part 12:
dipali and all turn backwards and are shocked. suddenly all the lights go off and the spotlight is thrown on madhu and rk who are descending down the stairs. madhu is surprised by this sudden attention and tightly clutches rk's arm.
all watched in pin drop silence as kate and petruchio walk down the stairs. dipali , trishna and yuvi were jealous and annoyed. most of them were discussing how perfect the two looked with each other.
then came miss t .she told everyone about her play and it's lead cast.
soon the party regained its pace and khushi came to madhu.
khushi : why were you late?? anyway you made a grand entry.
madhu : it's because of him (points at rk)
rk : me?? by the way hi khushi!!
khushi : hi!!! you're looking good.
rk : only good (he saw madhu raised an eyebrow. madhu was never comfortable with his and khushi's friendship.)
khushi: no i mean...handsome.
rk : that's better.
soon everyone was invited on the dance floor. rk-madhu and arnav-khushi too went.
rk held madhu's hand and placed it on his shoulder and he grabbed her waist firmly. she was light as a feather. yuvi was dancing with dips and he was trying to come close to madhu. rk noticed this and he suddenly pulled madhu out of the dance floor .
he held her hand and took her to the side.
madhu : what happened? you could have even told me.
rk : that...that yuvi . can't you see he was trying to touch you!!!
madhu : i know that. he is creepy.
rk : what do you mean you know that?? how could you stay silent??
madhu : look i don't want to create ant fuss here.
rk : but i am not going there. and i don't like if he touches you.
rk suddenly realised what he had said. so he quickly turned around and went to arnav. madhu was still shocked by what he said.
just then khushi came and they both started chatting.
dipali bribed waiter and asked her to spike khushi's drink.
a minute later the waiter came with a drink and khushi accepted it but just then miss t announced a paper dance competition.
khushi was all excited to take part in it . so she went to dance floor and handed her drink to madhu.
madhu sipped her drink as she watched khushi pleading arnav to participate.
soon arnav agreed and the two entered the contest. madhu didn't wanted to participate as she didn't wanted to face rk again.
a little later she felt her head spinning.
madhu quickly rushed to washroom. rk noticed this and he followed her.
madhu was inside girls washroom so he knocked outside.
rk : madhu are you okay?
madhu : (weakly) yes...i mean no.
rk : what happened??
madhu didn't replied. rk called her name thrice but she didn't replied. he was getting nervous.
rk :madhu i am asking you last time and if you don't reply i am going to come inside.
madhu didn't replied so rk slowly pushed the door and was shocked on seeing madhu lying senseless on ground. she must have fainted.
he quickly went to her and placed her head on his lap.
rk :open your eyes dammit!! look at me. you are alright.
then he sprinkled water on her face and she slowly opened her brown caramel eyes.
rk was relived on seeing her.
rk :you frightened me madhu.
he helped he get up. madhu instantly pulled away from him.
madhu : what are you doing here??
rk : horse riding.
madhu : shut up rk!!
rk : let me tell you that you fainted miss. now lets go.
he holds her hand and walks towards the door but madhu pulls her hand back.
madhu : i am alright .
she starts to go but is again about to fall when rk catches her.
madhu : i can manage...
rk : (grabs her and pins her to the wall) shut up!!!! i can see how well you are. now you are coming with me. let arnav and khushi enjoy their prom night.
madhu : and what about you??
rk :i destroyed my prom night the minute i agreed to come with you.
madhu : what??
rk : and now come with me.
madhu : no i won't . i don't want to be near you.
rk :(realising she was drunk) we are already too close madhu.
madhu : you can't force me. i will scream.
rk : (brings his face more closer. his hairs were touching her forehead) i can easily shut your mouth ( he then slowly brings his lips closer to her but stops in between.)
he then grabs her and the two quietly sneak out of the party without anyone noticing.
khushi and arnav were winning the contest and their only competitor left were arjun and lavanya. khushi was determined to defeat them at any cost.
again miss t asked them to fold the paper. it was too small for both of them. so khushi removed her heels and placed her feets gently on arnav's shoes. he quickly held her to prevent her from falling. again their eyes locked.
rk and madhu came to parking lot. he made her sit and fastened her seat belt.
but as per anjali's plan their car broke down in the middle of the way. rk looked out and saw the totally blank road.
madhu who was sitting still uptil now started to laugh.
rk : don't laugh madhu. i didn't knew only one drink can cause this much trouble.
madhu :(giggles) your things stop working whenever i am around.
rk :what??
madhu : first your head , then your door ,then your heart and now this car.
yes she was right his heart stopped pounding and brain stopped functioning every time she was around.
rk tried to call arnav but he was out of reach due to improper signals.
he then picked madhu's phone but she was already on cloud nine and didn't remembered her password.
so asking for lift was the only option left.
madhu too came out of the car though she was standing with car's support.
rk asked for lift but only one car stopped. the person asked rk if they were husband wife to which he declined and the car went away.
now it became clear to him that people were ready to give lift to husband-wife but not to any boy and girl together.
suddenly madhu went to the corner and threw up.
rk went to her and gave her the water bottle from car.
just then a car stopped in front of them. a middle aged couple was sitting inside.
lady : (to rk ) any problem son?
rk : ya our car broke down and she is not feeling well (poining towards madhu who was still puking)
lady :she is?
rk : my wife!!
lady: (smiles) oh!! then no problem. you come inside.
the lady gets out of the car and goes to madhu and helps her to get inside the car.
madhu was feeling weak so she falls asleep on rk's shoulder.
he puts his other arm around her to prevent her from falling.
lady : i am jenny and he is victor my husband.
rk : nice to meet you. i am rishab kundra
lady :and she?
rk :she is madhubala mal...no madhubala rishab kundra. (oh god it sounded so weird to share his name with anyone.)
victor: when did you get married son?
rk : married?? oh yes!! we got married six months back.
lady: that's too early!!
rk : for what?
lady : for a child son. she is throwing up and has that baby glow on her face.
rk :child???
victor :it's their personal decision jenny. nowadays couples are becoming young parents.
rk :parents??
jenny : yes son . not that she is expecting you should take extra care of her. you should be out so late that too in these early months.
rk : but...
victor: is it a boy or girl?
jenny : how will they now victor? (to rk ) son she is beautiful. your baby will be as cute as you two.
rk had no option but o nod his head in acceptance. but one thing he was sure about was that she was definitely very beautiful.
victor: what do you want boy or girl?
rk : (looks at madhu sleeping peacefully and smirks) twins!!!
