Everybody is speculating about the red diary and so am I. But what nudged me the most was, Jeet wakes up in a strange place. Its dark, silent and very errie but the first thing he utters is "kitni thand hai" not the usual "Main kahan hoon, yeh kaunsi jagah hai" and then he realizes his shoes are missing and what does he do - he opens a drawer for no reason and pockets a diary which in the first place he doesn't know whose it might be!!
Writer/directors must watch out for such comedy moments in an eerie and tense situation. We are a bunch of intelligent viewers and like some degree of realism and sophistication in your work.
