Who better than Ekta Kapoor to talk about the dual personality of Geminis. In a no-holdsbarred interview, the soap queen talks about her many faces

Geminis are known for their dual personalities and Ekta Kapoor's a Gemini to the core. Self-admittedly so. Here's what she has to say about this definitive trait in her own words...
DUAL PERSONALITY:
I'd read Linda Goodman's book where she says marrying a Gemini woman is like marrying a harem. You wake up with a new woman everyday! I can be child-like, but at the same time I can be extremely fun too. Then, I can be extremely guarded and arrogant too. I can be very petty at times and extremely generous. Some times, I'm just a kid roaming around my house, laughing, joking with everyone; then a sourpuss not talking to anybody. At times I get completely melancholic, thinking about my life, philosophical, completely sublime. Sometimes, I'm a total puritan. I believe in following the so-called conformed path. And then there are times, I'm completely bohemian. I'm anti-norm to the peak! I've adjusted to this dul personality of mine. A lot of people who work with me find it extremely difficult or extremely fascinating to adjust to a person like me. Just last week, someone told me 'I thought Geminis had dual personalities, but now I think they have many more. You are not two, you are atleast seven to eight personalities, and every time you spin a new one to me.' My mother and father have adjusted to this Gemini trait of mine. But if you ask them what am I like, that's the toughest answer. It's everyday a new colour. My brother Tusshar is easy to describe, but I'm not. He is more consistent.
A BOON IN DISGUISE:
I have an agile mind. That's why I can become any character. I'm as comfortable with a Kahiin To Hoga, which is young, vibrant and extremely sexual in the chemistry between the hero and heroine, as I am with a traditional Tulsi-Mihir scene. I live these parts. I become these people when I create the characters and the only way I can do that is because I have a Gemini mind. It is like a chess board coming up with ideas on how to take these characters forward. You have to live their psyches. A Gemini mind allows you to do that. If you have only one pattern of thinking, then you can't think like any other person.
IT HAS ITS DISADVANTAGES TOO:
You are constantly not able to conform to your own likes and dislikes! I can't really say I dislike this person because I might dislike a person a lot, but at times, I get very forgiving when I'm in a good mood. My biggest problem is I can't sustain anger. And that's a problem because sustained anger is a smart person's quality. If you have sustained anger, you don't say anything at that moment. It simmers, it stays and you make a move another time. It's a smart Scorpion trait. Geminis don't have anything that is deep-rooted to stay on. Not even anger. It's very peripheral. If there's a problem, people in my office always hope that my mobile is switched off for two hours atleast because I will calm down by then. They fear that if my mobile is on, I might say something so wrong that could spoil everything for later. Yes, I react without weighing the pros and cons. It's instant reaction. It is a flaw. Everyone who knows me tells me that.
