The Flip side of the coin

The downside of these competitive programs wherein the public votes are taken in, is that usually personal favoritism comes in to account rather than the contestants performance or ability. It becomes totally subjective and many good performers are shown the door just because they failed to make an impact on the public. This has been happening to programs like Saregamapa, Idol etc.. and now is being repeated in Nach Baliye too, where people take a fancy towards a star-pairing and vote for/against them no matter how good or bad they are.
And the judges or their judgement have little impact on their liking/disliking a couple.

It really is sad that real talent is not being appreciated!

anyway...yeah i agree...like in Fame Gurukul...Qazi had been in the danger zone practically ALL rounds...yet he still won the title of Fame Jodi #1...the audience loved his talks (really enjoyed listening ot them 😆) and his performances...so they voted for him more than the actually good singers...thats how most competitions are lead...more famous people are voted rather than most talented

I really agree that voting procedure leads to favoritism and thus real talent doesnt come forward. But as far as NB2 is concerned or any such show where celebs r called to participate then that is for fun and to attract the fans. The more u love a person the more votes u will give and thus the channel earns. So in such shows the talent is not the focus. The main focus is too catch maximum viewers and have fun and gossip and onbviously earning money.

Well, its true, but at tymes rite. In fame Gurukul, for exmaple, the public is the one who is buying the album, not the judges, not the faculty. So dey do have a rite to decide whom dey wanna lissen to. I know many of u may think im wrong, but its jus my opionon, no harms means to any1
