It's Still You
Kria came out of the kitchen with a bowl of her favorite ice-cream in her hands and sat down on the sofa watching TV. It was another just another normal Saturday night and she was waiting for her 5 months boyfriend Shivam to come back. Kria was never in love with Shivam, the only reason she dated him was to forget her ex Rey.
Rey, the name was much to get a smile on her face. Their breakup was the most painful thing that had ever happened to her.
He was on a business tour when he broke up with her 7 months back, it was when they were talking on phone Rey suddenly said "I wanna breakup with you" and ended the call without even a clue or any try to give any kind of an explanation, leaving behind a totally broken Kria who did nothing but cried all day all night remembering Rey and thinking what was her mistake, what wrong did she do to anyone, was she so bad that Rey took no time to even think of what he was doing, WHY?? all these long days, a whole of 2 months only thing she did and had were questions and questioning them to just nobody around, basically she was dying every second of life till her best friend Sam dragged her for partying, shopping, clubbing where she met Shivam.
By time Kria did change alot, she dyed her hair black with a a few purple strands at the middle-bottom of her hair and got tattos imprinted where one said "time waits for no1" near wrist on the other side and the other on the neck saying "you're still the one".
For first two to two-and-half months Shivam was the best boyfriend one could ever have, he spent time with kria, brought flowers for her, hanged out but after this time he totally changed, he started staying out all day, he started staying drunk and even did hit kria really bad such that he left horrendous scars behind on her arms, which was the reason kria always wore full sleeve shirts.
thinking all this Kria drifted to sleep.
*BANG* Kria woke up at around 2 with the sound of the door being crashed to the wall and saw that monster coming to her, he sat nest to her and started kissing her roughly on her neck, he smelled alcohol and it was really disgusting, Shivam by the time forced her to the couch lying her down and came on top of her and started playing with the end of her shirt, pulling it up but kria where this was leading to and so she pushed him off, because kria never had sex with anyone except Rey.
"What is wrong with you?" shivam yelled as he followed kria to kitchen
"Just not in a mood" Kria murmured as she opened the fridge pretending to search something for to drink
She suddenly was pulled back by hair, of course it was Shivam and she knew it.
"I don't care when i wanna f**k you and you f**kin' obey me!" he said
"I'm not your toy" Kria yelled as he dragged her to bedroom and threw on the floor and said "you're not my doll sweetheart, you're my slave" and ended up giving a dark bruise on her cheek, and finished saying "right now i'm going out for clubbing but by the time i come back u better be in a mood Darling" and let leaving back crying kria on the floor.
Kria stood up and tried to open the door but it was locked just like always to which she shouted "I've had enough you monster" and she dressed up in a jeans and a purple jumper and stuffed some money along with her clothes in a snap back.
Looking out from her bedroom window she made sure that Shivam is nowhere around and as she got sure she jumped out of the hell.
But she had no idea of where to go cuz gong to Sam will be most unsafe as Sam's place will be the first thing he'll search in for her, finding out no way she sat on the bench in a park under the dark sky.
Suddenly her phone rang flashing Swayam's name.
"What does swayam want from me?"
Kria and swayam had been best friends but after her breakup with Rey she lost all contacts with everyone.
kria picked up the call
*conversation*
"Hello"
"Hey Kria, how are you?"
"erm not really good, hbu?
"Good, though i miss i lot, can we catch up and since ur not good we can talk over that too?"
"but i'm really far of your house"
"just tell me where you are, i'll pick you up"
"i'm in my favorite park"
"wow, what are you doin' there at this time? i'm just 15 mins away...i'll just reach"
"Thanks Swayu bye"

Kria's POV:
I really missed you Swayam, but what did suddenly made u remember me? Do u really miss me or is it just that the angels sent you for my help? If u miss me thn why did u...?

By the time Swayam's car stopped outside the park and as soon as Kria saw the car to which she ran fast to it and entered and even without a break she found herself encircled tight in swayam's arms where swayam wisphered
"i missed you bestie"
"i missed you too swayu" and both of them broke the hug.
"So tell me how...WHAT THE BLOODY HELL HAS HAPPENED TO YOU?" he yelled loud and shocked.
"what?" kria asked confused
"that...your your cheek, it's it's bruised" swayam said it worried.
To which Kria looked at the car's mirror and smiled lightly and whispered "Shivam" to which swayam stared her confused asking for an explanation
*sigh* "I'll tell you everything once we reach your place"
Swayam quietly nodded and drove to his home.
As soon as kria entered the home, she could hear those similar laughs once again, Nilesh, Amar and Bharat ran to her hugging her tight as soon as they saw her.
"we missed you Kria"
"i missed you all too"
"what's wrong with your face ?" Nilesh asked while three of waited for the explanation.
Kria looked around at all 4 of them and than asked them sit when she explained everything from why did she dated him and how he suddenly changed so much, every part of information without forgetting even one point and ended with a few tears in her eyes.
All four of them hugged her tight with moist eyes when there was a knock on the door.
Amar went to open it.
"Kria you can stay with us here for as long you want" Swayam said
"Thank you, but who's us?"
"Me and Nilesh"
"Really, Sharon is ok with it?" kria teased
"Yes she is" came a voice from behind to which she turned around finding Sharon, Neha and Vicky standing there.
