i have a doubt here..i heard VD at ITA today , i saw prev. epi. of MB, he sounded very different in the Friday's episode while talking to Madhu ...i've gone crazy or 😕

Hey All who liked my Muse analogy,

Thank you for your comments. To those whom I have not responded...that is AA, Zoe, Shruti, Zoya and Hima, thank you very much. After reading all your comments, I was tempted to see VS Shantaram's Navrang movie today.

Here's it.

At the 3rd minute, listen to Shantaram (as the screenplay writer and director of the movie) about his personal investment in the film as the showman. Just 1 to 2 minutes.

Then as you watch the movie...listen to Kaviraj the hero...who is a poet, wants to find romance in his life with his wife Jamuna as his Mohini.. Jamuna, the wife; is this pragmatic woman devoid of all imagination and keeps driving him away with her ordinary wifey activities. And Kaviraj then retreats into his own imaginations recreating his Mohini who has his wife's "roop" , but the aura, passion, the temptation, the competition, the understanding, the pleasure felt at the splendour of colors and emotions expressed; that Kaviraj yearns for. May be you will not be interested to watch this for the entire length as it is old movie...so just watch it from 14 to 33 minute and see it. Look at the 33rd minute how this Mohini becomes his Muse and goes and resides in his pen. He then starts writing the poem.

May be you will understand why RK sort of getting upset with doing ordinary activities like all wives for him.

So RK doesnt want to see his Madhubala as the ordinary wife. He use to take her to the sets and ask her to rehearse his dialogues with. Maybe he gets some kind of inspiration from her. She use to be the apple of his eyes on the sets. Maybe he would have continued this way if his mother didnt make him realize that Madhu too in an individual with her own feelings, desires, and emotions. He use to make clay statues of her. The obsession from his end was always there. He started caring for her as an individual after he brought her close. Either way this is a very scary thing. They both have different ways of expressing love. Will they ever find a middle ground??

Hello everyone.. I am usually a silent reader on this thread, but have to ask a question today... I thoroughly enjoy reading all the analysis you guys do...so the question is..can anybody tell me the lyrics of the song we heard when Madhubala looks at RK and moon..that song sounds very familiar, but don't know what movie it is from..or what are the exact lyrics at the beginning..but remember something like..nainon me teri..comes in the middle..can someone please do the favor..thanks in advance!!

The background music played during the KC rituals in the studio over the Friday episode are many:

Madhu's recent "I fell in love " BG score since the Main Pareshaan song
the regular BG music between RK and Madhu
the altered track from film song "saibo" Soundarya gave us the song in the thread and Charu already made the vm. The thread has the information somewhere after page 12
Along with that they also play the improvised track of Aa Ja zara kareeb se ...to lead us into the dance scene in the episode.
