virat - "What bhai?"

viren - "Here give her this food and I'll be right back"

Viren quickly left his house and drove almost 15 minutes. He reached the campus of USC and quickly tried finding parking. He didn't know if what he was about to do was right or not, but it was a matter of his sister, the most valuable thing to him. He went to one of the apartments and rung he doorbell. Jeevika opened the door and she seemed irritated. She was about to shut the door before Viren pleaded her not to.

viren - "Jeevika please listen me out for 2 minutes please. It's about Veera"

jeevika - "What is it"

viren - "Uhm…" Viren was lost not knowing what he should say to her.

jeevika - "Viren is she okay?"

viren - "Actually Jeevika, I think she's hiding something from us. From me and Virat. And I don't think she's comfortable enough telling us what happened. If you don't mind can you talk to her"

Jeevika went back into her house and quickly got her jacket and car keys while Viren stood outside unknown to what she was doing. She came out locked her house and started walking towards her car. Viren quickly followed her understanding that she agreed to talk to his sister. She was about to get in her car when Viren said…

viren - "Jeevika you can come in my car with me. I'll drop you back."

jeevika - "It's okay Viren, I don't need your help"

viren - "I know you don't, but I need your help. Please I can drive you there"

Jeevika just glared at Viren and sat in the passenger seat. She started shivering and Viren saw that so he turned the heat on and again she just looked at him. She couldn't believe she was going back to Viren Vadhera's house. She knew she was going to get hurt going back to his house with all her memories with him, but she wanted to make sure Veera was alright. She hated to admit it, but she knew she still had a soft corner for Viren in her heart. They soon reached Viren's home and he opened the door. Jeevika walked inside to the kitchen where she saw Veera sitting outside in the backyard. Jeevika walked outside to the backyard while Viren stood at the kitchen with Virat.

virat - "Bhai I'm really getting worried now. She refused to eat, and she's just sitting outside crying"

viren - "I know, maybe she's just missing ma a lot. And its different living with two guys Virat. That's why I brought Jeevika maybe she'll tell her whats wrong"

virat - "Hopefully, but how did you manage to convince her to come?"

viren - "i just asked her once and she came"

virat - "Bhai I really think you need to sort out your differences with Jeevika. I mean like no one would have done this for us"

viren - "I know virat, i tried several times. But every time she refused to talk to me"

virat - "I know, but seriously it hurts seeing both of you like this. I mean she doesn't even know the full truth. She has the wrong idea about you bhai and all because of that bloody insane person Maya.

Before Viren could say more he saw Jeevika and Veera hugging tightly and it seemed as if Jeevika had started crying also. Viren and Virat really wanted to know now what could possible be wrong. Viren went outside and Virat followed. Just then Jeevika and Veera broke the hug.

jeevika - "Veera, I'll come pick you up in the evening. We'll go out and have a good time ,okay?"

Veera just smiled and then Jeevika went back inside the house and Viren followed her.

jeevika - "Can you drop me home please?"

viren - "Yeah sure, but why don't you eat first? I just made lunch"

jeevika - "Its okay Viren, you don't have to be formal with me. Can you drop me if not I can manage"

viren - "No of course i can, lets go"

Viren opened the door to the car for Jeevika and she sat in. She hated how Viren was being this nice to her. It bugged her more and she wanted to forget about him.

jeevika - "Uhm Viren, I'll come to your place around 7. If you don't mind, I'm going to take Veera out for a bit."

viren - "no not at all. Thank you jeevika for doing this for me"

jeevika - "No viren this is not for you. If it was for you i would have shut the door the minute you came to meet me. I did this for Veera" and with that she got out of the car and walked back to her apartment.

viren - "How do I get her to talk to me?"

Viren then drove home and saw Virat trying to talk to Veera on the couch.

veera - "Bhai, can I ask you one thing" she said to viren

viren - "Ask"

veera - "Jeevika is the girl right? She was the one that you fell in love with?"

viren - "And why do you think that?"

veera - "Because you brought her here for me. I mean how did you know who Jeevika was."

Viren and Virat just stood there silent with no words left to say. Veera's head started throbbing again with pain. Both of them took her back upstairs to her room.
