Chapter 15

Swayam's POV: (Next Morning)

It's 8:45, I have to reach there by 9 anyhow, I don't know why Gautum dad called me in the morning so urgently, He wanted to talk to me alone without anyone's knowledge before we left for New York. Everyone is at the airport waiting for me I had to lie to Sharon telling her I forgot something at mom and dads house, I hate lying to her but then it's what my father in law had asked me to do I couldn't not respect his request because something in my heart told me it has something to do with Sharon, I seriously hope it's nothing serious.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by the sudden jerk of the taxi which signalled that I had reached my destination, paying the taxi driver his fare I made my way into the RaiPrakash mansion it was mostly empty except for the servents because Smriti mom was at the airport with everyone. I knocked on the door, the nurse answered the door

"Come, come Swayam beta I was waiting for you only", he said while trying to sit up.

I quickly reached upto him and helped him sit up resting his back against the bed post. He picked up some letters which were placed besides him on the side table. I wonder what the connection of Sharon with these letters.

"Swayam, I know this may be a little hard to take in for you but these letters are one of my reasons for asking Sharon to marry you", he began but it confused me even more.

He sighed before continuing, "Jay is after Sharon, Jay is Raj's brother and pretty much wants revenge for Raj's death so these letters say that he will complete Raj's incomplete work which is um..ummm... just read the letter you will come to know.

Hesitantly I took the letters from his hand and opened one of them it says that once Jay is freed from jail he is going to come for Sharon and finish all the dirty thoughts which Raj had for Sharon that he will repeatedly keep on raping her till either he dies or she dies, he will avenge Raj's death at any cost.

Shocked I let the letter slip from my hand.

"Beta I know you have some SWAT training, and you were a SWAT officer before Rohan came please I insist you to protect my daughter I beg of you", He said concern clearly flashing in his eyes. "There is possibilty that he may never get to Sharon but please son she has been through a lot of trauma and is not emotionally stable currently, I'll die a happy man knowing that my daughter is in safe hands", He begged.

Unable to form words I simply nodded, This all started because of me if I hadn't left her alone that night Raj would have never able to kidnap her, but I have to take care of I cannot risk his life with mine. I would come up with something to keep both of them safe that instant I vowed to myself that no one will ever lay a finger on Sharon and Rohan to harm then, I vow to protect them with all my life.

With that I touched his feet for blessings and left for airport.

I reached the airport in 20 minutes, I quickly reached upto where Sharon and Rohan were seated in the cafeteria I needed reassurance, I needed to feel her make sure she is safe. She was seated there playing with Rohan when she spotted me she made Rohan wave towards my direction. I smiled at the scene before me and pulled them both in a long embrace.

I pulled away after I was somewhat satisfied that she was safe. Soon after that our flight was announced. 17 long hours again but this time I was more that happy I had the love of my life rest her head against my chest and sleep peacefully on one side and my son on the other. So I peacefully let sleep overtake me.

Sharon's POV:
(fast forward 17 hours, New York)

Finally we reached New York I was so excited to see Swayam's house. Swayam was behaving very odd and overprotective since we boarded the flight. I don't know what's wrong or why is he so worried but I guess he is not ready to tell me what is that, that has kept him so worried so I let be slide.

I so wanted to talk to Swayam about college. After that incindent I could not complete my studies I could not stand to be around so many people but since I have met Swayam I have enough confidence in me to finish my studies, I really hope he lets me. I remember from childhood it was my dream to become a designer.

I decided that I would talk to him in the night right now he was on a phone call with Taani and Shivam. With that being done I flopped myself on the bed taking a sketch pad and pencil from my bag and started sketching. After the sketch was done I took a look at the sketch and let out a large scream, It was a picture of one of my nightmares Raj covered in blood and a lifeless body laying under his leg.

Suddenly the dorr flew open bringing a tensed and worried Swayam in view he just ran upto me and pulled me in a soft and comforting embrace he kept rubbing my bag in a soothing manner and kept murmuring comforting words. Confused I did not realise why was he trying to soothe me that when I noticed endless tears flowing down from my eyes I flung my arms around his neck trying to use his body heat and warmth to calm myself.

"What happened, why did you scream?", He asked once my crying settled down that when he noticed the sketch pad on the bed sighing he blew out a shaky breath.

"Baby girl your such a talented artist, please don't yourself by remembering all those things draw something that makes you happy" I shook my head.

"This is not something that I can control", I said shakily.

"I hope my love will be enough for you to heal in time" he said sounding somewhat hopeful.

"Love is not what I need Swayam, right now I am in need of a friend" I snapped at him pushing him away a little.

"If a friend is what you need that is what I will be, I'll be whatever you want me to be, if that is what makes you happy"

"Can I ask you a favour?" I asked nervously playing with my fingers.

"Your wish is command" he said fake bowing in a fake british accent.

"I wanted to join college and complete my studies" I said still not meeting his eyes.

"If that is what want we will start searching for the best college for you from tomorrow."

"But then who will take care of Rohan?"

"I forgot to tell you since Taani has accepred Rohan back she wants to spend more time with Rohan and even Shivam wants to get to kniw him so he going to stay with them for a while and don't worry they are our neighbours kind off so he is not going anywhere far" he said trying to not show his emotions but he is not a very good actor I know how much he cares for Rohan.

"We don't have to..." I started but he cut me off.

"He needs to spend time with Shivam, this is necessary." without thinking I pulled him into a hug I know it's very hard for him to do this. I don"t know how he is going to cope with this. Sighing I went into the kitchen for preparing dinner.

After dinner, We both tugged Rohan in his bed and retired for the night.

Beautiful chapter dear ...the Swayam-Sharon father was painful...could feel a fathers pain...he is worried for his daughter ...Swayam's determination to protect her was well written...He was ready to heal thrugh his love...she needs only frndship...cant wait to see how this story will move further ...

It was an amazing update manu...

liked the twist there...

Sharon is so disturbed n it's still so difficult for her to get out of the impact her past has made..hope Swayam will get her out of it soon..being a friend n a lover at the same time :)

Swayam will surely be able to protect her from that jay...hope so...

update sooner please...

Quite an interesting update. I have not thought their are some more villains left in the story. It would be interesting to see how the story unfolds now. Loved the way Swayam pulled both Rohan and Sharon in a hug at the airport. It was a beautiful scene which awesomely descibes how much he loves them both. Sharon's part still makes me feel sad on thinking how much trauma she is still undergoing. Awesomely written. And yeah looking forward to see how the various incident which were mentioned here like - Sharon deciding to join college, Rohan meetng with Shivam etc. will decide the course of event in future.
