Khushi tried to wave off his hands but she was too weak to do it so she did what she could, "Just leave me"

He immediately pulled his hands and sat near her on the bed. She looked around the room and then came to know that it was not the one she was staying for past two nights

"Where are we?" She asked

"Mayank's apartment" He replied

She tried to get up but the pain in her back due to the bruises weren't letting her, He brought his hands to hold her but she nodded her head to no

"Aahh" She cried in pain and again fell on the bed

"Khushi you need something? I'll get it for you" He asked

"I … I want … to ….." She never thought that she will ever say something like this to him but now she has to, she sighed, "I want to use …. use the washroom" She said helplessly as she knew she can't even walk two steps without his help

"Ok …come" Instead of picking her up he gently giving her support made her stand on the floor. She stumbled as she took the first step but he didn't let her fall, straightening her he looked at her, she was crying and her tears were falling on his heart

"Khushi … please try to walk" She took the step slowly and then the other holding his hand, she finally managed to walk. Reaching near the door, she stopped and pulled her hand from his

"I am here, keep the door open and call me if you need anything" He said and left her. She went inside by taking the support of the wall, though she wants to lock the door but she didn't. She stopped in front of the mirror and looked at her reflection, she ran her hands to her face, 'was it really her? This pale and weak, or is it some other girl' She questioned herself,

Her life was beautiful just three days back and in three days everything finshed for her.

"So what am I doing alive if my family is no more, There is no one for whom I have to live, No one" She cried as her cheeks drenched in her tears

"Khushi" Arnav knocked on the door getting worried. Hearing his voice she wiped her tears

"Khushi are you ok?" He asked while her eyes again filled with tears.

"I am fine" She replied composing herself.

"I wish I wouldn't have met you ever and if I did I shouldn't have loved you, Yes …. I can never tell you this but I always loved you, you never crossed the line of our friendship but I did …. I fell in love with you …. I don't know why? I don't know when? But I love you ….. and the reason I am alive is maybe that I owe this life to you …. I can never think wrong about you even after what you did to me" She closed her eyes and held the edge of the sink to get some support but her eyes flew open as the similar memory flashed in her head

She was busy in washing utensils when she felt his hands at sink on either sides of her, she stopped washing the dish as soon she realized he has cornered her. She closed her eyes and gulp in fear

"God please save me, I don't know what he is intending to do but please save me" Khushi prayed unaware of the fact that she just did it aloud.

'She is innocent' He thought and couldn't help the smile

"Khushi" he whispered in her ear still not touching her and she clutched on the edge of the sink tightly

"Pl … Mr Rai … Raizada …. P…. Please … move aside" She hardly managed to speak ignoring his breath near her ear

"Not unless you say that we're still friends" It was not she wanted to hear, she want to hear something else but then controlling her desires she facade the rigid Khushi

"Ok we are still friends …. Now please move aside" She said as if she wasn't bothered by any of his action, he smiled at her and then silently backed off

As he take his hands off, she sighed in relief but just for a moment, next moment he spun her around and pulled her towards him

"What?"

He was just smiling, he take his one hand to his back and her gaze followed his movement, what she saw surprised her.

"For our friendship" He was holding a beautiful bouquet of yellow and white flowers. She looked at him, she expected the red flowers from him if he ever gave but now he was giving these white and yellow flowers which mean he only consider her as his friend. She smiled inwardly at her stupidity for thinking something else

"Khushi take it" He handed it to her and she accepted silently

"Thanks" She smiled

"You're welcome M'am" He bowed his head making her giggle. She again turned towards the sink to wash the remaining utensils

Arnav, Khushi and Rohit prepared the lunch together and Khushi taught Arnav how to make Kheer

"Wow it's so simple" Arnav exclaimed after he learnt the whole recipe, Khushi smiled and continued with the garnishing

He dipped his finger in the hot Kheer to taste but it burnt, "Ouch" He take out his finger and before he could do anything Khushi turned worriedly and held his finger

"Careful Arnav Jee" He froze at his place, for the first time she addressed him by his name. He couldn't help but to stare her as she blow on his finger

"Is it paining" She asked looking up at him and as she did she realized what she was doing. She immediately left his hand

"Sor ..sorry" as she said tucking her hair strands behind her ear he found her really cute

"It's ok … let's serve the lunch to the couple" He said lightly as to lessen the awkwardness

They enjoyed the lunch together and everyone praised the food.

