The newly married couple Karan Mehra aka Naitik of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus) and Nisha Rawal had a low profile New Year celebrations.
"I wasn't supposed to be getting an off yesterday (31 December 2012) but at the last minute I got a holiday. Thus, we did not really get to plan much with friends.
However, we celebrated it with Nisha's brother and sister-in-law," shared Karan.
Tell him it's his first New Year with Nisha post their wedding and he says, "Yes, this is our first New Year together but as I wasn't aware of the leave, I couldn't plan anything in particular."
The couple is also seen in Nach Baliye 5.
