asr. why the accent on "kissi bhi." what had happened that involved a girl and lots of galat? that was so central to his inner sense of himself? he could handle a lighter, less involved relationship like the one with lavanya, where obviously his and possibly her deepest part weren't involved, but he was determined "kissi ladki se koi farq nahin padta." powerful crux to a character. delving into it could lead to such riveting places. certainly there was lots more to the tale when it all started. i so wish we'd heard it all.

his mind plays back every instant in their lives when he was harsh, wrong in his action toward her: the snapping of the dori, the tearing of the dupatta, the dropping off the upper floor, the forcing her to model. he can't bear it. he stops, and steps out into the rain, seeking answers, perhaps absolution.

we see the deep conscience of a man and his ability to examine himself. had he been the brusque, win at all cost guy, who uses his power, money, gender to get his way, would he have saved her, or walked back with a jacket, or screeched to a halt in the middle of the road to have that conversation with his self? his first one before us.

wonderfully though in the sentences, his admission that she has begun to enter his mind, transgress his sacred isolation. he is thinking of her, baar baar.

barun's body language was outstanding in this sequence. as though he is trying to fend off a terrible thing, stiffening his being up against the onslaught, putting his feet firmly on the ground so that he can't be knocked off them. first the storm in his eyes, then the growing resolve. no. he will not give in. when is the last time i saw such superb interpretation and direction.



"jiji toh sabse zyada. aur upar se aaj jiji ka... woh darasal aaj hamari jiiji ka janamdin hai...

pata nahin hum aap ko yeh sab kyon bata rahein hain.. woh asal mein hamse chupi sahi nahin jaati... issliye hum kuch zyadahi bol dete hain"

khushi kumari gupta was lovely today, even more beautiful than in that red saree of hers i thought. sanaya's delicate features gleamed highlighted by the light reflected off the water clinging to them. she was slim and enchantingly vulnerable looking at this time, and the camera seemed to adore her innocent yet strong and always a bit nutty khushi.


she was like chandni raat and he like dhoop. and shew as about to get really mad at him for all the terrible things he'd put her through.


"maaf kijiye...par woh issi khitab ke layak hain... kyonki woh.."

and smoothly, almost tenderly, akash cuts in:

"sakht hai, (a little pause and a smile)

unka swabhav aisa ho gaya... bahut hi kam umr mein unpar bahut zimmadari aa gayi thi..."

how much love for that rude man in his cousin's voice. and the story begins to open. something happened to him at a very young age. something that made him so hard. when i connect it to the man in question's own break down in the rain, the rain seems to enter my heart, healing and hurting at once. screenplay, oh the sheer brilliance of it here.

"hum yeh sab nahin jaante...

par aapke swabhav aur unke swabhav mein kitna antar hai... aap kitne sajjan purush hai, aur woh, rakshas hai, rakshas!"

at rakshas, the biggest testimony to asr's character, the driver turned with almost a glare at the one calling his boss all sorts of things. akash gestured: no, calm down. the man who barks and yells at all, seems to command a strong sense of loyalty from those he never bothers to be politically correct around. interesting. and again clever screenplay to say much without wasting any time. all these days we've seen how awful asr is, now it's time to wonder, is he?


while one man seemed to leave her in the downpour and walk away at a late hour, two men stepped up and offered safety, shelter. makan, shelter, a basic need came to mind. and what is the role of these two men? akash held firm in his resolve and refused to let her be, though khushi in her "i can manage" way urged him to go. he acted as a true friend, he was also the one to point out to her that she was special for she had dared to defy one whom everyone feared. shyam would offer her shelter too in the form of a husband one day, but that would be as much of a lie as his answer to her question as to why he stares at her like that.

and the man who walked away? no, he didn't give her an umbrella, but he sheltered her in his arms, shielded her with his life. that car could have hit him.




a jacket and a dupatta. kapda, another fundamental requirement, clothing. he offered to cover her against the rain with something from his body. the amount of symbolism that holds especiallly in the context of indian weddings where a vastra from the man covers the head of the bride as a sign of "i take care of you food and shelter," is staggering. and the intensity in barun almost gave a sense of sanctity to that offer. off course, he then flung it at her, angry at his own feelings.

