RK couldn't get it out of his head; neither Madhu's breakdown nor her kiss. He had married the girl of his dreams and there she was dressed in his shirt? He remembered undressing her and redressing her in the grandma night gown. Did he get a hold of his shirt by mistake? In any case, this was a mistake worth making. The white cotton accentuated her curves to the right degree. He wanted her, now more than ever. RK played his game, "Hello Venus". But, the words came out like a thug eve teasing a passerby.
"What hell you do last night? And, who Venus?" Madhu was in no mood for flirting.
"What did I do? Nothing. And, Venus, that was a compliment. You know Venus, the goddess of beauty?" RK tried his best defending himself from an infuriated Madhu while tried to button his shirt.
"So innocent. Then, why you no wearing clothes. Why I in your shirt?"
"I can explain", he stated like a robber caught in the act.
"Please".
"Well", RK was reminded of her flooding tears, her memories and her past that he did not want to revive. "We got wet and.."
"And", Madhu folded her arms and tapped her feet waiting to pound on RK.
"I changed you".
"You did what now?"
"I swear on my mother's life, I did not do anything stupid", he begged for mercy.
"Mother's life", she softened up.
"On my mother's life", he made his way to his lady.
"Okay", she caved in and smiled.
" So, we are good", he kissed her on the cheek.
"Not that good", she pushed him away.
The couple had been an unlucky bunch in all things love. RK had had his fair share of heartbreaks; Deepali being the most prominent one. Madhu, well, she had heart kills.

Madhu was lost in thought as she walked down the stairs with her hubby, their hands interlocked.
"Who have you got her me dark angel?", a heavily tattooed old man questioned his daughter.
"Run Sasha", the daughter asked her companion.
"Why the distance young man? If you are going to hang around me princess, you better introduce yourself first".
"Yes sir", a handsome young man shook his clean hands with the dirty old man. "I, I like your daughter and like her as my girlfriend". The old man raised an eyebrow. "Your permission, of course", Sasha added out of respect.
"You don't understand. He bad person. Go", the girl seemed opposed to her boyfriend visiting her dad. "Boris, don't do this. I beg", she folded her hands in front of her dad.
"Daddy, call me daddy. Come inside young man", Boris pushed the couple in forcibly. What Sasha saw inside was nothing short of a medieval dungeon. Human bones and skulls covered the floor. An old woman kept prisoner in heavy, metal chains. An electric chair lay in the far corner of the room and the air filled with the pungent smell of body fluids.
"It's blood", Sasha pointed to the red alcohol containers in the bar. "Come let's go", he pulled Madhu by the arm.
"Madhu is my property".
The tattooed man lifted Sasha up by the collar and threw him on the electric chair.
"Boris, let him go", Madhu clung to her father's feet.
"I said call me daddy. If you want to see your fling alive, call me daddy", he pointed a knife in her direction.
"D, d, daddy, let him go", Madhu tip toed behind Boris and tried to snatch his weapon. He caught her with his free hand. Boris made a deep cut on her arm.
"I won't stop at that next time and you know it", he rubbed some ash on her fresh wound. "That should soothe za. Now, grab me the toolbox and prep for surgery".
It was time for the dreaded operation. Boris had a signature style of torture. He would drain the blood out of his victims by operating on their sensitive spots. Most died from the unbearable pain. The ones who pulled through, he killed with repeated axe cuts, severing their limbs like wooden logs.
"You will die with you dead wish young man. And baby, you have a choice, either I give him a slow, painful death or you inject that needle and he will die peacefully. Your boyfriend's death is in your hands, choose wisely". Boris caressed Madhu's cheek and covered the side with her own blood.
Madhu picked up the needle with shaking hands. As she walked toward Sasha, every second felt like an eternity. Suddenly she felt Boris cut her way; his psychotic persona had taken over. Her father had become the Devil himself. He made precise incisions near Sasha's vital organs. Then, he proceeded to deepen the cuts. The pouring blood fueled his mania. Sasha's voiced curved from a loud shrieks of pain to mumbles and finally, silence. Madhu dropped herself on the floor in disbelief. Boris was busy skinning the corpse.
Madhu pulled her hair out, scratched herself and finally, attempted to stab herself with the deadly needle she held. Boris stopped her in time before she could end her misery.
"Let me baby die. Let her go to heaven. Kill her and save her the death she dies everyday. Just kill her", the captive old woman gathered all her energy to plead with her perpetrator.
His laughter mimicked that of the death angel, Gabriel. "You do not die until you have joined the dark side, princess. Not a feather left unturned". He threw Sasha's lifeless finger at Madhu, where their promise ring still clung.

"Madhu, are you okay? You just blacked out". RK sprinkled water as Madhu lay in his lap, with her eyes barely open.
She was no longer in the dungeon. Sasha's gruesome murder was all in the past. But, she was terrified of the history repeating itself.
"RK", she whispered as he helped her up, "I want you to know the truth now, your truth"
