jeevika - "Gosh I can't believe Veera did all this. God knows where we are going"
viren - "Seriously, that girl is too much sometimes. But I'm very thankful to her for planning this. Well everything, I got you back because of her jeevs. I can't tell you how incomplete my life was without you. Nothing felt right when you weren't with me jeevs"
Jeevika had started crying listening to Viren's words. Viren just wiped away her tears and kissed her gently.
viren - "Nothing will separate us now jeevs. Never am I going to let you go know"
jeevika - "I know Viren, I'm not scared of that now. But I just want Veera to get better. She's such an angel and we can't afford to loose someone like her"
viren - "We won't let anything happen to her. I've done a bit of research and was going to show it to you today, but Veera sent us here"
Soon the driver stopped the limo and opened the doors for Viren and Jeevika. They both got out and Viren's phone beeped.
"Finish your lunch at this restaurant. There's a reservation made under your name. And when you're done the driver will take you to the Staple's Center to watch a basketball game. Yeah you must be wondering why a basketball game? Well you're going to propose to my bhabhi again! This time in a cooler way at half time and it will be shown on the big screen. And I managed to get her ring off somehow and its in a little pouch inside the limo next to the fridge. Have fun" - Veera
Viren could't stop smiling at the text message. He started laughing and Jeevika found it funny.
jeevika - "What's happening? Tell me"
viren - "Nothing, let's go inside. Actually go and ask them for a table for my name, I'll be right back"
Jeevika went inside the restaurant and Viren went back into the limo and found the pouch. He took it and put it in his back pocket. Viren soon went inside too and some waiter directed him to the table where Jeevika was sitting.
viren - "Wow this place is super nice. Love the view of the city"
jeevika - "I know, its gorgeous. OMG this makes sense now"
viren - "What?"
jeevika - "When I was coming back from India and I met Veera, I told her how one of my friends proposed to his girlfriend at this restaurant and it was the most romantic story i had heard. No wonder"
viren - "That girl is way to sly"
jeevika - "Just like her brother. You're quite unromantic though"
viren - "Really know?"
Viren and Jeevika enjoyed their lunch together and spending time with one another after the longest time. It was the first time they were alone ever since they got back together. Jeevika never felt like this day would ever happen, but it was. It was more like a dream than reality.
jeevika - "Viren, can I tell you something?"
viren - "Of course babes"
jeevika - "I don't want to have a big wedding, in fact I just want to get married in court. Just have our families by our side and thats it. I'd rather enjoy the time with our families and not waste money on a big wedding feeding hundreds of people. We can get Veera's treatment done with all that money?"
viren - "Jeevika, just think about it though. It's the one day that every girl dreams of where hundred of people see how beautiful she looks. Don't worry about her treatment, everything will be fine. But its our wedding, its our day"
jeevika - " I know Viren, but family is more important than anything. Why don't we do one thing?"
viren - "What?"
Jeevika told Viren what she wanted to do instead of having a big fat indian wedding. Viren liked her idea also and agreed it would be more enjoyable.
viren - "Okay we'll plan this later, before there's another surprise for you"
jeevika - "Really, what is that?"
viren - "Wait and see"
Viren and Jeevika went back to the limo. Viren got another bag out from there and there were two LAKER jerseys.
jeevika - "What are you serious?!?! We're going to the basketball game?"
viren - "Yup, court side tickets baby"
jeevika - "You're the best"
viren - "I know, but uhm it wasn't me. It was Veera and Virat"
jeevika - "No wonder, it shocked me for a moment on how you could think of doing something that special for me. I love the LAKERS omg I'm so excited now Viren"
viren - "Calm down, I can see you excitement"
They soon reached the Staples Center and waited in line to go inside. Jeevka was as excited as a little girl going to her first concert. She was a huge LAKERS fan and it was nearly impossible on getting tickets for the games in season. Viren and jeevika were both wearing their LAKERS jerseys and got settled inside soon enough. They game was really fun, but Viren was so nervous. He was all red and scared of what would happen at halftime. Thousands of people would be watching him and Jeevika, plus thousands sitting at home watching the game from the tv, and most of all Veera. As soon as the halftime noise rung, there was an announcement being made.
"Ladies and Gentleman, we have a very special announcement to make. Please take a look at the screen nearest to you"
Soon all the camera's had Viren and Jeevika there. Viren was red, and Jeevika was shocked as hell. She was so numb, not believing anything happening. Viren got down on one knee.
viren - "Jeevika, ever since Ive met you, you've changed my life. You've changed me. Once upon a time, when I closed my eyes all I saw was darkness. Today when I close my eyes, all I see is you and the happiness you've spread in my life. I promise to do the same for you. Will you marry me?"
Jeevika was crying like a little girl. She nodded with a big yes and extended her hand out. Viren put the ring on her finger making her his once again. He went in for a kiss and Jeevika gave in as well, while everyone around them and at the game couldn't stop saying "AWWW" Viren wiped away Jeevika's tear and hugged her. Both of their phone's had started buzzing like crazy. Even though they were technically engaged, no one besides their family knew. Now the whole world knew and were congratulating the two. Some of their friends even recorded the game on their tv and sent them pictures of their tv screens. Jeevika was to darn happy, and had no intent to watch the game anymore. She wanted to leave and scream in excitement. They both left before the second half of the game even begun.
jeevika - "Viren, i seriously can't believe a person like you just proposed to me in front of the entire world. I love you Viren"
viren - "Love makes you do the craziest things, II couldn't believe I was going to do it either. But when I looked into your eyes, it just felt so right. I love you jeevs"
They both started kissing each other again outside the arena. Seemed like the kiss was never going to end. The driver soon dropped both of them back to Viren's house. They both entered the house and saw Virat who had a huge smile on his face.
virat - "Wow, can't believe my bhai has that much guts. Proud of you bro. Congrats once again"
Viren and Jeevika both smiled.
jeevika - "Where's Veera?"
virat - "She's gone to sleep. She was quite exhausted and plus she has her first class tomorrow"
viren - "Okay, are you going somewhere?"
virat - "Yeah if you're home now, I had to go to the library to study. I'll see you guys later"
viren - "Okay bye"
Virat left soon thereafter.
jeevika - "I think I should leave too"
viren - "Yah right. You're not going anywhere tonight" he said lifting her up and taking her to his bedroom.
Jeevika was blushing, but enjoying all this attention from Viren. He placed her on his bed. Jeevika was nervous of what Viren was about to do, but she trusted him. He went close to her starting to kiss her. He slowly removed her clothes, one piece at a time. Every time he touched her, she felt chills in her body. It felt so right to be in his arms. She felt so secure with him. There was a feeling she never felt before. It was like Viren would protect her through thick and thin. That night she gave herself away to Viren.
They both fell asleep soon, until Jeevika heard something. She couldn't find her clothes, so she went to Viren's closet and quickly got his tshirt out and found a pair of pajamas and quickly put it on. She ran outside hoping Veera was alright. When she went out, she couldn't believe her sight!!!
