Everything else was spoken from a practical point of view -- how she couldn't leave two young kids (she should have said she loved PayPal too then right?), how Yash gave Ansh a name (she should have said he loved Ansh right?)... see telling Prashant that she loved Yash would do no good and Aarti realized that.

If she can say she is someone elses wife then she could have just said she loves Yash.

Sorry Kaylas I had a completely different view. I thought the episode was beautiful. I loved Aarti's speech. She was talking to Prashnat and not Yash. Prashant was her world before Yash stepped in. It was very important for her to let him know the extent of pain and devastation he dealt her after giving her, 'an orphan girl', the world. Her pain and devastation regarding Prashnat was irrespective of her feelings for Yash. It was her relationship with Yash that showed her that Prashant was not worthy of her waiting around forever for him but there was no reason whatsoever for her to make Prashant see how much she loves Yash.

But it was destiny that not only Prashant but Yash was too a witness to her speech that was laced with pain and angst. If she had come out and told Yash the truth she would have never presented the true picture of how hurt she was at Prashant's leaving. She would have never told him the extent of hurt she went through in her earlier marriage.I think it was very important for Yash to get a true picture of her pain which he will see after his own anger and hurt has mellowed down a bit. I too did not expect it to come out this way but now that it has and I have time to assimilate all the nuances, I love it to the core. 😃

and precisely for that reason, aarti needs to tell how much she loves Yash...not directly to him maybe, maybe to Prashant again, and this time once again yash should overhear. Because any sane man in Yash's place would believe she is still in love with Prashant after yesterday's episode!

Aarti's speech did not go down well with me as well as many others.and I think cvs should know it, so that they can repair the damage!
