Maan came home angry. He couldn't concentrate at work at all not after knowing Geet was watching him from the window. He sits on the couch thinking about Geet. What does she want? Why is she making everything so hard for him? He is staying away from her like she had wanted and now she is spying on him? why? Yeah, he loved her and was willing to go through all the pain for her but no matter what he can't get her out of his head. At the office, home and he even began seeing Geet's face in the form of his secretary. He hold his head. Even the air he was breathing right now smelled of Geet as if she was right here in this house with him.
He saw the servants bringing him water. Maan waived his hand dismissing them right away. The servants wanted to tell them about Geet but seeing him angry made them think otherwise. Maan gets up to go to his room which was messy by the way thanks to Vicky. All he wanted to do last night was play games.
Maan chased him all over the room in order to get him to drink some milk, which by the way, was his idea in the first place and in the morning he wouldn't put his clothes on making him late for work as well.
"Maybe little bit of rest might help me take my mind off of Geet"
He proceeds to go up stairs, he smells the aroma around him which smelled of Geet. He shakes his head knowing how far in the deep end he is going. This separation was finally getting to him. He slowly opens the door while opening his vest buttons. He looks around the room, it was clean. He steps inside looking at everything being kept in place, he goes to the bathroom looking around.
"Who dared to clean my room?" He throws his vest on the bed with anger missing the white shirt that was neatly kept on the bed. Everything was kept in the proper places.
Geet sighs in relief when Maan didn't close the room door or else she would've been caught. She didn't have enough courage in her to move a muscle without being caught. She saw glimpse of Maan whenever he would come close to the bed but still she couldn't see his full face. She curses herself for being so stupid and not thinking properly. She could hear his footsteps moving frantically throughout the whole room and could sense his anger. He always had this persona about him that lets everyone around him know how he is feeling.
She heard him leave the room, this was her chance to escape. Slowly, she comes out from behind the door carefully looking down the hallway. Maan was downstairs calling all the servants. She felt bad for them but now she had to escape. She quickly runs down the hallway towards a dark room.
Maan goes downstairs angry at the servants for entering his room without his permission. No one had that right. No one! All the servants lined up in a single file with head bowed down waiting for him to begin.
"Who dared to go inside my room?" (Maan asks in anger.) "I have specifically told everyone to stay away from my room. Who was it that went there?" (he waited for someone to speak.) you guys have three seconds to tell me or else you guys very well know what I am capable of (Quickly, one of the servants came forward with his head bowed down)
"sir actually"
"Tell me quickly and I will not do anything to you"
"Ma'am had come. We tried stopping her but she wouldn't listen"
Maan's heart stopped beating Geet? Did she really come here? Than realization dawns upon him, her aroma was everywhere around the house.
"where is she now?"
"We don't know sir. Maybe she left. We tried stopping her sir but she was not listening at all." (Maan goes back up the stairs to his room. He sniffs the air, her aroma was still there, still fresh as ever. He looked around the room for her but nothing. He turns on his cctv cameras to see if Geet is in her room with Anamika but nope. He saw nurse taking care of Anamika...a stranger. His anger rose. He didn't want to get mad but just the thought of leaving Anamika alone with a stranger pained him.
He goes out of the room toward the mansion but stopped. If she isn't there than is she still here in the outhouse? She can't be downstairs or else the servants would've informed him than where? He goes toward the room at the end of the hallway, his gym, the only other room upstairs.
He slowly goes inside, it was dark but he could sense her here. He didn't want to yell her name out loud and end up seeing her face. He cannot break his promise. He heard some movements in the room but chose to ignore it. Slowly, he takes off his shirt while paying attention to his surroundings. He knew she was here. Why was she here leaving Anamika all alone? He wanted to yell at her for her carelessness but tried to remain calm. He throws his shirt toward the possible direction he sensed her in as he began to work out to take his anger out and trying to fish out Geet as well.
He knew how shy she can get especially if she sees him shirtless. No matter he will use this same tactic for her.
Geet held her breath as she watched Maan work his each and every muscles. She had forgotten how well shaped his body is. The six packs, the taunt biceps even his back looked so muscular. A loud noise brings her out of her dreamland. She saw Maan being busy chopping up some boards with his hands. Since his back was towards her she thought about running away before he even notices. She looks at his back one more time before trying to take a step out toward the door.
Maan saw her through his pherphrial vision moving toward the door. He smirks as he marked his another victory.
"Geet"
She stops in her tracks after hearing her name from his mouth after a long time. She didn't dare to turn around to face him nor Maan made any effort to come near Geet.
"Don't leave Anamika alone with strangers. Especially with a nurse. If no one is home to take care of her than let me know I will make some other arrangements"
Geet mentally chides herself for leaving Anamika alone. She turns around to look at him but he still had his back toward her. She didn't know what to say.
"woh uhh"
"its okay. Next time no need to clean the room save the energy for Anamika and looking after her" (he says while looking at her from over his shoulder) "You should go before Dadima notices you are missing"
Geet nodes her head and leaves the outhouse without looking back. She was hurt with the way he was talking and not even looking at her. How does he know everything that goes around the house? She looks around and than it hits her. She remembers him showing his room with a footage. A camera. Does he still have cameras in here? What if he is watching me right now?