and she as much on cue it seemed, rejected the offer. angry at this heartless man, unwilling to take any help from him. whereas akash's offer of a gift for her sister got accepted. and so a lovely yarn was spun around how a man's gift of love, of hopes of union, of being her protector, her lover, reached the right girl. it was done so smoothly, left you breathless and happy.

the rain got mixed with a visual connection between another set of lovers who were not at all aware of their emotions. yet. but joined they were by a sneeze, thanks to a naughty storyteller.

haan, said she. choo, completed he.

and the deal was sealed. his eyes looked troubled and lost still. and then in walked nani and reminded him of a diya. torment again. only to be saved by mention of his sister's troubled state of mind. kya? kya hua di ke mood ko? and after mami had given her account in the way only she can, he wanted to know if di had given that woman a piece of her mind. in the midst of this exchange, the cutest raction from anjali to her lecture giving bro: go dry your own hair, a little towel fling (so you think you can get away with jacket fling). hwo cute and natural was daljeet here.

and then the cutest smile from her brother, a little glimpse almost of that boy of "kam umr" on whom had come all that "zimmedari." there was a part of arnav singh raizada kkg would never have believe existed. today i am dazed by it, a few days down the road she will be too, by that same tenderness in the man for his sis. again, beautiful design, nothing is wasted, superfluous, gratuitous. every opportunity is taken to enrich the narrative.



"tumhe nahin lag raha tum uss chhotey se employee ko kuch zyada dhyan de rahe o?"

"enough lavanya... number!"

"khushi kumari gupta... itni asani se chaain ki saans nahin lene doonga tumhe."

chain ki saans. she has robbed him of his peace of mind, how can he let her rest. our journey to faraq padta hai and hamari dhadkane has begun in earnest.

What a lovely episode wrapping beauteous layers of mixed feelings of Angels and Demons hidden in each character as humans but in some up to that extreme showing how darkness is prevailing and ruling over goodness but the ray of goodness still has not died and reflecting its presence with ray of HOPE that "I will be out and dazzle in a full swing" no matter how long will it take.Contrasting shadows of alluring, bewitching, enticing, dazzling,ravishing,stunning and simply beautiful stray of emotions are shown in just 20 min.Kudos to makers.👍🏼👏

Epi started from where we left yesterday.He took her in his safe haven tightly from all the troubles to ensure her "She is safe and protected" till she realized his grip on her and broke that stance first.He is still holding her,gazing her ,staring her to find something like a lost soul who is waiting for destination without caring about the surroundings and its uphold elements.A Sudden Jolt of thunder and he transitives to the current situation and jolt her away from himself.Amazing shades of expressions are portrayed by Sanaya and Barun.😳






The confused soul is trying to get the understanding of all of this situation by looking at his face.The look on Khushi face has million questions with deeper meanings but without making any sense to her.She brings her gaze down and brings herself up to a distance.But during this whole time his eyes remains on her and only her.She turns herself to escape from his "EYES" but he is not wasting a minute but gauging every inch of this shivering soul.She is cold he can see it.She is hurt he can feel it.She is uncomfortable he can sense it.There is concern on his face.There is a remorse heart of him which is giving signals to the "SHATIR BRAIN" of ASR that "you are wrong".Pause here are we talking about ASR according to whom he can't be wrong."Arnav Singh Raizada Khabi Ghalat nahi ho Sakta".Is this the same ASR who thinks and acts from his brain not by heart."Main Dil se Nahi Dimaag se Sochta Hoon".Is this the same ASR who told his sister,"It will never happen to me because I don't waste my time in these useless things (Love,infatuation, etc) [Main in Fazool batton Main Waqat Barbad Nahi Karta] is falling for this ordinary girl.Today this stern person's goodness was trying hard to come out of him unveiling his other side which is not DARK at all,which is not EVIL at all,which is not DEVILISH or SATANIC at all.This is not ASR this is Arnav everybody's Chote.👏Brilliant Brilliant exposure of vast range of emotions and expressions by Mr Sobti.👍🏼




He offered her his coat to stay away from cold and shiver and yelled at her "Kia Sabat Karna Chati ho ke tum Bachari ho Kam se Kam Meri Haisiat Ka Khial Rakha Hota"(What are you proving that u r helpless at least think about my status.)
Pause her folks He gave her protection,he gave her covering and now questioning her and expecting her to show concern about his status.mmm very intriguing.Symbolism.Take it to the level which shows attachment and longing on her is not budding its started rooting in his heart.(Heart within heart)😃He is offering her protection and want to cover her from all the shame he caused.Just Beautiful feeling for that moment.