Kria ran and hugged three of them tight.
"we missed you so much Kria" Neha said
"me too"
"Wow babe what's up with you?" Sharon confirmed while holding Kria's cheek.
Kria re-explained everything leaving Vicky totally torn apart.
"It's ok, he's your past now" Sharon said while she came and sat next to her.
the strong silence was finally broken by Swayam when he said
"The main reason why we've got you here is Rey" kria looked at him totally confused
"he's never anymore seen in parties or get togethers, even the business is getting ruined after you guys broke up, he's totally lost"
"Then why did he broke up with me?"
"none of us know, and now we want you to go talk to him"
"But he's the one who broke up with me, who hanged upon me, and not me"
"But he thinks that you'll never forgive him"
"because i really won't"
"come on Kria we all know u guys are meant to be, atleast give it a try, just talk to him once please Kria"
Kria leave from there to the kitchen gets out a bottle of water and pours it into a glass and sat on the table giving it all a thought. Thinking whether he loves you, does he need you and most importantly did she love him??
Her thoughts were cut by Neha who was sitting next to her
"Look Kria i know u still love Rey and so does he but you both are just too stubborn to fix it up, and so don't think with your brain today, just give your heart the opportunity to take this decision" saying this she left for the living room.
After thinking for a minute she followed her to the living room
"Hey Swayam, can you drive me to rey's house?"
"sure" he said while nodding his head accompanied by a big smile
Everyone shouted out of joy before Kria followed Swayam to his car and to which she just smiled hard with a tint of blush.
What do i even say to him?
"let your heart speak beautiful" swayam said as he stopped in front of rey's house
"good luck, and if anything just call me"
"thank you" she said hugging him tight and thn left
Kria went to knock the door but stepped back and took a deep breathe and finally knocked the door.
"Rey?" she asked, shocked enough
"Kria?" he asked, amazed, he was looking...awful. Dark circle under his eyes, so pale, and his hair looked no less a garbage bin, a real big mess.
"come in" he said as she entered, she saw that the house was just the way she left it last time, even their picture together was still hugging the wall tight.
"sit down, you want anything to drink?"
"no rey, i just wanna talk to you" she replied as she sat on the couch
"sure, but about what?" he asked as he sat next to kria
"why?"
"why what?"
"why did u break up with me?"
There was a silence when rey finally spoke.
"because i saw how much i hurted you, staying away for months because of business tours, not being with you in any kinds of gatherings, you always had to stay alone and even feel alone at all the parties, gatherings, meeting, when all those went on dance floors with their partners you only stood ther all alone, just because i wasn't there and i din't want you to be hurt so i thought it'll best if we broke up, but i ended up hurting you and me even more, just hanging upon without any explanation or anything, maybe if we would have talked, we could have sorted out the matter in a better way, but no i had to be stupid to ruin everything up.
he broke down saying this, kria examined if what he was saying was true or not, she knew that Rey never lie.
"Rey do you still love me?"
"Yes i do, with all my heart, but how does it anymore make a difference, you have a boyfriend"
"No, i don't" she protested
"what?" rey looked confused at her
*refresh guys*
Kria explained everything to him, while he checked her hands, her arms, her face, her back which were all filled with painful bruises. As soon as kria ended up they both were crying and Rey hugged her tightly.
"I'm so sorry Kria, i'm just so sorry, the reason to all this is just me, only if i would have never left you, you wouldn't have had to go through all this, i'm so sorry, i'm just so sorry kria"
Kria pulled back and wiped his tears with her thumb and held her face in her palms getting lost in his dark brown orbs.
"Kria, can we please start it all over again? let's just remove the mask of lies and except that we're both regretting our break up"
"i don't know rey"
"please, i'll change back to what i was, infact ii'll get better, i'll love you even more, i promise i'll never be so stupid again, please, i love you, i love you Kria!"
she once again look at his eyes before leaning closer to him until their forehead and nose touched each other.
"i love you too Rey"
They both smiled and crashed their lips together, kissing passionately, which first went rough cuz they both missed each other's lips so darn much that they couldn't wait for a second to take each other in as much possible, the kiss went smoother with time as they got satisfied with each other's presence, with those smooth pink lips which belonged only to them and no one else.
They both pulled back smiling hard with Kria's eyes were closed and moist and Rey was staring at her, to which Rey kissed her both eyes making her open her eyes slowly and looking at him.
"thank you for giving me a second chance Kria"
"and you better not ruin it Mr. Singhania" showing fake attitude and thn they both shared laugh
"u've changed alot" he said lookin at her hair
"I've even got tattoos"
"but u said u hated them"
"I don't anymore, cuz they reminded me of you"
She then showed him her tattoos and they both left for his bedroom.
he gave her one of his shirts as she left her bag pack back at Swayam's house, they both then laid down on the bed when he placed his one hand around her waist moving her closer and the other playing with her hair and she placed one hand on his waist feeling his back and other on his neck, ruffling his hair slowly, and the legs were placed on each other's with the least of proximity possible such that they could hear each other's breath and heartbeats which took their names respectively.
"i missed this so much"
"so did I Rey"
He look intensely in her eyes and gave her a goodnight kiss.
"I love you Kria"
"I love you too Rey"
