hey guys, how can u say dat tulsi is realistic? She always bottles up her feeling and emotions towards her family members, and she always makes huge sacrifices that none of us in da real world would do. Think about it if u were in tulsi's position during many of her fight and battles, would u just keep all of ur feelings towards urself without even telling any1?? No. Would u like it when the whole family dislikes u and takes away ur dignity without even opening ur mouth just ONCE? Almost no one can do what tulsi has accomplished. ALmost no one can be as nice as her in the real world and in reality. In my opinion, Tulsi is the most unrealistic character in Kyunki. Even though shes my most favourite character.

i agree with what you said, thulsi is one of the most unrealistic characters in the show, Gautam (mainly because he wasn't raised in his families bubble) and Ganga are the only ones who come close to reality.

i would go with savita, she plays the regular misguided, judgemental, egoist and sarcastic saas too well. she is quite close to reality especially in the fact that she has no ulterior motives but the happiness of her brood in her mind inspite of all her flaws and plotting.

she is followed closely by tulsi who epitomises the typical indian women in joint families with mediocre education. she has been taught all her life that her identity starts and ends with the family. her own interests , ego and happiness are immaterial when the family is faced by crisis. she is supposed to secrificing and a perfect wife/mother.
