Later after the meeting, raj and maan were seated in his cabin discussing some office issues.

Raj : from now on this is your cabin maan .

Maan smiled a bit and moved towards his dad: papa I agreed to take charge as MD only on one condition that you will be always there to guide me whenever am in need. I can never take your place papa .

Raj smiled: I knew this beta. I have arranged for your cabin next to that corridor. From there you can be able to view what your employees are doing.

Maan hugged him: thanks papa. You know me so well .

Raj : who else would know then ?

He patted his back and continued: now proceed to your cabin. I will send adi , the head accountant to your cabin in few mins . Let him know if you need any changes to be done in your cabin.

Maan was confused: accountant papa ?

Raj : you don't know about him beta . he is a very sincere and true worker . In spite of his over loaded accounts department works, he truly helps me in taking confidential business decisions. You can trust him beta.

Maan just noded and left to his cabin. Raj called adi and asked him to come to his cabin.

Adi knocked the door: may I come in sir?

Raj: yes, come in .

Adi smiled: you called me sir?

Raj gestured him to sit down: Adi I noticed that our branch's head architect was missing in todays meeting. If am not wrong, I haven't got to see her for the past 2 months.

Adi's smile faded : yes sir . her name is geet handa . she hasn't resumed office for the last 2 months .

Raj : isn't she the same person who led the team in designing EA project in Chennai ?

Adi : yes sir .

Raj : whats wrong adi ?

Adi : sir , its something her personal . so ' (he dragged )

Raj : adi you know I hate irresponsible people and theres no place in KC for such unproffesionalism . but I know geet . she isn't the one to behave so unethically . there should be some strong reason behind it .

Adi : yes sir . theres a lot more but I could not say that here sir .

Raj was confused : you cant say here means where ?

Adi : if you are free , we can head to the terrace garden for sometime sir .

Maan on the meanwhile came to get a file from his dad's cabin heard the talk. He wasn't the one who would over hear others talk . but he was surprised as to why such an importance is given to a normal staff. He followed them to the terrace .

Adi and raj sat on the garden bench in the terrace .

Adi : sir ,what ever I saw now should not be known to other staffs of our office .

Raj smiled: I know you are like a brother to her adi .even I have girl child . you can trust me .

Adi : she had applied for three weeks leave for her wedding sir . she was very happy with her parents choice .

Raj : arranged marriage ?

Adi smiled: yes sir .

Raj : nowadays its rare to find these arranged marriages as children's themselves take the responsibility .

Adi : geet was different sir. She was the only child and hence she was brought up with all the wealth they had . inspite of that , she was down to earth and caring towards everyone. But fate had different plans . she met with an accident a wek before the wedding . she is now handicapped sir.

Raj was totally shocked :what ?

Adi : yes sir , she cant mover her both legs . she is totally broken . the brides family broke the alliance and geet's family was left to suffer . since the wedding was scheduled in her native place, none of the office staffs could attend it and hence no one in the office knows about it ..i hope you understand sir.

Raj : so much happened with her and you dint find it necessary to inform adi ??

Adi : sir when geet dint return to office on the scheduled date , myself and the HR team tried to contact her but we could not get through. I just came to know about this 2 days before when I met her father accidentally in the market . she has totally confined herself in her room and dosent wish to see any one sir ..

Raj wipped his tears : why god punishes the innocent every time ??

Adi consoled him and took him to the cabin before anyone could notice. Maan who was hearing all those things felt sad for her . but he could not understand why his dad is worrying for an ordinary employee . he decided to look on the matter in coming days '
