Kashmera Shah's high-handed behavior irks newcomer Sikander

Spats are an integral part of film shoots. This time, Kashmera Shah and Sikander Kharbanda (better known as Indranil of Kasauti Zindagi Kay) are not on talking terms after an altercation on the sets of Pappu Pass Ho Gaya. The film stars Jackie Shroff and Krishna Abhishek in lead roles.
Kharbanda said, "I had a bitter experience on the sets of Pappu Pass Ho Gaya. We were shooting in Jaipur and we had only one vanity van. Krishna and I were using that van when we got to know that Kashmera is not very happy with us using the van and has asked us to move out as she wanted to use the van exclusively. I would have understood Kashmera's stand if we were in Mumbai where vans are easily available."
Their producer had requested them to adjust for a day and he arranged for an additional van the next day. "The atmosphere which was friendly earlier turned hostile as I stopped talking to Kashmera after this incident. Though she and I continued to talk politely, I would rather not speak to her again. It would have been a nice if she would have adjusted with new actors like us but she did not," he says.
When contacted, Kashmera appeared to have an attack of amnesia. She said, "I don't recollect any such incident. I was friendly with Krishna and I only remember Sikander as a character actor in the film. Have you ever heard any such thing about me in the last eight years I have been in the industry? I have never misbehaved with any actor and treat everyone alike. My boy must have stopped Sikander while I was changing in the van. Sikander must have thought that I've asked him not to enter the van."
