True love stands the test of time

True love stands the test of time.

This is the time when we will see if Jai truly loves bani. I am not questioning his liking/soft corner for Bani. Over the period of time, as various incidents proved Bani's integrity & selflessness, Jai came to respect her as a person, respect grew into liking and sometime later, he started totake for granted, the care and attention she showered on him. As they started to feel comfortable with each other and as his trust on Bani kept increasing, it was but natural for Jai to suspect something cooking when Bani wanted divorce with alimony!

The fact that Bani was going to be the mother of his child made him happy and proud because he admired Bani's qualities - ability to love without expecting anything in return, ability to live and sacrifice for others, ability to sustain her principles in adverse conditions, her integrity..qualities that jai admired and could rarely find ...not in his sister, not in the women he had come across in the past...but...

....is that LOVE? or at least does Jai Walia treats her as a husband would treat his wife? Love does not depend on reciprocation. If Jai truly loves Bani, then however mad he may be at her, for time and again proving him wrong and demanding money, for 'aborting' (per his understanding) HIS child, his love will never fade. He may not want to live with Bani BUT, if he really loves her, he will NEVER be able to share anything, not even an intimate hug with any other woman, nothing that he once wanted to share with Bani, IF he LOVES Bani.

He may never ever want to see her face again BUT, if he really loves her, he will NEVER be able to even try searching any other pair of eyes for comfort or closeness that one tries to find in his/her love.

We all know about Bani's depth of love for Jai..the lady has practically destroyed all her happiness and dreams (Fanaa!) for him (lets not discuss how impractical her methods of action were..it is a brain deficiency - genetic disorder as Anu has stated😆 )

We all have discussed, debated and at times fought on whether Jai loves Bani or not. Tonight (or in coming episodes), we will know what feelings Jai really has for Bani. When he sounded amused at Tarun's statement that he is madly in love with Bani, we chided him, we refused point blank to even think about it, we concluded that he is in a denial mode, he does not realize how much he LOVES her. Tonight, is the test, not only Jai's test, it is our test too, we will find out whether we understood our Jai and his feelings very well or was our analysis more of a wishful thinking!

Jai's principles and his integrity may fail, he may succumb to desires and he may try to find solace in Pia BUT if he LOVES Bani, this will never happen. TRUE LOVE STANDS THE TEST OF TIME. Love never fails.

Let us see if Mr. Walia really loves his wife or it was simply a deep bond of trust and respect that was shattered in the past month!

Great post. I agree today is the day of reckoning if JW does not succumb to Pia and booze today nothing I guess will ever take him away from Bani.

It is time Amma realised that love is also about trusting, communicating and sharing your joys as well as sorrows with your beloved. But that realisation may come too late.

I too hope that she doesnt prove that Love is wrong or the emotions what Jai had/has for Bani was nothing!

i totally agree with u as this will prove whether he loves bani or just respect her feelings and this is just a relation of trust.

i have a strong feeling that j end up with pia after seeing the promos...i really dont have guts to see the episode today

Its really his time of reckoning and pass through the etst of love. Lets see.

Jai needs to differentiate his feeling of comfort with Bani, from love.Today Jai will have to give an acid test and I am keeping my fingers crossed and truly hope that he passes with flying colors

But we all know they will do it and I think the promos were supposed to be aired tomorrow but they did it today and confirmed our doubts and they are leaving no stone unturned in destroying our hopes