On the other end he is not dealing with an ordinary next door gal.This is Khushi who never let anyone run on her and just sit and cry.She believes to make a difference in life and thats the Khushi we are talking about.She looks at him to get hold on to the situation.In other words to understand HIM.Is this the same guy who did make her life Hell all the time ,A Laad Governor ,A Rakhshas"and now is offering her his coat.What a fabulous expression by Sanaya in just one look.After all she is his TRUE opponent.She gave her his coat back without even giving him a look."Humain iski koi Zarorat Nahi Hai" ( I don't need it).



She covered herself with her wet Dupata.Her ego and self respect does not allow her to allow him to even enter in HER territory of RESPECT which she has for herself.I just Salute Khushi for that.Standing ovation👏 👏 👏 He leaves the premises with remorse heart but with a stern LOOK and she keeps looking at his back baffling about "What just happened?"


Today Akash redeemed himself in my eyes as he offered his support to Khushi.He was sweet to her and took care of her like a brother.He did getv upset of her calling ASR "Rakhshas" as he is aware of the whole unjust situation.(BUT driver is not HAPPY mind your buisness dude D)He offered her the same "Dupatta" by recalling moments of Payal with the notion that he might not be able to meet her again or not but at least it will cover some damage towards Khushi's sadness.But Fate has stored for him something different and special too as "Dupatta" is going to reach its rightful PLACE to Payal on her Bday.Just a small full of enchanted and captivated emotions scene.❤️

Shyam who is looking for Khushi suddenly gets scared by looking at car and he is unaware of it that KHUSHI is in it.Pause here Khushi spotted him while she is in the car.He just spotted the car not Knowing that she is already in.Done so well.Khushi will enter RM and will make her place really well in brain and hearts of everyone living in RM and he will not be aware of that and it will be too late until HE knows it.(AS Anjali does not tell her when she decides to bring her in for training La, He found it latter just like he sent Khushi in different branch but lands in ASR Land means office)



Another brilliant scene when Khushi is stuck with one FOOT in the mud and Shyam stares at her but she frees herself after some effort.She becomes aware of it and questions him sternly with the firm look.Pause here.She is going to be the first one who is going to find the truth about him but at that time her one FOOT will be stuck.( She was engaged with Shyam and got herself out of the mess but with the great deal of effort) Muahhh👏
At this point he is only concerned about the CAR and Khushi came with Akash in it.mmm interesting is possessive over Khushi or scared of the CAR at this moment ?????Lets see.



On the other side the WAR of Angel and Demon is going on in Arnav's Den.He is driving with all the past events in SEQUENTIAL order,
1-from Shhesh Mahal to office fall. (REGRESSION)
2-from Photo shoot to rain hug . (REALIZATION)

FROM REGRESSION TO REALIZATION OF HIS JOURNEY WITH HER SO FAR.Just amazing scene.Something is cracking the CODE of his locked HEART and had some success to let the first ray of Arnav outside the ASR Armored SHELL.👏 Well done Makers and Well done Barun❤️ Pause here Connection Khushi is the one who found the key at Darga.




One eye is covered by the SUV and the other is raging out at his inner turmoil.Split personality is shown very well here as the war of ASR and Arnav continues. ASR is becoming HUMAN as he can feel bad for his own actions towards her though at the end ASR wins but Arnav is OUT and OPEN though in a fraction of time but lets see how long ASR can hide it?Barun I just LOVE you in this marvelous scene.👏You've shown all the cracking codes of emotions here.😆






Sneezing ASR still in the pool of Khushi's land and totally unaware of his surroundings comes back to his senses when HIS Di's trouble with the guests ladies during pooja comes up.Nani scolds at him for not being present in the pooja.Its just me or They both sneeze together just wondering.But it was a cute touch.😆





