Watching Adi rebel against him and fight for Sugni's rights and then breaking Sugni's fast TVS had a gentle look on his face . Is he training Adi to fight the world stand up for Sugni against everyone in family and outside world . He did seem to have a look when Adi brought a saree and was feeding Sugni. TVS did look after Adi as his son and always guided him and he loves Sugni also. Otherwise what is the reason he tells Adi he has nothing in his name and everything belongs to him. Being the shrewd person projected from the starting i seem to think so and my impression of friday's episode seemed so .
Adi and Sugni have not realised this and think that TVS is against them.
Liked the way he brushed off the efforts of Reva saying shehas got what she wanted and need not pretend to do the KC fastšŸ˜‰šŸ˜›

Hi Chalov

I love your optimism. I would like it to be the case as I have always said I am not bothered if Sugni and TVS are not together (indeed I did not expect them to stay together as if Sugni loves and marries the first man she meets it would not be much of a story) but the TVS character has soo much more potential in future storylines than just being an obessive man.

Unfortunately I have no faith in the CVs that they are that creative or forward thinking.

Lets see if you are proved right.

I also think his expressions aren't always full of hatred.

But then, what would be the point of that? Why would he also hurt Amrita? Unless he is dying and wants to see Sugni settled and happy?

I do applaud your optimism, Chalhov.

There has been a TON of discussion on the forum about the storyline, sugni's, adi's, and TVS' actions, morality, right or wrong, etc. etc.

I watched this show from the beginning regularly. But, was so put off by the horrible storyline and how things went wrong a few months ago. And now I must admit, I'm just amused at the stupid, narrow, and low thinking of the storywriters.

One has to be really DUMB and STUPID to handle a story this way.

Personally, I don't have extreme views on who I have sympathy for. I think truly speaking, I don't sympathize with ANY of the characters and I think that is a very strong statement.

I don't want to judge morality or immorality here. But, marrying your ex-lovers nephew is definitely awkward (no matter how small the age difference between adi and sugni may be). But, at the same time, writers treatment (or should I say ill-treatment) of TVS' character is mind-boggling.

Finally, people like Maa Thakur, Adi's mom, Reva, and TVS' sister-in-law are GOOD for NOTHING. These people pretend to be the GUARDIANs of sanskaars and rituals and customs and themselves are DOUBLE-FACED. I personally DESPISE Adi's mom and Maa Thakur a lot.

And finally, on a lighter note, Do these Thakurs do any REAL work? LOL. All I see them doing is ready at home in some sherwani etc. etc. for the different pujas etc. How much MONEY did their ancestors earn for them to NOT DO ANYTHING? LOL. šŸ˜†

sorry i dont agree with you. TVS only feels jelous that sugni loyelty lies with Aditya now, TVS is planing to destroy Aditya so that he can have sugni in the end. and this time not as a wife but as his keep, he wants to humiliated Sugni. he thinks that Sugni married Aditya for money and to be takurain. but money and status have no value for sugni. she may not have married for love, but she is true to her relationship with Aditya. vikram taunts sugni that she chose the wrong thakur to marry, vikram wants to prove that with Aditya down on his luck, sugni will show her supposed true colours and leave him for a richer man. as in become his mistress.
this way in the eyes of the family he is responsible for bringing back the prodigal son, Aditya, trowing sugni out of Aditya life. and with no where to go sugni will walk right into his arms.
but i think that he is going to be in for a great suprise, when sugni sticks by Aditya, through thick and thin. helps him solve his problem. and prove once and for all that she is not intreasted in money and status.

I am guessing you missed the episode when Sugni was on the temple steps lamenting losing her dreams of living in a mansion instead of her heart breaking...šŸ˜‰
