I was just wondering why nice serial like Resham Dankh is not popular? Is it because the Indian viewers are used to crying sagas and family conspiracies or is it because Resham Dankh is not being shown on a popular TV channels or because it is not being marketed well? Plesae give your suggestions or choose one given above. 😳

Resham Dankh is a fabulous show.It is not doing well in USA becoz ....
Direct TV is not as popular platform as Dish Network.I just found this info from some friends

# Dish Network veiwers are under contract for 2
yrs,they cannot switch .Switching means heavy
penalty.Sony & zee may have something to do with it

# Most expensive Homes have 1 cable line in each room
& regular homes may have 2 cable lines overall
causes poor satellite transmission.

# Needs good Marketing

RESHAM DHANK IS NOT POPULAR IN UAE AS WE DONOT GET STAR ONE CHANNEL,WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO DOWN LOAD VIDEOS TO WATCH THE SHOW

well i think its not popular because

because of its timeslot of 9:30 -10:00 when zee airs one of its most popular soap saathphere
star one which is not available in many staes in india n abroad
n less publicity
one of the major drawback is its time slot
n so the show isnt that popular
otherwise it has a great suspense element a great story n a great star cast

I think it hasn't been Marketed good enough!

In US...u can still get DirecTV if u have Dish Network...u just need 2 seperate dish...we have dish network but we keep it just for Zee, TV Asia, Sony, B4U Music n Movies, Z Cinema, Sahara One, Sahara News, n Aaj Tak...which is preety damn good!

DirectTV is for regular Cable n Star Plus/News/One, MTV Desi, and one more hindi channel

all the reasons gives by all of u are ryt 😃 but if kekta's soaps are so popular den why dun resham dankh. 😕 😕 .even its the best family serial 😃 no rona-dhona at all n its really a good combo of all the stuffs . 👏

As Anu said, it is mainly because of the time slot. Even I think so. It comes very late and here in UAE< we don't get Star ONE. Resham Dankh is a very unique and different show compare to other daily soaps and I definately think it deserves to be popular!