Naniji asks him and reminds him Devi Mayya's Diya in the office.Here we go again ASR with his raging face remembering his WET DAY in the office because of that incident.Here comes contract back into action and he reminds himself What he needs to do for the contract."Make her life Hell".😭 ASR is BACK!
Pacing back and forth in his room "Shatir Dimag "comes up with another plan 'NOT TO LET HER SLEEP.Keeping her up to finish his work as a punishment or keeping her close to him by doing his work and remembering HIM all night long.mmm Good Evil Plan Mr ASR.😃





Lighter note Lavanya noticed his too much involvement in Khushi so called "An ordinary employee" and his irritation was very visible but GRINDING teeth ASR at her is visible too.😆

loved your episode 24 analysis. especially your interpretation of why khushi saw shyam but he missed her in the car, and why her foot was stuck in the mud. she has started to crack the code of his locked heart as you put it. that's beautiful. i think of him as the ocean, with hidden treasure in his depth. pearls. somewhere she is his pearl of happiness too as well as his shore giving him all the shore gives the ocean.

you refer to mannat ki chabi, another loaded symbol. must discuss and swoon together. 😆

her face asking a million questions, a moment goes by and she looks down at her left shoulder, where his strong palms have a tight grip.





His eyes still glued to her face as if he has found answers to his million questions.



Then the finally the realization "what am i doing?" he pushes her away,



She got way closer that he allowed anyone to..too close to his heart, too close to his soul, so he pushed her away.


As the melodiousness music turns to the authoritive, back score fit for ASR, he was back...not completely but at least back to blaming her because she is getting too close, first he blamed her for getting in front of the car (he had no choice to come save her), then he blamed her for getting wet (she was making him remorseful). Remorseful he was, he did feel her shiver when he was holder her tightly,




so he offers her his coat, his protection



"yeh jacket pehen lo! apna hulia theek karo, apna nahi to meri company ke status ka khayaal rakkha hota"

...She quietly listens to his insulting remarks, but take his protection? no she didn't have to ...not from the rakshas who repeatedly points finger on her character, not from the rakshas who puts her down any chance he gets... but he did just save her, so she politely declines,"Hame iski koi zarurat nahi hai" and rejects his protection. She covers herself with her dupatta symbolizing she can take care of herself.



Arnav's angry, frustrated, remourseful face reads "How dare she?" and snatches the jacket away and STORMS off.



Finally Khushi's day from hell comes to an end as Akaash offers her a ride home almost trying to make up for his brother's wrong doings.

Hurricane Khushi:

Arnav was driving home in the middle of two different storms: the storm outside his suv



and the storm inside his head name Khushi.



Thinking of every single time he had ran into her until finally its too much for him...his car comes to a screeching halt (poor breaks!). Arnav steps out almost like he wanted the rain to wash his thoughts away...thoughts of her.



He questions himself..."Kyu mujhe pehli baar aisa lag raha hai ki mein shayad kuchh galat kar raha hun?" He gets angry and slams the door shut.




The always so decisive and sure of himself, Arnav Singh Raizada tries to convince himself "mein sahi hu (i'm right)...doubts sets in, fir kyu? kyu mujhe uss hi ka khayaal baar bar aa raha hai, SIRF ussi ka chehra!


He takes a step away from the suv, clenching his right fist "mujhe bura nahi lag sakta (i can't feel bad)! he tells him self "def not for her"




almost apologetic for thinking that, he leans his whole body on his car and closes his eyes, takes in deep breath as if he knows he's in trouble...




but not one lose..not even his heart, he opens his eyes...



pure determination takes over his face "Arnav Singh Raizada ko kisi ladki se koi farq nahin padta"




Convince yourself all you want Mr.Raizada but those storms in your head show no sign no stopping anytime soon...



Barun's solo scene here should be shown in all the acting schools (i'll volunteer to to teach that class:)...he doesn't have any verbal dialogues, brings all the complex emotions of his thoughts to his face FLAWLESSLY...BRAVO Sobti !!!!!...he's not just a pretty (ok drop dead gorgeous) face. one of the best scens EVER! luv you Sobti!!!

- Also a special mention for the background score here, especially when he is stepping out of the suv...so dramatic so perfect for the mood.