After lunch Rohit and Arnav take Khushi to show her their room which was the only bedroom of the apartment and like kitchen and living room this place was also dirty

"I can't believe you guys can sleep at such a dirty place" She again made nauseate face, in embarrassment Rohit start picking the shirts from the floor while Arnav was busy in staring and admiring her

She looks even cuter when she is angry, he thought to himself

"I would rather prefer to die then to live at such a dirty place" As she said Rohit threw the pile of clothes he was holding and turned to her

"Khushi you are insulting us standing in our apartment" He said angrily scaring Khushi

"Nn.. No … I …. I … was just …. giv …giving my opinion" She stammered

"Rohit" Arnav gritted gesturing Rohit to stop

"Ok, I promise next time you won't find this house as dirty" Arnav said

"I would never come here again" She muttered to herself

Today Destiny brought her to the same place which she denied to come. Her tears were uncontrollable. It's been half an hour since she went inside, getting worried he decided to check if she is fine. He opened the door slightly getting a glimpse of her standing in front the sink, he sighed in relief but as his eyes fell on her back he become worried again, blood were oozing out of her wounds.

"Khushi" She turned scared hearing his voice and was about to fall when he held her

"You need to take shower"

"I can't …" She said moving away from him

"I'll help you" He said

"B …. But I don't have any clothes" She turned red at the thought of being naked in front of him, no she can't do this

"You can wear mine" He took a step closer while she moved back but stopped as she hit the sink

"Nn ….no …. Please …." She clutched the pallu tightly

"Khushi let me dress your wounds please, it's opening again and if I won't do it then they can be serious" This time Arnav said helplessly but her clutch only tighten

"Just think I am your doctor and you are my patient, Khushi please …."

He placed his hand on hers and gently break her clutch. She closed her eyes as she felt him pulling the pallu and then slowly he undraped her sari, Feeling herself half naked she crossed her hands on her chest. Arnav for a moment was mesmerized with her beauty, he forgot what he told her, he looked at her face, her pressed lips were inviting him to devour them, his eyes roamed down to her heaving chest which evoked a strange desire in him and he fisted to get some control. He holding her arms, gently turned her so now her back was facing him. As soon his eyes fell on the wounds he felt the rage running through his blood. Controlling himself, he unhooked the blouse and gently removed it. Turning the water tap on, he brought her under the shower, she hissed in pain as warm water runs down her body. Taking the antiseptic soap he started applying it to her body, starting from the neck as his hands moved downwards she stopped him holding his hand

"I'll do it" She spoke feeling very embarrassed at the very thought of him touching her, Arnav let her do as he looked away. After she done applying to her upper body, he undid the dori of her inner skirt and taking soap from her applied it to her legs. His touch was sending chills down her spine and she felt herself losing control

He then shampooed her hairs and wrapping towel around her he picked her and came out of the washroom. Arnav made her sit on the bed and move to the closet, Khushi was not able to meet his gaze now. Coming to her he gently removed her towel and dressed her wounds; his fingers at her back were giving her tingling sensation. After done with dressing, he made her wear his shirt and trouser

"See it isn't that much difficult" He said getting up from the bed while she just kept quiet

"Not for you, but for me it was the most difficult thing to do" She thought to herself

"Are you hungry?" As he asked she realized that she haven't eaten anything after the little breakfast she had, she just nodded

"Ok I'll get something for you" As he left, she leaned back with the head board, she was feeling much relaxed after the shower and the pain in her back was less than before

He said that they were in Mayank's apartment which means they left Haveli but why? She thought
