no she wasn't............she still isn't till to date.

she hired someone to produce false reports that she was pregnant.

they did show them going to the Doc and implying that she was ready for insemination...............later they showed that a pregnancy report was recieved which Brijesh's sister opens and is about to congratulate Jiji's husband when Tara tells her the truth.