-Lovely scene with Khushi/Akash and Mohan, the driver in the car, nice to see a glimps or bubbly khushi back. She starts complaining about the "laad governer" and the way Akash tries to justify his brother's actions is pretty sweet...even Mohan is offended by her words to Arnav also...hmmm he must not be a complete monster. Payal will get the dupatta Akaash wanted to give her from the heart, such a sweet moment 😃


Back at the RM, the storm resumes 😉




The only thing that takes his thoughts away from Khushi is when maami brings up Anjali's disappointing day..."Kya hua di ke mood ko?" he jumps.



Anjali brushes it off...feel sorry for her, how can Arnav understand her sadness? only another woman could...finally his thoughts away from Khushi...till Naani reminds him of her again 😕



Pacing back and forth, his is itching to punish her some more for doing this to him...


Enjoy Payal's cake tonight Khushi, b/c seems like more kadvi sabzi in the forcast :(

Open to pouring rain, cats and dogs and a parking lot full of cars. Two people standing there in a tight hold. No one watching just a few parked cars. Beautiful music playing in the background. Rain falling down...

.She looks, realizing HE is holding her. He looks, HE realizes, he is holding her.
CRACK...CRACK thunder sounds twice and within that instant realization comes to mind, when suddenly he lets go of her like a hot potato, pushing her away. She stumbles back.

"I told you to take care of parking the car!! Not go in front of it!" He looks at her all wet and cold, soaked from head to toe. What is that look on his face? Is he feeling bad? Only the cars would know, because he certainly wouldn't admit it.
RABBA VE...RABBA VE...RABBA VE...

I am thinking,he's thinking, maybe I should do something, so he walks forward and she steps away from him and he asks her "what are you trying to prove? You want to attract attention? Are you helpless? Don't cry now." And he throws her his coat..."If you don't want to take care of yourself at least be responsible because you work for this company and its reputation"
HAH! like it was her responsibility, not his, for being in this situation. Guilty much, ASR? "
"I DON'T WANT IT!" she replies. She hands it back, he grabs it and she covers herself with her wet dupatta. He stomps away, leaving her in the rain with the lone witnesses, the Cars.
Scene Gupta house Payal outside worried, Buaji- "that girl is going to kill me!"
Outside the building named AR GROUP OF COMPANIES Kushi waits in the busy road. Rain pelting her still. She gets beeped by another car.
Wake up girl! Your stuck between a hard place (ASR Co.) and the road...either direction you go can be a dangerous step. Watch out for those cars they can be dangerous, as well as useful as you will see...
She is tapped on the shoulder by a man with an umbrella, very sweet, Akash. He tells her it is late, let me take you home, I don't want to leave you here alone. I am liking Akash and his chivalry here, not so much the other episode when he didn't give her the umbrella.

The road is long, dark, and rain is still pouring down and a lone speeding car comes in to view.
The demon is driving the car. This is the first time we see what he does when he drives. Driving in this car, where he is alone with himself, with his thoughts of her, alone with the camera of his mind, the shutters flashing the scenes before his eyes of "that girl" falling into his arms, of "that girl" looking ravishing in her red saree, of "that girl" standing in the rain, and of him saving "that girl" from an on coming car. Here he is driving in his car, his car where he is free from all scrutiny...his psychiatrist's couch. A safe haven for him to think, feel, see, without anyone knowing. Just him and the car and the road. A place where he can just go and drive and think and drive and think and see and think and feel and no one will know. Yes, his psychiatrist's couch, where it is safe to think, question and reminisce. But all these images... his mind won't stop...
STOP!...STOP! He slams on the breaks and swerves to a halt. He gets out. He can't take it anymore. He questions..why for the first time I feel like I did something wrong? I always do right? Why? Why do I keep thinking about her? Why? Why do I see her face all the time? Why?
Like lying on the pyschiatrist's couch he thinks and thinks and finally comes to an answer. His answer...
I do not..will not feel bad . Not this girl...

CRACK...CRACK... Thunder cracks and the answer comes...
ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA DOESN'T CARE ABOUT ANY GIRL!

Like the psychiatrist's couch, the car is there for him to lean on.

