Aamna Shariff will not quit television however

Aamna Shariff is not going to take that leap on Kahiin To Hoga after all. The actress however has other plans up her sleeve. She plans to make her film debut next year.
Aamna was working in just one soap, a decision she was happy with. But after refusing offers, Aamna is finally thinking of giving the nod to another serial by the end of this month. she says, "Also, there's a very tempting film offer that has come my way. It's a love story for a good banner. However, after Kahiin To Hoga I need to take a break before I decide on my next career move."
But Aamna is very clear about her priorities. "I work only for 15 days a month. There're so many other things to do. One has to grow in life. So when I'm free, I do a lot of shows abroad. I sing, dance and make celebrity appearances. I think I'll be seriously looking at Bollywood in 2007. But it's happening for sure," she confirms. As for Kahiin To Hoga, she says, "I hope I'll continue to be a part of it in future. If I can't, it will still continue to hold a very special place in my heart. I don't think any debutant in movies gets the kind of adulation I got through my first show."
Riding high on the success wave, Aamna just bought a new car. "My second one, I now have a Carola and a Camri. I like new things to happen in my life. That's what I work so hard for. I've gone through really low phases in my life. "My hard work has paid off. Of course, I'm complimented for my performance but it's my accessories and wardrobe gets equal praise."
No interview with the actress will be complete without talk on her friendship with Rajiv Khandelwal. "He's a very special friend. But it's difficult for me to have an intimate relationship with someone from the same profession. He's a good friend. No one can act fresh with me when he's around."
