My first TV show

The first show I hosted was way back in 1996. It was called Mast Mast Show, and it used air on El TV. It was a talent hunt show that scouted for budding singers with a good voice; quite similar to Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs that I am currently hosting. At that time, I had really long hair and my Hindi was atrocious.

The entire crew used to be in splits every time I gave a shot. I can't believe I managed to shoot 68 episodes of the show! If there's one thing I learnt from my first show it's that you can get away with anything if you have a charming smile.

nice of him to tell that...his hindi was atrocious even when he started doing SA RE GA MA PA. He is much much better now ..still makes mistakes with the gender but covers up quickly 😆
