Thanks for the PM. Loved the update. It's actually a good thing that Khushi read the messages. Now she knows how much Arnav cares about her. Like that Arnav defended her. What Arnav said is right. They should at least maintain a decent relationship.

Forced to Love? ~ Part 11

It was the last day of Arnav and Khushi's honeymoon. Things had been going quite smoothly, but that was only because Arnav avoided Khushi as much as he could. He had hoped Khushi hadn't noticed, but she had, and she wasn't too pleased. She preferred it that he wasn't trying anything on her, but she felt lonely.

Arnav was gathering all his stuff and Khushi watched as he sighed. Just then his phone began to ring. He smiled and answered it.

"Hey! I was wondering whether you were going to call me or not' I'm coming going back to Delhi this evening, when are you going to join me?"

There was a pause and Arnav laughed.

"Ha, yeah' Yeah, I'"

He looked at Khushi and his expression turned unreadable.

"I'll call you later."

With that, he disconnected the call and went back to packing.

"Who was that then?"

"Does it matter to you?"

"Well, not really."

"Then don't question me, I don't question you when you're on the phone, so don't do it to me please."

Khushi looked away. He'd changed; he didn't want to talk to her any more. But she couldn't blame him; this is what she had wanted from him.

Khushi left the room and Arnav watched her leave, his expression changed and softened. He hated being hard with her, but this is what she wanted. She wanted this marriage only for the happiness for her father; he had no right to make her love him. He would let her go and make sure he got over her at the same time, but for now, he would do as she had wanted. To move on and have fun.

Some time passed and Khushi made her way to their room. She heard that Arnav was on the phone.

"Yeah, I know what you're saying, but I can't come and see you. Me and Khushi are going back in a bit' I understand' No I can't! Yeah I know we hadn't seen each other in years, but now are have, I'll see you again soon. Yeah, bye."

He disconnected the call and put his phone to aside. Khushi held onto to the door knob and reality sunk in'

Later that evening they got home. Payal rushed over to Khushi and hugged her.

"I missed you so much Khushi! How was your honeymoon?"

Khushi looked over at Arnav who was talking to Akaash.

"It was great Jiji."

"I told you. Arnav ji would take so much care of you that you would forget about everyone else who's been in your life."

After speaking to everyone, ArHi went up to their room. They started putting all their stuff away when Akaash came and knocked on the door.

"Bhai, I forgot to tell you, there's an office party tomorrow at a hotel. I know you and Khushi bhabi are still tired, but you have to attend tomorrow evening."

Akaash left and Arnav turned to Khushi.

"You don't have to come if you don't want to. I know what happened the last time we went to a party together."

"Arnav I'm sorry about what happened that night. But I swear I didn't do anything stupid with him! And I know you're probably thinking that taking me out this time is a stupid thing to do, but I swear I won't leave your side this time and be a good wife to you in front of all your important clients and workers."

"Are you sure you wanna come?"

"Yes, please."

"Ok. You can join me."
