Aamna on Rin Mera Star SUPERSTAR

Friday the 13th, might be considered as a bad omen all over the world ….but will that really stop the contestants of Rin Mera Star SUPERSTAR from giving their best shot on the upcoming episode on 13 October on Star Plus? While one of the contestants of the episode, Gaurav Jethwani's mother seems to be besieged by this superstition the other contestants and their mothers seem oblivious to it.

According to Gaurav's mother, "I am not really superstitious, but I do believe that luck plays an important role in one's life. I believe stars have a significant effect on one's destiny and that's the reason why I am really apprehensive about Gaurav's fate on Friday the 13th. He is actually practicing twice as much so that his performance is unaffected by this unlucky day. I just hope that everything goes well and Gaurav wins."

On asking Rin Mera Star SUPERSTAR' Celeb guest and television diva, Aamna Sharif, the Kashish of Kahin Toh Hoga fame, about her views on the phobia of the number 13 and Friday the 13th, paraskavedekatria phobia as it is known, she replied, "A Friday on the 13th day of any month is considered to be a day of bad luck in English-speaking cultures around the globe but I have always believed that number 13 is lucky for some and unlucky for some so I don't know what the outcome of the episode will be… As for the contestants of this episode, I sincerely hope that it is lucky for all four of the contestants."

Dharvi, the wonderful actress from Jaipur, comments with a wisdom which belies her age, "One should not be too worried about the results. I believe in putting in my best efforts and leave the rest to God. And no amount of bad luck can change your destiny. In the end it's only your efforts which will make a difference. Friday the 13th does not bother me and I feel it should not bother my fellow contestants as well."