Meanwhile on another couch, I mean, in another car is Kushi and Akash.
He says your family must be worried and she says especially my sister. They have a nice conversation where it is revealed that it is Kushi's sister's birthday and because of the events of the day Kushi couldn't get her sister a present. Akash hands her the Dupatta out of his briefcase thinking about the one he bought it for. He says I would probably like your sister and (quietly says to himself) anyway he isn't sure whether he will ever meet that girl he bought the dupatta for. They talk about the demon and he says that ASR has big responsibilities since he was young boy and Kushi responds but look at you, you are nice even though you drive a big car and you are not like him. Meanwhile she points out to him the street she lives on and he is surprised and they drive by a man with an umbrella that Kushi recognizes as Shyam. Shyam turns and appears to recognize the car. Suspiscious?
They pull up to Kushi's home where Akash see her! Payal! She is your sister? HE IS SOOO IN LOVE! He tells Kushi she will definitely like the dupatta. She says come inside and wish her but he refuses saying he has to go after having his own flashback moment with Payal. He whispers "a very Happy Birthday!" and he drives off.
Ten minutes left to celebrate! They are all excited. I love the simplicity of these girls. All they care about is being together and celebrating it doesn't matter for how long. Gotta love em and don't talk about the demon!. Shyam reaches out with the umbrella Kushi's slipper got stuck in the mud. She tries to get it out while Shyam is just drooling over her, very creepy in my opinion. Kushi takes notice and he makes an excuse that he doesn't want her to get sick. Let's go.
Just then she snee...he(ASR) snee...they sneeze together. achoo!!!!
(this was the best scene ever! Just loved it! So cute!)
In ASR bedroom with the family. Anjali drying chote's hair. Nani bringing him tumeric milk with safron and Mami. Banter back and forth again with Nani and Mami when Mami proceeds to tell ASR what happened with Ratna and Anjali. How Ratna made Anjali sad and she didn't even respond. ASR jumps up, who hurt my sister and her champion comes in full force. He does admonish her with "Come on, Di, you know he has work!" Nani tells ASR that he missed the pooja but asks if he keeps a light on for Devi Maya at work? He remembers the "she devil", the one who is creeping into the crevices of his mind , and how she lit the lamp that made the whole fire alarm system swing into action. He gets pissed. Calls La. He wants HER number. La wants to know why are you spending so much thought /time on one employee? JUST GIVE ME THE NUMBER!!!DAMMIT(my improv)... KUSHI KUMARI GUPTA...I WON'T LET YOU BREATHE FOR ONE MINUTE!!!!!

The psychiatrist's couch is now available...appointments being taken...clear the book this is going to be a long session!!!

it's me here looking to hitch a ride. really cool analysis, lady. car as a couch, weren't you driving to new york? how new york is that take of yours. love the humour, the wheels sensation, and in red, fascinating insight into this man and his only space to himself where he can think and feel. also, have always been a lover of long drives (though not many come my way any more). something definitely happens to you when you're in a state of motion in a gaddi. the mind goes to another space. the same scene done in the bedroom and the poolside, would have been wonderful but not this phenomenal. you can't bring a bedroom to a screeching halt, and step out onto an unknown road by your own pool. sorry, reading late. hope you've reached and are having a great time. 😆

khushi is always on his mind...she affects him so much that he does not even know it...

khushi is so innocent she told anjali what really happened by the poolside...it is funny how arnav does not accept the fact that he trip and khushi helped balance him out

and should a typewritter sink in the pool and not float😕...did khushi just returned the case and left the type writter for later use...

and this was the first poolside rabba vey...and there will be many more to come

i am so excited there is a maha episode coming!!!!!

episode 25 analysis of yours was very interesting as usual. you mention chess. 😃 on crooner we often spoke of that. definitely a feeling of a game being set with designated roles and places for players is in the air. it was a smart thing to do, otherwise , how do you keep all the different characters tied to a central theme. everything would start to pull i diff directions. agree about those early writers. they were brill. and they had many dreams as to where they could take the whole thing.

as for daadi, my gut feel, she never did exist in the initial game plan. perhaps that chacha at sheesh mahal did. and maybe just maybe, someone in shyam's life who'd been hurt by arnav's dad. certainly the story was never as simple as garima had an affair with sr malik and so asr's mother shot herself, and so did his dad. then there would be no need for thsi board to be carefully calibrated and set up.

lovely take. those sneezes together and di's bless you, that poolside meeting, and her taking his place, great interpretations.
