the world of showbiz boasts of two popular kinds of guys â one, who's a hunk with six-pack abs, bulging biceps and brawn to boast of, the kind who'd make nubile nymphets go weak in their knees. I like him especially because he looks very innocent and is the kind of guy every woman would like to take home to meet her parents.'' Rajeev's popularity remains intact despite his ouster from Kahiin.... Of course, it broke many women's hearts. ''The serial is not the same ever since Sujal has left,'' adds Ajmera . But his fans seek solace in the fact that Rajeev will soon be seen in an action-packed role â in Ketan Mehta's Time Bomb, with Akashdeep Saigal.
Suave, soft spoken and handsome, Anurag Basu of Star Plus' Kasautii Zindagii Kay has assured Cezanne Khan a strong place on TV and in women's hearts! The role of an essentially good guy plus his great looks have made Cezanne very popular with the girls. Says he, ''It feels nice that girls look up to you as their dream man. I do get many compliments for my looks and personality, but the best one I've received so far was when this girl told me â 'You have the most beautiful eyes and I could drown in them!' It was really overwhelming.''
Mihir Mishra or Dr Rahul Mehra's innocent and boyish looks, and again the role of being an understanding, loving and caring guy sure seems to have worked in his favour, and made him a hit with girls. His typical lover boy role in Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa only consolidated his position as eye candy. Even the fact that he is married in real life didn't really matter. As his fan Manisha Joshi says, ''I like him regardless of the fact that he's married. He's still very cute looking. He's my idea of a boy you'd like to take home!''
For Hussain, better known as Sumeet of Kumkum of Star Plus, it's de rigueur women going ga-ga over his looks and the cute chocolate face. As Sunaina Parekh, a crazy fan of his says, ''He has an amazing face and physique. What I like about him is that he can do all kinds of roles very well. I used to like him in his action-packed role of Arjun in Krishna Arjun. And I just fell for him when I started seeing him in Kumkum. He looks so cute when he's sad.
You feel like just cuddling him! He somehow reminds me of Aamir Khan from his Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak days.''
Hiten Tejwani stood out as Karan in Star Plus' Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Before that, he had already made his presence felt as Pratham in Kutumb. ''Karan is a responsible yet vulnerable guy, which makes him very likeable,'' says his fan Suniti Karmarkar. ''He sure is so cute and sweet looking! I like the way he dresses and talks. And I've started liking him more after he played the role of this sensitive, obedient and vulnerable guy in Kyunkii.''
To sum it all up, it's certainly more than just cherubic looks that have made these actors a big hit with women across the country. It's the angelic demeanour, and the ideal-guy image that has catapulted them to the high ranking they enjoy....
