Article: Annie Gill is thankful to Sony

Annie Gill is happy that she has finally managed to make a place for herself in the television industry. Annie who plays the lead in Sony Entertainment Television's new show, Anamika has had her share of struggle to get into the limelight.

Going down the memory lane, Annie tells Tellychakkar.com, "I feel blessed after bagging Anamika. I have struggled a lot and it is a dream come true to be associated with a channel like Sony. There were times when people used to tell me that I will not be accepted by Indian audience as I do not have a typical Indian girl look. But I am thankful to Sony for going beyond my looks and taking me in as their main lead. With all the makeup, I am really surprised to see myself on screen. I am glad that I am being loved by all."

Annie is also glad that her conviction came good. "I have always believed that Universe will give us what we want, and we will never be deprived of anything. I was longing to get a show on television, and I am happy to see myself in this position today. As for now, I am simply loving and enjoying my present phase."
