@TM, thanks for this topic and thread! I read it yesterday, but did not have time to post a comment though I wanted to badly since this is one of the things that annoy me thoroughly about PV. 😡aww..that's fine dear. Your likes were marking your presence.😊Same here! This one grievance proves hurdle in my happy viewing. Apart from it, PV rocks.. 😳The punar vivah between Aarti and Yash was done with one aim only from both their perspectives...to give their children love of both parents. That love happened between them later is another matter altogether and not relevant to the discussion here.Yash, more than Aarti, fulfilled his promise, by bonding with Ansh almost at once. It was easier for him too, since Ansh had never known a father but had the idea that a dad is some kind of superman (partly due to Aarti) and he expected and demanded that from Yash. Ansh was thrilled that his mumma was getting married and he was getting a "naya Papa"...and so it was easier for Yash and Ansh to bond. On the other hand, the two girls had known a mother, and the elder one Palak has memories of her mother. Palak never got over the trauma of her mother not returning with the cake on her birthday and Yash going into zombie land after Arpita's death did not help either. Moreover, the girls had been fed stories about cruel step-mothers by Maya and they looked askance at Aarti from day one. Aarti was also not very proactive in the initial days...she had to be prodded by Gayatri to get the girls ready for school the first day. She was always absorbed in Ansh and it took her a little time to even acknowledge the girls but she is a natural mother and affectionate and kind and she did look after their needs after that. Yet she did not bond with them like Yash did with Ansh. It was only when Yash proved beyond doubt that he considered his position as Ansh's Papa seriously that she became proactive. Her attempt to make Palak feel better about her birthday was a disaster, but she did bond finally with Palak over the debate competition. Payal was more receptive of Aarti as she was younger and did not have clear memories of her own mother and she responded to the care and affection more than Palak did.I agree with above! Anxiety and need recognition in Ansh about a father was there. He always welcomed Yash in his life. Whereas Palak never really wanted a second mother.I am agreeing to every bit that acceptance which Palak gave to Aarti as mother, was result of Aarti's efforts. She slowly gave Aarti status of her mother.Acceptance generally needs to get followed by consistency. After conquering Palak's love, Aarti became proud mother of three. Now coming to love and affection part, where she exhibits her love for Ansh and Palak watching them like an audience. Here, grievance arises. The punar vivah started off with them being parents, then friends, and then lovers. During the first two phases, the children were given importance but in the third phase now, the kids are pushed to the backburner. This would be okay in the normal way, but here there is a complication. Aarti's ex-husband has returned and since the fact that Aarti is not a widow but divorcee is not known to Yash, it complicated the situation. Aarti is blackmailed for the BMT procedure and gives in. These scenes definitely mean more importance for Ansh over the girls, and that is something we the audience can accept. But I agree with you that giving this importance to Ansh has become skewed in the sense that in every scene with the kids, Ansh seems to get more importance! There were many scenes with the kids which did not have the Prashant shadow, and in these at least, the balance should be maintained by giving some limelight to the girls as well. There are times when I have felt even Yash is partial towards Ansh over the girls......though these are few and far between.@Bold: That's the root of frustration for audiences. Prashant's matter demanded Ansh on screen. Well dealt with! But where three or two kids are in frame in normal circumstances, Partiality occurs. In those scenes where PayPal and Ansh were on Dubey's place, Focus on Ansh was natural as Prashant, his real father, was creating circumstances for Aarti to become protective of Ansh. But at Scindhiya's, when there is no such mess, girls do deserve chance with Mother in presence of brother. And Yash needs to get some scenes with all of kids. That photograph of Aarti and Yash with Ansh did not go down well with me either! 😡But I think that photo was just for Prashant's viewing because I did not notice it again in the room (I am not sure if it is there still...). I do hope it is there and that girls do question their parents on why they are missing. I so badly want a track later with the highlight on the girls and questions raised on their parents' feelings for the girls. The CVs had better show it, otherwise the show will lose some of its sheen for me! They cannot assume that we the audience would presume Aarti's bond with the girls when it is not shown...I did not find it so glaring earlier but since Lalitpur, it has become more and more evident. What I wonder about it is...is it because of Prashant track and Ansh being important now which has overlapped into other parts of the story as well (which is not forgivable!) or is it done with a purpose having a future track in mind once the present mess is cleared up (which is what I want). I am not fully reassured that there is a track for the girls coming up...so I am quite unhappy with what is shown regarding the kids!Yeah!! That photograph was just one damn picture. I want camera to take a shot around room. May be we can find a picture of Mommy-Papa with girls alone too someday.😆But yeah!! If I give up on my silly and hopeless thought above, Palak and Payal have all the right to ask Yash-Aarti about their place.I am too foggy and afraid that this track won't come ever. They will satisfy us audience with repair scenes such as yesterday one(where Aarti asks about Palak's cough), Though I liked that but this is just not enough.I want Aarti to tell Palak and payal to slow down when they ran. Like she does for Ansh.Let's hope! I want redemption on this one.

Nice post! 👏👏👏 But, I think maybe the little girls don't really have time to come to PV set.. They might be busy in their real life leaving CV with no choice! Its my opinion! But whatever you wrote, I agree with it.. There should be more bonds between them and their parents! 😃
