she is so decent and elegant... havent seen such a decent mother in any indian soap before... her mannerisms and attitude is wayyy distinct and different from others... kuddos to the writers for writing a sensible character like her...

Agree, she is graceful, beautiful, calm, understanding, loving mother but can be stern and assertive when need be.

I love her... She is so calm and composed .. Not to forget understanding...

Shalini Kapoor Sagar plays the character very well... And I also love how versatile she is .. Becuz she comes in another show.. "Junoon Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq" on Life Ok... And the chRacter she plays is TOTALLY opposite dilshaad... ( also love tht show actually. .. :) becuz of the chemistry of the leads..)
Anyways!! I think for those of u who haven't seen her in junoon... Should watch a clip.. Becuz she executes both characters with such ease..

I love her character and shalini Kapoor's expressions. She looks so dignified and respectful. Her eyes says it all- it can express pain when faced to Rashid. and so much innocence when she gets caught by Asad while protecting Zoya.

Completely agree!

One of the reasons I watch the show is that the relations seem so much more real than other shows. The way Najma-Dilshaad talk to each other like mum-daughter but there is also a friendship there that reminds me of my mum and myself.

I like how she explains things to Asad and also confides in him too. The funny part recently when Dilshaad plugged in the TV and it worked, then Asad looked embarrassed...haha. Loved it :)
